It is a good college when compared to other colleges like RV,PESIT.

Placements: About 30 to 40 percent placement was done in the whole Ramaiah. There are 100 percent placements in software branches. We have placement and entrepreneurship department. Also, they teach us how to select for the campus. The highest package offered was 50 lakhs per annum in the last year.

A very good college to enjoy. A good atmosphere for studies.

Placements: I think the placements are very good. I see many companies coming every day. Most of the students are placed. Around 96% are placed this year up till now and still, there are companies visiting. I think we should not be worried about the placements because everything is going well.

It satisfies all the aspects which are needed for a good college

Placements: Placements are really nice. Even as an average student, you will be placed in a good company. If you work a little hard, you will be placed in a very good company and if you are a nerd, you may get an annual salary of 10 lakhs too. Many renowned companies such as Amazon, Bosch and sometimes even Flipkart has arrived for college placements. Infosys and Wipro are mass recruiters as always. Cisco also comes for placement almost every year.

Really good infrastructure and campus

Placements: I am doing 2nd year MBA and it seems to be going well. Our senior batch got 15 companies. They provide training for students having training and development programmes to improve students ability to face interviews. The placement department is always supportive for students and they are very much concerned about students regarding their placements.

Good placements at Ramaiah Institute of Technology

Placements: Special talks and classes have been conducted to students to face interviews and recruitment. About 80% of our seniors have got placed in different IT companies. Students have to compulsorily do internships so that they can get exposure to industrial knowledge.

Good college environment and infrastructure

Placements: The computer science department is very good in the college. This college has different departments and the most placements are for that department. The highest package is 28 lacs annually, the minimum package is 2.5 lacs and the average package is 5 lacs annually. The maximum companies which came for the civil department were with a package of 2-5 lacs annually. Only about 30% of the students got placed. The roles offered were software developer. Very less people were offered internships. ...

A good college and good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are very good. The placements are good for information science and computer science departments, and one or two core companies come for other branches. There are about 70% of the students who have got placed. The highest package was 28 lacs and the lowest was 2.5 lacs. The average was 5 lacs annually. Companies like Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, L&T, Mu Sigma, etc. hired students. The IT companies take almost 50 students at a time. There are less internships offered to the...

Placements: The placements are really good for branches like computer science and information science branches in which maximum students have bagged the maximum package offers. About 70% of the batch has got placed. The highest package was 28 lacs annually offered by Amazon and the lowest is 2.5 lacs annually. The average is 3.5 lacs annually. If you are interested in extracurricular activities, MSRIT is a good place to be at in Bangalore

Placements: Placements in my batch were pretty decent, especially for CSE, ISE and a few other circuit branches. As for non-circuit branches, a bunch of mechanical related companies recruited the students. The highest salary offered was around 20Lpa. The lowest offered was 2Lpa.

Good infrastructure and ambience.

Placements: The placements were good for most of the main branches like computer science and information science. When it comes to the branches like civil, mechanical, biotechnology, the number of core companies was very less and so the average package was less (up to 5 lacs annually). The highest was 28 lacs, which one student got. Most of the people got placed in IT companies like Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant, Mu-Sigma. Internships were offered to very few people (about 25% of the students). ...

Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Cognizant are the companies that take almost 50 students at a time giving most of the students a chance. Very less people get internship offers.

MSRIT chemical engineering review

Placements: There are not many core companies for campus placements. Mass recruiters visit the campus in 7th semester and most of them will be placed. Syngene and Asian Paints are the core companies that visited. Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant and Wipro are the mass recruiters visiting the campus. Honeywell, Bechemical and JSW had students register but they didn't visit the campus. There were no internships offered for chemical engineering students.

A very decent experience at M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology

Placements: I honestly didn't sit for campus recruitment. The placements from IT companies were of course happening but disappointingly, the core companies bailed out on us this year. Hardly, two or three companies to count were in the campus to offer us jobs with special conditions. The salaries varied from 2.5 LPA - 5.5 LPA.

Placements: The placements are very good for branches like computer science and information technology with highest packages in Amazon ranging up to 28 lakhs last year for a computer science student. The lowest salary has ranged to 2.5 lakhs per annum even. Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture are the companies who pick up the maximum number of people of about 50 at a stretch. Business analyst and software developer jobs were provided. Very few people were offered an internship in the companies and only a f...

Good institute for a competent student.

Placements: Placement opportunities are average. For IT students, the chances are more whereas the non-IT students must depend on luck. The majority are placed in mass recruiter companies but only a few join. There are only 15-20% chances for non-IT students to get placed here.

M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology is the top college.

Placements: The placement in core is not that good. Only 20% or less students got placed in core companies. The highest salary was offered by L&T at 5.5 lacs per annum. L&T selected a total of 7 students out of 150. Approximately 50% students got placed through mass recruiters and their average salary was 4 lacs per annum. Placements are not a tough task here if you don't want them in the core field. 20% students didn't take a job and opted for higher studies. The college doesn't help you to get any interns...

Good placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: If you are waiting for core companies, then the college wouldn't help you in finding the firm. However, the HOD helps you to get placed in a core company. Apart from core, the mass recruiters also recruit. Overall, I would say it has a good placement but only if you are skilled enough.

What to expect from MSRIT

Placements: Well, talking about the placements, they are pretty good. The college boasts of Rs. 5.5 lakhs per annum as the average package. Around 95% students got placed. Many people, particularly in CSE got two job offers. Google visited the campus but no one was placed. My department, telecommunications, got barred from sitting in companies like Google but yes, quite some good companies came for us. The lowest package was around Rs. 2.8 lakhs per annum and the highest this year was Rs. 28 lakhs per an...

Placements: The placements did go well. I have been placed well and am working in a good company. Around 60-70% were placed during our period. Highest salary was 5 LPA and the lowest was 3LPA. On an average, 4-4.5 LPA. Infosys, Dell, HP etc. visited our college. Mostly 60% got internships.
