Home away from home.
Placements: Placement cell coordinators are selected by an interview panel, including the HOD of the Department of Psychology. Salary packages range from 25-40k. As of now, companies from Delhi NCR and other metropolitan cities are recruiting students from Jamia. Junior consulting psychologist is the highest position offered.
Infrastructure: People are selected after a rigorous interview process, and only a small percentage of students are able to pass. Facilities such as washing machines, Wi-Fi, and a library are provided. A paid gym is also available in the boys' hostel. Hostel fees are comparatively higher, and extra charges apply for students who stay during vacations without food. The quality of food is subjective, but I would rate it as average. Hostel annual days are conducted exclusively for students there.
Faculty: Qualified professors provide quality education, although the curriculum is a bit poor compared to other colleges located in Delhi. I don't think the course here makes students industry-ready. Semester exams range from moderate to tough levels but are particularly difficult when it comes to the minor degree courses and the CBCS (Choice Based Credit System).
Other: It's very good to come here when we are happy, sad, for surprises, or for celebrating success. The facilities are open even on weekends, including libraries and reading halls. The department is extraordinary when it comes to fests, always making it engaging for everyone and inclusive. Students from other states come here when they have nowhere else to go.

I am satisfied with its course structure and content with teachers.
Placements: Students do not get direct placements in this field. Few students got internships at MindTribe. There are no top recruiting companies that visit our college for recruitment. The training program is also conducted in this college for internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is good while other departments lack a lot in this. Classrooms are air-conditioned but fans are not working properly. I am a day scholar so I do not know about hostel facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They are also approachable. Internal exams are well-structured, and we give tests after finishing each unit. The course curriculum is updated.
Other: Our cultural societies are not good. Programs were not conducted due to covid. I am very satisfied with its course structure. Our college should improve its workshops and other collaborations with trusted organisations. Our college fee structure is reasonable. There is a mixed crowd on our campus.

Placements: There are currently 42 students enrolled in my course( BA psychology honors) right now. our university Offers internships and also placements. however I am not experienced in this area. Top roles offered in my course are clinical psychologist, counsellor, forensic psychologist.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my university is not so good. The classes are in bad condition but the campus is huge with all the other facilities like canteen and libraries are provided which are in good condition. I have not enrolled in the hostel yet but the canteen food is amazing.
Faculty: The faculty is great. They are welcoming, kind and approachable as well as intellectual and highly qualified for what they do specially in my course (BA psychology hons). The course offers real life experience as well because all of the events held are interactive and we get a chance to interact with the professionals as well.

I recommend Jamia Millia Islamia to you all.
Placements: There are around 55 students in our batch. Placements are after masters. There are several options for us after completing our master's, like becoming a counselor or working in the clinical field, or pursuing MHRM for those who are interested in organisational behavior.
Infrastructure: Our college facilities were excellent. The library was good. We had good labs for practicals. Hostels were low-cost and affordable. There were many canteens on campus that you could all enjoy. There were a few great dishes for you to eat, such as biryani, tawa chicken, and chicken burger.
Faculty: Most teachers were helpful. Overall, faculty members were good. The department head was excellent. Semester exams were of average difficulty level. It depended upon your preparation, as students were competitive. In the psychology department, there was no such thing as average students. All our classmates were brilliant.
Other: Campus life was excellent. One would like everything about Jamia.

It is one of the best colleges for psychology.
Placements: In psychology, placements are not given priority as everyone goes for Master's. Summer internships are compulsory, and we have to attach the report as a major part of the semester's assignment. Different subjects in different semesters and internships make sure we get to learn psychology from all aspects.
Infrastructure: Jamia Millia Islamia is one of the best in terms of infrastructure. Labs and Wi-Fi are available. The psychology department has its own library too. Hostel seats are not allotted very easily, but if you get a seat somehow, you'll have a good time there.
Faculty: From the very beginning of the course, teachers are very active, helpful, and knowledgeable. When it comes to semester exams, teachers are very strict, and you need to take the exams seriously. Most of the students study the night before the exam. You can score good SGPA easily here.
