It is a perfect college for pursuing engineering.
Placements: Around 80% of students were placed in my college in 2022. I myself was placed in a total of six MNCs. Top roles offered were software developer, analyst, and executive. The highest salary package in my college offered was 10 LPA at that time for an entry-level job. It was a blast during placements.
Infrastructure: Our college had all the required infrastructure. There were libraries and separate bookshelves for all departments. Labs were equipped with recent appliances. There was a cool canteen, and sports culture group used to conduct various games. Anyone with a non-sports background could also participate.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable. They used to teach everything and give us timely assistance and assignments so that we could learn and practice at same time. Semesters were quite difficult as our college was non-autonomous and exams were set by the University itself. Apart from all these things, I managed to get an aggregate of 90% in engineering.
Other: I chose computer science as my stream because I wanted to learn programming and pursue it in my career.

Infrastructure: In our college, the canteen food was good.
Faculty: In our college, teaching was good.
Other: Our college conducted extracurricular activities. They provided scholarships. Our college events were so good, we enjoyed every moment. I recommend going to this college.

    Our college provides good placements.
Placements: Placements are good in this college. Around 70-80% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Global Logic, Atos System, TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Zensar, Birlasoft, Capgemini, Jade Global, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. There are many sports activities in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, and they are very supportive. They are very interactive with students. Semester exams are also difficult but students can score good marks if they study properly.
Other: In this college, cultural fests are also conducted.

Our college is good in academics with well-qualified faculty and good placements every year.
Placements: About 60-70% of the students get placed every year. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered ranges from 7-8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Infosys, eInfochips, Amazon, Vedantu, Byju's, etc., visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities in our department are better. The availability of labs, classrooms and a library is in a proper way for every particular subject. Particular labs are available, and there is not like 2 or 3 practicals are going in one lab at the same period of time. Quality and quantity of the food are served to the students in the proper environment. Good medical facilities are available. A variety of sports and games are also available here.
Faculty: Teaching staff members are good. They clear all our doubts at any time. They are always ready to help us. They are qualified, and the quality of teaching staff members teach us. They give their best to understands us properly, and they explain every single point. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready.

I am dissatisfied with faculty members.
Placements: All branches have a very poor placement record except for CSE, but that not mean if you take CSE, you will get placed. The CSE department has average placements where the highest salary package varies from 1.5 LPA to 3 LPA. Companies that came to our campus are Zensar and HCL. On the other hand, internship opportunities here are very poor. You have to make efforts on your own for internships and off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average and not that good. Many sports are not organised here. Most of the students play football and cricket. Our college hostels are average. There are no Wi-Fi facilities for students. The library is decent, and enough books are available here. Overall, it is an average tier-3 college.
Faculty: Faculty members of the CSE department are average but not that good. I suggest not to expect much. You have to complete most of the concepts on your own. You also have to maintain attendance criteria because it is considered important here. There is no coding culture or any other sports or any webinar about higher education.
Other: The campus of RGCER is not that big, but I like it. There are a lot of improvements needed in the course. Most of the faculty members are newly joined here and inexperienced.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2017

    3Placements5Infrastructure3Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall, students of 2017 batch had a good experience, decent placements and good infrastructure.
Placements: Placements were fine in our college. I got placed in a company which visited our campus to offer placements. Our college claims that it provides 100% placements at the time of joining, but it provides placements to approximately 85% of the students. The highest salary package offered here was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Most of us got an average salary package of 3 LPA. Reputed companies like L&T, TCS, Infosys, FedEx, etc., visit our college. From 2017 batch, most of the students got placed. Students from the electronics and telecommunication branch got placed in the core engineering field as well as in BPOs. Software companies like Infosys and TCS also hired students from here.
Infrastructure: There were a good computer lab, sports facilities and a library for us. Hostels were very clean and well maintained, but there were no air-conditioners in classrooms during our tenure. The internet facility was provided by our college, and its speed was fast. Hostel rooms had air-conditioners and other facilities like cool water and cleaning. I heard that the food served in the hostel was not good. Our college building looks good from the outside, and the playground was also good.
Faculty: Some teachers here were rude, but most of them were helpful. They were well qualified, but their teaching style was not up to the mark. The course curriculum was excellent, so because of that only, we got placed and are currently working. We are provided with industrial training, and the lab sessions conducted here are good so that we can become more industry-ready. Lab faculty members are really helpful, and they will also help you with the project.
Other: Our campus was good, and it was near to my house, so I have chosen it. Our college has a reputation in Nagpur, and students from Nagpur and nearby areas study here. The gym was really awesome, and the best part of our college is that there is a language lab which helps students to improve their communication skills. I think that our college should change the syllabus. Studies get boring after a while, and the same teachers teach us in every semester. So, our college should hire more teachers.
