Not satisfied with the faculty members' knowledge, but having a good placement when self-learned.

Placements: 80% get placed. The highest: 24 LPA, the lowest: 2.5 LPA. TCS, Accenture, Infosys, etc. Some might be very new startups. 30% of students make an internship, but most of the people don't do any internships. Companies for internships might be BNY, Goldman Sachs, etc. Software developer, finance officer.

Our college is good placement-wise but bad in other categories.

Placements: At first, the companies used to come, and you would attend their various rounds conducted by them, and at the end, TCS would come, and they would hire a lump number of students who had not been placed in any other company. Almost every student will be placed in some company (this is for IT background departments). For other departments, it is somewhat more difficult.

Placements are good, but infrastructure and courses are not good.

Placements: I am from the 2019 batch of the biotech course. Almost 70% of the students got placements in our department, and the average salary package offered is 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Wipro, CTS and Zoho. Many final-year students get two job offers, and they are deciding which company they want to work for. Getting into core companies is tough.

A good college. Nice campus. Quality of education isn't bad.

Placements: 80% of the students are placed. Maximum package offered in IT field was around 9LPA. Some of the recruiters are Zoho, Infosys, Hyundai, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Ashok Leyland, Ernst And Young, BYJUs, Renault-Nissan, etc. The students who are placed are currently pursuing Internships at the same companies. Most of the roles offered to the students are Data Analyst posting.

Not a great college but not the worst one either.

Placements: Placements at REC, Thandalam is quite above average compared to the placements offered by other Anna University affiliated colleges in Tamil Nadu. Some regular recruiters are TCS, Ashok Leyland, Zoho, Amazon, Verizon among others. The highest placement offer for the batch of 2013-2017 was offered by Voonik technologies for Rs.14 Lacs p. a. The speciality of REC when it comes to placements is the employability training camp conducted by the placement cell of the college, the details of which can ...

Choose Rajalakshmi Because the world needs you.

Placements: Very dedicated placement cell alloted by college to get us placed in reputed companies. They care about us sincerely to get placed in core companies. The salary package offered were at par or even better than industry standards. Even students with arrears got opportunities.

REC is good, but aeronautical department is not.

Placements: The placements are good compared to many other private colleges, Wipro, TCS, IBM, John, BYJUs, Sutherland and TVS. The packages from 2 Lacs per annum to 10 Lacs per annum are offered. The placement department tries the best to make everyone gets placed in an IT company, not all get placed in core field. Good placements are there for IT and CSE students, for others, it is not much. The college people are not open-minded and don't respect the opinion of students too.

It was fun, but bad not too great compared to other top colleges.

Placements: The placements were really good. But, the number of people placed was really less compared to the number of students that the final year batch had. The placements weren't that great as 80% of the students don't get placed.

The infrastructure of the college will be good but the facilities like canteen and bus will not up to the mark. It's worth for doing B.E. but for MBA it’s not worthy because there some staff do politics in students’ life and also, they award internal marks only to the student who are close to them.

It is as usual another Anna university college. So you can figure it out that campus is okay. This college is suitable for book worms not for people who want to improve their knowledge. If you have money you can join it, spend your time in the campus otherwise go for some other college which has less fees.

The capitation fee was reasonable most of school friends joined this college thus we had a great crowd of friends. Our campus life was similar to our school life we made lot of fun. Our college is neither this nor that in case of discipline. The placement record of college is good for software students. Main recruiter is TCS. Chance of getting placed in Core Company is less. Campus facilities are very low compared to other college. Canteen in our college can’t manage the crowd. Quality of fo...

I am satisfied with the bus facility but dissatisfied with online classes.

Infrastructure: In our college, low-quality food is served, and the hostel rooms are average. They charge for washing clothes, and they allow only one day for an outing. In that outing also, students should reach the hostel before 4 pm. They arrange an outing on different days for girls and boys during hostel timings. After 1st year, students are allotted with rooms which will have common bathroom and restrooms.

Top placement opportunities .

Placements: When it comes to placements rajalakshmi engineering college has its own fame. Mostly 60% to 70% of students get placed while others opt for their Masters degree. According to the department of computer Science the recruiting companies are quite a large in number.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, no placements .

Placements: I'm student of first year so I don't know much about the placements but seniors and teacher told that the placements are really satisfying. Nearly 10-12 companies are coming for placements. I hope I will get placement from one of the top companies.

It is good at everything but can improve faculty members teaching.

Placements: Internships provided will be based on marks. Students with more than 75% will be getting a course at REC. Reputed companies will be visiting here for campus recruitment. Students can study well and can also enjoy their campus life. Apart from biomedical engineering, other departments are also valuable.
