I have joined REC College through management. This college will be somewhat free than other college, good faculty and placements are most welcomed towards IT field and rare in Core Company’s. they will conduct campus training for students to get prepare for interviews and aptitude exams.

The World Needs You. The Mechanical Engineering Department is cool with a lot of supportive staff. Facilities are decent. Food was not that great, don’t know how it is now. Hostel was nice according to some hostel friends. Academic wise, it’s the same as every other college in Anna University. Teachers do give some additional notes if you ask. Buses are nice. The 1 hour journey is something you look forward to once you get used to the travel time. You’ll find 4 years going in a flash. All th...

The college has good infrastructure but it is maintained properly. There will not be proper response from the department and the administration. The money of the students has been wasted with some staff who play politics in students’ life. The college provides good placement opportunities to the engineering candidates but it fails in the case of MBA. Only a few faculty members are fully qualified.

Friendly staff in the mechanical department who encourages innovative ideas. Good and decent labs that backup mechanical department in automobile, shop floor practices, aeronautical, robotics. Infrastructure could be better in aspects of creativity and knowledge sharing. Mostly of the department follows school type of education. Alumni club is small.

Raja Lakshmi Engineering College is a really good choice for under graduation. The quality of teaching is very good, teachers are also very helpful and friendly. There are a lot of workshops, seminars conducted by the college itself which make learning interesting. There is Atrium the literary club, a debating club and a rotary club wing at the college. There will be continuous assessments throughout the semester whose cumulative scores will be the internal marks. Food and transport aren't not c...

The infrastructure of the college will be good but the facilities like canteen and bus will not up to the mark. It's worth for doing B.E. but for MBA it’s not worthy because there some staff do politics in students’ life and also, they award internal marks only to the student who are close to them.

It is as usual another Anna university college. So you can figure it out that campus is okay. This college is suitable for book worms not for people who want to improve their knowledge. If you have money you can join it, spend your time in the campus otherwise go for some other college which has less fees.

Very good college with good infrastructure, there are many industry level initiatives like Tifac core, baja car competition and many other tech fests to improve the growth of each and every student. Another good initiative is campus interview training program for 3rd year students, it really gives the exposure to the students to the students, even the students from rural areas can know the up to date industry and how to move further in their career. It’s a very good college. College hosts three fests and there’s a choice of clubs & activities for all round development. Attendance is strict. Academically, if you manage your time well, you can do well. Teachers are good but not great. Students are extremely friendly. There are many places to relax. Films are screened occasionally in the auditorium. Being a centrally funded institute, college fees is lower than all comparable institutes. Almost all big companies come for campus placements.

Good college to study at, will make the person excel in all the aspects of life and also will help him / her to find her own career instead of pushing them into a single contained world of IT. They help in interpersonal skill and also making the person socially aware and also will help in making them pursue their dreams, though they are strict in hostel but gives permission for sports activities, it’s always a fun to get those OD forms signed up. It’s a good College with good features and a nice environment for engineering studies. The best thing about the college is if you get through with a decent score you are sure to get placed in any of the top multinational companies. There is a good hostel facility inside the campus and the faculty members are well experienced.

May not be the best college in Tamil Nadu but one of the best colleges in Chennai, I would say. 2 years since I passed out of this college but still I love to go back. Of course, it is because of friends but also, you will enjoy time with your friends only if the college gives you enough space. They gave me more than enough. And one more point to note down is that (considering the future), almost everyone I know from my class got the Job and they are happy enough. May not be satisfactory but hap...

Good for its infrastructure and the steps taken for imparting knowledge to students. Could have provided more reputed placements. Staffs are good and are ready to help always. Have all facilities from sports to studies. Students can become an entrepreneurs, salaried or unemployed but it's all in their hands on how they utilise the facilities.

Rajalakshmi Engineering College popularly known as REC is best for its Placements. It’s hard to get out from our college without getting placed. Coming to Aeronautical in REC, infrastructure is comparatively good. All the Lab Facilities are available with latest equipment’s. Faculties with PhD in Composites and Propulsion are there in the department to guide the students to do Innovations apart from the course. Teaching is good except few New teachers that too for few subjects we can't blame the...

Our college is neither this nor that in case of discipline. The placement record of college is good for software students. Main recruiter is TCS. Chance of getting placed in Core Company is less. The most depressing thing about this college is their rules and regulations. Formals are too much of care taken by staff which could be plus point for few. Campus and crowd is excellent. Placements are average. It’s not a bad college, it’s a great one. One more disadvantage is that it is located way outside the city of Chennai, so travelling to college becomes hectic.

College is suitable for people who can do self-studies very well, and college atmosphere is different than what you expect. I recommend this college because the faculty will be helpful in the innovative ideas that we deliver to them, but the fact is that we have to get an average score in exams to withstand the stress.
