Satisfactory but there is some scope for improvement regarding the placements.

Placements: The placements at RKGIT were average. 70% students got placed through the campus placements. The packages provided by the companies were decent. Main placements were achieved in the IT and the software sectors. The highest salary package offered was Rs. 15 L/annum and the average offer was Rs. 3.2 L/annum.

Not satisfied how the conditions of the college are worsening from last few years

Placements: Placements have been decreasing for past few years. Not many big companies are visiting the campus like previous years. Companies have been very much choosy in picking out the candidates. Overall, placements are dull. Students have to unwillingly sit in non-technical companies for getting placements. The placement cell doesn't have any relationship with the mass recruiters.

Good infrastructure but no on-campus placements in 2013.

Placements: The college did not provide any placement opportunities for us as well as for our seniors. Most of the students are placed by off-campus drives in MNCs such as Infosys, Dell, Accenture, Sapient and many others. Many students got offers from many foreign companies and they got a very attractive package.

The honest review of RKGIT.

Placements: If I talk about placement for computer science branch, it's neither good nor bad. Even though placements are not good, computer science and IT branch can get a job. I rate the college placement as 4 out of 10.

Overall good college and also heading in the right direction with improved placements.

Placements: Placements for the senior batch as well as for my batch were pretty good with almost 80% of students getting placed. The average package was around 2.4 lakhs, with 1.2 lakhs and 6 lakhs being the lowest and highest packages respectively. Around 30-40% of students joined the company as an intern with 1.8 lakhs as the average package offered.

One of the good private colleges in AKTU and NCR.

Placements: The college only calls CS or IT companies. Although 40% students are placed but in software or sales fields. The highest package was 6 lac. 4-8 lacs were also offered through a pool campus. The lowest package is around 1,20,000. No companies of civil, electrical or ECE have come. Few mechanical, companies with very low package have come, the average package was around 2 lac to 3 lac. The quality of placement has gone worse than before. But the number of placement has increased. No mass recrui...

Not satisfied, worst college.

Placements: No core branch came for placements. Maximum off campus recruitments. Selection ratio off-campus was 2/400. IT and CS placements were good. TPO cell was not cooperative. A few students were placed. The highest salary was of 6 CTC, lowest was 8k per month and the average salary was 12-15k per month. TCS and Motherson visited the campus. Core profiles were not offered. Internships from the college was nil.

RKGIT needs much more improvement in infrastructure and placements.

Placements: My college is average in placements and average salary offered is about Rs.20,000 per month, the highest package is 6 lakhs per annum. And till today no one crossed the highest placement which goes to CSE branch. Only when someone is good in their field, the low salary is offered as Rs.15,000 per month, and for others branches overall it is average in terms of placement.

Try to find non AKTU college. Try to place AKTU college as your last option.

Placements: Placement was very hard because practical knowledge of students is 0. The college focusses only on theory and marks no practical, no company visit, no lab. Teachers are not well qualified for this level of course. Our mechanical HOD is the worst person in the college. Books are also not available in the library for the whole strength of students.

Starting from the Management of my college, which is average but they do pay proper attention to the studies. Management is strict regarding students’ attendance. They are not very encouraging or supportive towards sports. In each department, there is a mix of faculty members, out of which some are good and some have little knowledge of their subjects. The laboratories are good in our college. The hostel is Wi-Fi enabled but it is limited to 2 GB/week.

IT department of the college has turned to hell. There are many better colleges than this in UPTU. This College was great 5-6 years back and that's the reason I joined it. But now it's being ruined by the faculties. So, if you have a rank around 15-30 thousand then there are many better colleges than this. I just passed my final year from this college and my advice would be to go for other colleges like KIET ,galgotias.

Our faculty is good. And they are always ready to help students, except a few of them. Management is also average. The campus is good or we can say that it is average, the placement cell is very good of college, and maximum students of computer science, information technology branch as well as electronics & communication branch are placed in good companies. But the placements for mechanical and electrical branch are not so good.

This college comes under UPTU College. So, it an average ranked college. Placement is not as good as other college like KITS, JP Noida and JSS. If you get a rank of 8000 to 15000 in UPTU entrance exam then you can choose this college but if you’ve got good rank then go for JSS, KITE because these college are good in case of place of placement and level of education.

Firstly, don’t trust the information given on the college site. It’s all fake. There is no world class infrastructure nor a college which we dream or desire to go. Level of studies is nor too good nor too bad. Placement is OK. If you choose CS, it then you can dream for college placement otherwise you should not. Campus life is boring. And yes. It’s totally ragging free college i.e. there is no ragging in the college or outside hostel facilities is good but on the other side the hostel mess suck...

RKGIT is the best college for engineering in NCR. Particularly, mechanical and electrical depts. are among the best in NCR. There are lots of activities for overall personality development. The only negative point is that it has dress code which students normally does not prefer. Faculty is good and supportive. But the college fest is not up to the mark.

There is no such good thing about this college as it is affiliated to UPTU and everyone knows how good a college affiliated to UPTU is. I would recommend this college or any college of UPTU as the last option to anyone who are willing to pursue engineering.

The college has a cloud campus cell. It has the facility of cloud computing and also has 3 labs and a library. However, it doesn't have good books, since they are too old. The campus is small. The college location is in Garhigaon, Ghaziabad. Here, outside and within the mess, the facility of food is too poor, although you get good quality food at old bus stand (15 min from college). There are a few teachers (2 or 3 teachers only) who teach nicely and the rest of faculty doesn't teach well. Ou...

If you are someone who wants to learn skills, then don't take admission there.

Placements: If you are looking for a college where you can get placed easily and earn 10-12 LPA, then I don't think you should take admission in this college because the peer group matters a lot. There are people who don't want to put in the effort, except for some. You should go where you can find a good peer group.

Placements: Around 50% of students got placed in this college. The lowest package offered was 3 LPA, and the highest package was 6 LPA. Internships are not quite good.

I am dissatisfied with the placements.

Placements: Placements were not good. Most of the good brands were invited by our college for off-campus placements. At least the students from CSE somehow got placed in the off-campus companies also. Roles offered primarily were content writer, BPO and sales. Technical roles were not offered. CSE and IT were the only branches to have more placements. The rest of the students were almost unplaced.
