Ramanujan College Review.
Placements: Almost 40 percent got placed. The average package is 4 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are Edushala, and Accenture. None got an internship through the college, students hunt it for themselves. The top role offered is general counselor (it's not even related to psychology, just HR work).
Infrastructure: It was all good and working. The infrastructure is really nice. This college doesn't have a hostel. The canteen and Nescafe are really good. You can go to the terrace as well during winter for good sunlight and can chill with friends, and chit-chat while eating food. Medical, sports, and games facilities are average.
Faculty: Faculty is really below average. Do not expect them to help you in any case. You'll have to do everything on your own. Hunt internships, write research papers, etc. No one is going to help. Concepts can be clarified by certain professors, but do not expect anything at all.
Other: You can get the best exposure here through societies, fests, and events.

Amazing academics, peaceful college life, decent infrastructure.
Placements: We get placement offers from time to time for everybody to apply. We get PSFs and can apply through the link, after which we have to give interviews and everything. After that, we'll know if we got selected. If not, we get more opportunities from time to time. It's decent.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nice, but there's a lot of improvement that could happen. We face network problems. Our washrooms are AMAZING. We have three canteens: one is Nescafe, the other is the main canteen, which is decent, and the third one is a smaller canteen, but they take too much waiting time. The campus is beautiful in between.
Faculty: Teachers are amazing, but they take a lot of spontaneous leaves. For instance, you might find out just two hours before class that it has been canceled. But let me assure you, Ramanujan is great in studies and highly respected. The course curriculum is also amazing and interesting.

Dissatisfied with Ramanujan College.
Placements: No students till now are placed from my course. College doesn't even provide any internships one has to go and search oneself. The internships in my course all tasks for registration charges and is unpaid. One has to do Masters then can do a certain job.
Infrastructure: There are no Wi-Fi connections for the students. Libraries has limited books. Classrooms are well maintained. Even the washrooms is hygienic. College doesn't provide their own hostels one has to find it on their own. The canteens have good food quality and their are sports societies in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful at all. In the end students have to study on their own. This course requires a lot of study even after B.A. one has to do Masters in order to do something in life. Only Bachelors degree is not sufficient for one to be a successful person. The exams were easy and one needs to have 4.5% to pass.
Other: I chose this course as I was really interested in human behaviour, mind or the mental processes. I was interested in abnormal psychology regarding the disorders. There are events or fest in my college but nobody is interested attending it. The only I want to improve about this course is that the teachers should teach students.

Alright faculty, but decent infrastructure.
Placements: Barely 60% of students obtained placements. The department is currently working on establishing an MoU with institutions, so it is not easy to get internships. People get HR gigs and counseling gigs. The students get internships in institutions such as Apollo, Lady Harding, and similar places.
Infrastructure: The Applied Psychology department has a furnished lab with AC and a variety of psychological assessment tools, inventories, and batteries. The college does not have hostels. The canteen food is quite satisfactory, and the medical facilities are sufficient. Several sports, such as cricket, volleyball, basketball, weightlifting, and football, are available.
Faculty: The teachers are fine enough. The course curriculum is interesting, very relevant, and helpful for future preparations. The exams are not that difficult as long as you are familiar with the course content. There is an above 95% pass percentage for the course.
Other: Psychology is an up-and-coming field that deeply interests me on a personal level. Our college holds a variety of events where several well-known artists are invited to perform.

An Overview of Ramanujan College Life
Placements: The college offers average placement opportunities, and students need to put in considerable effort to secure these. They often have to repeatedly contact teachers and remind them about placement opportunities, as teachers are not always cooperative.
Infrastructure: Several facilities are available at Ramanujan College. The infrastructure includes a large building with well-ventilated classrooms, a comprehensive library with a substantial collection of books, an affordable canteen, a medical room, a large playground for events and sports, and other amenities like clean drinking water and Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in providing essential resources for examinations, including notes, books, and research papers, which aid in writing good answers. The semester examinations are of a significant difficulty level and are subjective, requiring students to include in-depth and relevant data in their answers to achieve good marks.
