Technical but not actually Technical.
Placements: Students with above 60% are placed in my course. The highest package offered in our course is 240000 and the lowest is 120000. Companies like microtech, byju, and some software based companies came to college for placement. Only 1 % to 2% students got placements. Top role is Trainee Engineer.
Infrastructure: Our college had good facility of Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library but the faculty provided is so discussing. So unsatisfied from college side as it is a government college and they only see their future not students. I do not have any hate feelings towards my college, but truth is truth. Not all the faculty is bad as some of teachers are good, but negative things hide all good things.
Faculty: Teaching quality is not good. The teacher only teach us how to got pass in exams. But we have no technical knowledge instead. The labs had good infrastructure but we cannot use any machine their, because the faculty also do not have technical knowledge. I think my 4 years degree is a watse of time.

It is a decent college, but there are more good options.
Placements: Our college is new, so the placements are not that good. But efforts are being made by the administration toward this. One of our seniors got placed in a non-technical field. He was a bright student, and seeing him go through this disappoints me.
Infrastructure: Our college receives funds from time to time, so the infrastructure is quite good. There is a nice and systematic partition of branches, lecture theatres, labs, etc. But there is one huge problem, the playground is not present.
Faculty: Exams are like they are in other universities, but they could have been more creative. But the system is to blame for that. Faculty members are also supportive and nice, with a mix of experienced and younger ones. On the other hand, there are some professors who demotivate students. So it's a mix of all kinds of colleges.

Spent meaningful days in RGGEC (2020-2024).
Placements: I joined the course with approximately 65 total students. The highest offer during placement is approximately 3.5 lakh with minimal companies offering placements. Companies offer internship opportunities, but the students are not paid for them. The college is not good for placement. Placement depends upon Himachal Pradesh Technical University. If they allow for it, the companies may offer placements.
Infrastructure: When it comes to infrastructure, it is very good as the whole building is newly built. All facilities like the library, canteen, playground, and labs are well-furnished with all equipment. There are also hostel facilities for both boys and girls, but with less capacity for only 1st and 2nd-year students. The canteen facility is inside the campus, and the food stuff there tastes good.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful in studies. The curriculum is well-designed and makes the students up-to-date and ready for the industry. Semester exams are conducted by HPTU Hamirpur, and exams are moderately tough. It is neither so easy nor so tough. The average pass percentage there is approximately 70-80 percent every semester.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in engineering. According to my experience, the best thing about the course is the time when I went to the industry for the internship. It makes you aware and educated about all the equipment used in the electrical engineering field and converts all theoretical knowledge into the real world. We celebrate the annual fest named TAKSHILA every year, and we have a lot of options to participate in different activities like dance, singing, acting, etc. There is a scholarship option available for the students of ST, SC, OBC, and EWS, which is offered by NSP.

I think our college is not the best but also not the worst.
Placements: There are not many placements here, but they are improving day by day. Reputed companies never visit here. Only a few students get selected even if companies visit. Overall, out of 10 stars, I will give 4 stars for placements.
Infrastructure: Hostels are available only to girls and first-year boys. Buildings are still under construction, and I hope we will get them before our graduation. Overall, out of 10 stars, I will give 5 stars to the college.
Faculty: Teachers are pretty good here. They conduct pretty hard exams, and examination arrangements are good. So, overall, out of 10 stars, I will give 7 stars. But I think there is still scope for improvement.

It is a very beautiful campus surrounded by the beauty of nature.
Placements: Our college is not situated close to the industrial area, so very few companies show their interest, and they select students with very low packages. The percentage of students placed is very low, between 5-8%. The average package is about 3-4 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities provided by the college are quite appreciable. Wi-Fi facilities are provided, so students can access the internet throughout the campus. Classrooms are equipped with proper ventilation, AC and lighting facilities. Labs have proper color code and machines. There is an issue regarding the library because the size is compact (very less seating arrangement).
Faculty: Teachers are extremely well-qualified in their fields. They have proper knowledge about the subjects, and they have a good teaching experience. The course curriculum is not much effective in making students industry-ready. Semester examinations are not much difficult. The pass percentage is about 40%.
