My review for RAIGANJ Polytechnic .
Placements: Raiganj Polytechnic doesn't provide any placements. During my course no company visited our campus so None of us get placement
The percentage is very low like 0%. Additional they don't provide any internship opportunities for students so it is also very low like 0%.
Infrastructure: They have a library where you can access wide range of books related to your course. Classrooms have large space and the seating arrangement is very comfortable for students. But no free Wi-Fi available. Laboratories have all the equipments. Also hostel facility available for students both boys and girls.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful they are all qualified and experienced. Their quality of education makes students ready for industry. Semester exams are conducted after every 6-7 months that is enough time to cover your syllabus so the exams are not that much tough.
Other: I became interested in civil engineering because some of my teachers recommended this course, so I decided to pursue it. As they don't provide any placements you have to apply for off-campus placements. The annual fest typically held in March, students can participate in exhibitions during the event. The College is in main town which is located near state bus stand.

It is the best engineering college for automobile engineering.
Placements: About 70% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. Rico was the top recruiting company in our college. About 30% of students got internships from our college. I don't know about the top roles offered in our course because I didn't face this situation because of 2020 COVID-19.
Infrastructure: Our college had smart classrooms with digital projectors, big screens, and Wi-Fi for education purposes. Our college also had a 1 library, 8 labs, and a big workshop room. Our college had a good hostel. A canteen was not available. A playground was available for playing sports like football, cricket, and volleyball.
Faculty: Teachers were very good. Some teachers were not well-behaved. The teaching quality was very poor. Semester exams were very strictly conducted and questions were very hard. The pass percentage at Raiganj Polytechnic College was 90%.
Other: Discipline is the best thing on campus.

The college is definitely good for a government college.
Placements: 50 percent of students are placed in well-known company like L&T. The highest package offered as a site engineer is around 15000 to 20000 or as the lowest package is around 10000 to 12000. Role that offers most is around site engineer. Interested students can get internship but they have to have enough interest in their streams.
Infrastructure: Laboratories are quite good, and all equipment is available for every single student. Wi-Fi Facilities are available for every single student. Classroom and all instruments are well maintained by staff. Librarian is also helpful and give knowledge about everything to the inquisitive students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful even HOD (head of the department) also notice very single student in their classes. They are well qualified and recruited by WBSCTE. The teachers are very qualified even they had Ph.D. in their fields. The course makes students industry ready, semester exams are quite easy.
Other: I am obsessed with the construction industry so that's why I selected this engineering course. The syllabus should need more improvement so that we can easily compete with other countries.

Placements: Around 70% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary is Rs.20,000 per month, the lowest salary is Rs.10,000 per month, and the average salary is Rs.12,000 to Rs.15,000 per month. Around 60% of students get internships in our college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connection is good in our college. It has good infrastructure available for our department. Classrooms and a library are well-maintained. Hostels are in good condition. There is a big playground in our college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are tough in our college. Around 90% of students pass in our college.
Other: I chose this course as I love this course and the other reason is I want to be a good engineer.

Placements: Around 60% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, and many other companies visited our college for recruitment. Almost 60% of students got internships. The role offered was site engineer manufacturing.
Infrastructure: In this college, facilities like Wi-Fi, laboratories, classrooms, and a library are very good. The food quality is better. Hostel facilities are average in this college. Medical facilities are provided. Sports are average in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Our course curriculum is not prepared for the industry. Semester exams are difficult and they conduct exams very strictly. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I opted for this course because of my passion. All students get internships and all facilities are available. Our campus is huge.
