RNSIT is overall a good college and is improving day by day.

Placements: Placement is quite good here. There is a higher percentage of job offers this year than previous years. About 70-80 percent of students have been placed. There are mass as well as core companies for IT courses. But evergreen courses like civil and mechanical lack core companies. Hence, it is a problem for them. The average salary is 4 lakh per annum.

If you want to kill your dreams and college life, then join this college.

Placements: The placements for my batch was very poor. Only mass recruiters such as Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, etc. visited. I had a first-class with distinction aggregate but still, I could attend only 1 company, as you get placed in the first company even if a better company visits the college which you want to attend you are not permitted to attend. Not even a single core company visited the college. Irrespective of the branch you are in, they start training you to get into IT companies. I...

The RNS Institute of Technology is a heaven.

Placements: The placement in our college is quite improved when compared to the previous years. Many companies visited and recruited the students for some healthy packages. Especially, the branches like computer science and information science have a high percentage of placements and higher packages are offered to those students.

RNS Institute of Technology is not at all a good one.

Placements: The placement in our college is bad. I have heard from many of my friends of other colleges that a lot of multinational companies visit them and they pay quite a good package to everyone. But I never heard the same thing from our seniors. They all have graduated without being placed.

Good placements, good notes, and good food.

Placements: For the batch of 2016, almost every student in the CS department got placed. 97% of the students got placed. EC department also had fairly good placements. The highest package for CSE being 10(+)LPA and the highest in ISE being 20 lLPA. The average salary of most of the companies was 6-8 LPA. Most of the students got placed for 6.5(+) LPA (speaking with respect to CSE). The lowest salary offered was 3.5 LPA. As far as CSE is concerned, Samsung, HP, etc. visit the campus.

Record breaking placements in 2016.

Placements: We have placement offers from different MNCs. This time over 120 companies visited the campus that includes Google, Nokia, Infosys, IBM, Accenture, Bosch, HP, Wipro, AT&T, HCL, Accord, Tech Mahindra and much more. Last year, about 600 students of various branches were placed which is the maximum so far. Placements have been drastically increased every year. Students are trained in communication and facing interviews and also to face several aptitude tests in the third and the fourth year. ...

Review for RNSIT, Bengaluru. Good college for IT branches.

Placements: Placement is good for IT branches like computer science, information science and electronics & communication engineering. Branches like mechanical have less scope of placement but still, they get placed in IT companies. Civil branch is new and ours is the 1st batch that will pass out this year.

Satisfied with the college but can develop a a lot more.

Placements: College placements are average here and not that you get big companies here like Flipkart and Amazon, it is really rare. You do get average placements with good packages like 6-7 lakh in the computer field. They also provide a few job specific companies which are specific to their requirement and select only those who are the best at that job with a higher package but selecting such companies will not allow you to sit in other companies' placements.

Placements: There are just 2 core companies that came which were, Robert Bosch and Sankalp Semiconductors which offered pay packages of 6 LPA and 3.5 LPA. The rest were all IT-sector companies like Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Juspay and so on, Offering from a scale of 2 to 4 LPA.

Not totally satisfied but overall, I would say I am quite happy to be here.

Placements: Many companies visited for placements, nearly 100 approximately. Microsoft and Tech Mahindra have been one of the major companies visiting our college for the past few years. CSE as a branch has been really good.

I felt dissatisfaction with the college regarding of my branch.

Placements: The placements are average. Only one or two high package companies will come for recruitment, and they will select just one or two students. Only the companies with packages of Rs. 3 Lacs to Rs. 4 Lacs will come to the college. The companies such as Accenture, Wipro and Infosys will conduct the mass recruitment. They will take around 150 students for each company.

Everything is fine and good. You are lucky if you get this college, make it as best as you can.

Placements: The placements are very good also the faculty members. It has around 50 companies visiting the college and has established a good understanding with top mass recruiter companies like Infosys, Wipro and Accenture. Most students get placed, usually in IT companies and also some MNCs like Microsoft make a visit to the college. The average payout is around 4 LPA and highest depends. Placements are getting better and better each year.

Placements should improve, percentage of placements is high, but average pay is way too less.

Placements: Placements are good but not the best. 3 mass recruiters and many startups come to the college. If you have minimum 55% and enough technical knowledge, aptitude skills and communication skills, you will be placed for sure. 90% of placed students get 3-3.5 LPA. Maximum pay is 6.5 LPA. But almost all companies offered software engineer role, while some gave other roles. Around 10% of students get internship through college. Highest stipend offered is 27k by AT&T. Average stipend is around 10k. Per...

Very good college. Decent infrastructure, comparatively better placements & good engineering crowd.

Placements: Placements are pretty good. Every year, around 95% of the students are placed. If your aggregate is above 65-70% you will surely get placed. Big companies like Robert Bosch, Sankalp Semiconductors, Aryaka Networks, Aurigo, HP, Yodlee, Triveni, Zscaler visit the campus. Other IT companies like Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, CGI, LPA etc also visit the campus. Average package is around 3LPA. Maximum package of about 12 LPA. The college won't give you the permission for internship...

One among the top colleges, but dis-satisfactory!

Placements: The placements are okay. To be honest, not great not bad! More than 80% of the students got placed. The highest package is around 9 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 2 LPA, the average package offered is 3.25 LPA. Infosys, TCS, Mindtree, Bosche, Accenture, Tech Mahindra etc., are the companies that visit our campus. The roles offered as a developer, trainee. Around 90% of them got internships with the average stipend of Rs. 10,000.

Good college for placement.

Placements: No doubt, the placements are good. At this point of time, the college is in the 4th Position in Bengaluru. Most of the reputed companies like Infosys, Accenture, Adobe, Wipro etc. visit for recruitment. 2 to 3 companies offer packages above 10 lakhs and all other companies offer packages of approximately 4 lakhs. Microsoft doesn't recruit students from this college. The college will start special placement training called FACE and Seventh Sense after 2017 and the number of placements will increa...

Placements: The placements are really good at RNSIT. My batch alone had the following companies visiting us - Infosys Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Endurance, Zscalar, Aurigo, Robert, Bosch etc. Almost everyone is placed now, except for a handful of 10 or 20 students out of the entire batch strength of 180+. The placement officers are of great help and are interactive with the students. There is no need to worry about the placements because once you get in here, you will definitely end up your engineeri...

Placements: Placement was good. Almost all the eligible candidates got placed somewhere or the other, those who didn't meet the eligibility had a tough time. Around 90% of students were placed. Highest salary was from ThoughWorks around 6.5 lpa, average was 3.2 lpa, lowest was 1.8 lpa. Companies like Infosys, Aricent, Wipro, Mindtree, IBM to name few visited our campus. Placement is good in ECE, CSE and ISE. Other than these branches, do not prefer any other branch.

Placements: Good placement records in CSE, ECE and ISE at about 70% -90%. The most number of students having no backlogs are getting placed in these above-mentioned branches. In the other branches, it is not good, and we can take the example of mechanical engineering where the placement is about 30%-40%, which is not good. The average package offered in CSE, ECE and ISE is near about 3.5-4 lakhs in IT-based companies while 6-7 lakhs is offered in the core companies.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements but really good faculty.

Placements: Placement is average in our college but there will be plenty of mass recruiters, hence, there is no worry of getting an average placement. However, if someone is looking for a higher package or so, then this college is not for you. All over 95% of eligible students are placed in good companies. The highest salary till now is 6.2 LPA offered by Aryaka Networks and the average is 3.5 LPA. Internships have been offered by various companies, the major ones being AT&T which offered 27000 per month....
