It is not IIT level college, but it provides opportunities for deserving and passionate students.

In the previous year, the average salary package offered in our course is 4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 14 LPA. For IT students, the highest package salary was offered by Google, Facebook, Paytm and many other companies. The highest salary package offered is 53 LPA.

Great student exposure and experience but lower placement packages, standards and curriculum.

Placements: Nearly everyone got placed from our college who applied for placements. The highest package was around 19 LPA whereas the lowest was nearly 2.8 LPA with average package being 3.8-4.2 LPA varying every year but not crossing that range. The top recruiters include JSW, Amazon, cognizant, etc. Internships are a part of the course hence every student completes atleast one internship during the course. Most of them complete their internships in HAL, NAL, BHEL, BEML, Toyota, Ace and many more.

Review of Ramaiah Institute of Technology.

Placements: The college provides good placements, but getting placed in the core companies is tough. However, you will get placed in at least one company. Extracurricular activities help a lot to get placed. The college has a separate department for placements and also conduct training sessions for placements.

Review of Ramaiah Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placement rates are pretty good from August to January, but they decreased during April and March. Only a few core companies visit the campus. Students should prepare from the initial days of their course to get placed in core companies. However, the possibility of getting placed in a core company is low. To get placed in companies with a software background, one must have minimum knowledge of coding in one of the programming languages like C, C++, Python Script, Java.

Our college maintains a proper balance between studies and enjoyment.

Placements: Most of the students from our batch got placed in service sector companies like Accenture and Wipro, but a very few students got placed in core companies like ABB, Bosch, etc. Very less number of core companies visit here for placements and also offer very less salary packages. However, every student got a job here, and none of the students passed out unplaced.

Placements: I got placed in L&T. Only 3-4 core companies visited the campus to recruit BE candidates. L&T offered the highest salary package and it was around 5 LPA. The other companies offered very low salary packages. Most of the civil students, including me, had to try with mass recruiters such as Infosys, Accenture, etc. The college did not help students officially to get internships, and such a policy does not exist. We had to try for internships through our own contacts. Most of us ended up doing inte...

Ramaiah is an abode of education.

Placements: Our college promised placements for students with packages between 5 LPA to 6 LPA. One can say that the college truly delivered its word. All kinds of placement related amenities like pre-placement offers, internships, 0-day placements and even the highest package reaching as high as 8 LPA, and a lot of mass recruiters could be seen.
