Our college provides good placements but does not have value for money.

Placements: Placements are provided with salary packages of 3 LPA - 5 LPA in our course. Top recruiting companies are IT companies. Many projects are offered in our department in which students can join. Faculty members help students. Our college provides good placements in IT companies.

Our college provides good placements based on your studies. It is the best college for day scholars.

Placements: Placements are excellent if you work hard in your core mechanical field. CS and IT students are placed if they have no standing arrears. They provide 100% placement for IT branches. About 80% of students get placements in core branches. Placements are based on your studies. You must have a good CGPA. For the mechanical branch, around 100 to 150 companies are coming for placements. Daimler is coming for placements, which is one of the top automobile companies.

Really good placements in REC in 2022.

Placements: About 70 to 80 percent students were placed and some dropped their placements in order to pursue higher education. The packages vary from 3 LPA to 7 LPA. Complies like TCS, CTS and Wipro come for recruitment. About 80% of my friends got internship in good companies.

It is absolutely the best college in Chennai.

Placements: I am a 2022 passed-out graduate. There are more placements from top MNCs and core placements from BOSCH, L&T, Hyundai, etc. TCS recruited more students than any other MNCs. The average salary package offered can be 4.5 LPA. Accenture, CTC, Infosys, and HCL are major visitors for this college.

Review of Rajalakshmi Engineering College.

Placements: 90% of students who opted for placements got placed on campus. The highest package is 12 Lacs per annum from Flipkart, and the lowest package was 3 Lacs per annum. TCS, CTS, Wipro, Accenture, Zoho, Zifo, etc., come here. I'm not sure about it. But many got into international internships, and the college provides the necessary support.

Our college is good placement-wise but bad in other categories.

Placements: At first, the companies used to come, and you would attend their various rounds conducted by them, and at the end, TCS would come, and they would hire a lump number of students who had not been placed in any other company. Almost every student will be placed in some company (this is for IT background departments). For other departments, it is somewhat more difficult.

The college has good infrastructure and faculty members, and I had the best college life.

Placements: Students with above 7 CGPA can get placed. But students with arrears cannot get placed. The highest package offered is above 50,000 by core and above 30,000 by IT companies. The top recruiting companies are TCS, L&T, Amazon etc. Moreover, every student gets an internship.

Overall, the experience in the college is good.

Placements: REC has a good placement record amidst the pandemic. But as an aeronautical student, I would rate it just a 3 on 5 as you don't get any core companies to recruit you. You will anyway be placed in an IT which will have no relevance to what you have studied in all 4 years.

Go for it and don't go if you have to pay lump donations.

Placements: I didn't attend any placements yet. But I have heard that placements are good in this college. I don't know exactly about the salary packages offered. But there are few core companies that are actually recruiting students and they get placed well with good salary too.

It is a good college for academics and career. But for the fun aspect, not a good place to go on.

Placements: Placements were one of the good things about our college. More than 90% of students were placed, and on average around 85-90% of students got placed. Top IT companies like TCS, Infosys, etc visit our campus to hire students. The average salary package offered ranges from 2 LPA - 3.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA.

Our college has a good infrastructure, faculty members, and placements.

Placements: During the beginning of the final year itself, we were given proper training on aptitude and language. This was a great boon to us to attend the interviews. We have ample time and practice given for understanding each company visiting us, and that was an advantage.

Placements: I am pursuing mechanical engineer final year. In our batch nearly 60% to 70% eligible students get placed. The highest package here is 8 LPA. Mostly everyone focus on IT companies. TCS is the top recruiter. For some companies the internship has started.
