Very few good teachers are present in the college, and many departments are closed now.
Placements: Many students got placed, but into the BPO companies. The highest salary package offered is 10.2 LPA in a marketing company, and some students got placed in BYJUS with a salary package of 10 LPA. Very few students got placed in technical background companies such as TCS, Syntel etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good enough, which can be rated as 8 out off 10. Wi-Fi is provided on campus, but with a limited amount of data is given to students every day. Labs provided by the department are very good with each student having a computer to operate.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and very helpful. But only a few teachers are present in the college now due to fewer admissions in 1st year. Only CSE and IT department are running well. All other departments will be closed as they are just covering the final batch.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and no practical knowledge. Poor placements in 2015.
Placements: The college placement is seriously poor. Very few people were placed. Many students didn't even get a chance for placements. In a class of 60 students, only below ten students were placed. Maximum of those who were placed got a poor job profile. Even they invited a BPO for placements. The highest package offered was 3.5 LPA. And only one company offered this package. The lowest package as of now I remember was 1.5 LPA. Overall, the campus placements are very poor.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. There is a separate lab for each practical. The college building is also not that bad. There is no Wi-Fi facility available in the college campus. Classrooms are good. At my time, college canteen was not that good. Food quality was not good and very few things were available.
Faculty: Some teachers were really good but only a few of them. Others just had an average teaching quality. Some teachers were coming to class to teach only first bench students. According to theory perspective, the teaching was good, but in case of practical knowledge like coding and development work, the teaching quality was poor. The colleges should really provide practical knowledge.
Other: The college fest was good. Campus surrounding is better now as I visited the college recently.

The ground reporting of RGCER alias (NYSS).
Placements: The placements in our college for the batch of 2017 were not good. Most of the companies profile was for either BPO or KPO. The maximum number of students got placed where any graduate was allowed. Only 5% of the students got placed in good blue Chip companies. There were very limited opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college (NYSSA knew) is good. The college management is taking lots of efforts and focusing on improving the infrastructure. The management takes meetings and solves the infrastructure problem for the students. The classrooms and labs of the college are neat.
Faculty: The faculty and course curriculum of the college is just average or below. Every college has some good faculty and some not so good at teaching although they have lots of knowledge. The college also had this issue. About curriculum, the college can't be blamed as it follows the university, but the curriculum is outdated and has zero chance of gaining practical knowledge.
Other: The college provides a platform and gives full freedom to students in organizing technical as well as non-technical events.

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: In the computer technology department, there are around 70 to 80% placements. There are good companies coming to the campus. You can also go for off-campus placements with your professors' guidance. Companies from all sectors visit the campus with lucrative offers. Finally, it's your credibility that will earn you a placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in Rajiv Gandhi College is extremely good. It has a big library having n number of books for all the departments. It is of a great help to anyone who wants to study silently. The canteen is always bustling with super excited students. It has one of the most elaborate menus for the students.
Faculty: The faculty in this college is extremely cooperative with a great sense of industrial knowledge. They put in all their efforts to get you all the input. They guide you throughout the curriculum. They are always ready to give feedback and valuable guidance to all the interested students.

Overall, the quality and performance of my college are average.
Placements: I completed my BE in 2015. I got only 2 campus offers and those were with a very low salary. Therefore, it was like I got no placement. All the students have to go to YCC for campus placements. In 2015, in my class of 70 students, only 13 got placed. Only small companies came for placement.
Infrastructure: All rooms, labs, gallery, and canteen are good but not excellent. The quality of food is average. No hostel rooms. A bad play ground. Wi-Fi is good. Indoor games are not provided by the college. We have to go to YCC for playing indoor games. But overall, the quality of the college is average. There's no grass on the playground. During rainy days, it gets muddy, so we can't play football. Also, the path from the main road to the college is not good.
Faculty: The faculty members and all HODs have a good knowledge about their subjects. Good teaching methods. All students give good feedback during the semester end and all the teachers are available to help the students. During my period of college, the interaction between the students and the faculty are good. From 2015 to now, overall interaction has increased.
Other: Overall, the performance of the college is average but I have to say that if you have low marks then it is the best college for you. I must say that if you are looking for an average college, this is the best they've got in Nagpur. YCC is also a good college but as compared to my college, it is for good students. So if you want an admission in YCC, then work hard.
