I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: A lot of students choose to go out for studies, so they do not sit for placements, but whoever does get placed. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Deloitte, Accenture, Genpact, etc., visit our campus. There are a lot of internship opportunities for this batch and many others. Top roles offered are in HR, sales, analysis, etc.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of facilities available on campus. We have gyms, psychology labs, practical bundles, and other study materials. The canteen and food are good. Our college washrooms and classrooms are hygienic. There are a lot of extracurricular activities and sports like football, basketball, etc.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful and thorough with their concepts. At the end of college, students are prepared for the outside world and what is to come. The semester exams are not very difficult. It is good enough to test one's knowledge. The pass percentage is 33%.

Our university gives a memorable experience for people who live life on their own terms.
Placements: JMC guarantees great placements. Many students from other courses got placements. Psychology has a placement rate of 1 and for internships, we have to go to other places. There was no provision for internships in Psychology. There are paid internships where students have to pay a particular amount of money to get access the internships.
Infrastructure: JMC is well-equipped with everything required. Library has 3 floors and is very vast. There is Wi-Fi as well as functional desktops. Staff is very professional and strict about maintaining decorum on the premises. Eating is prohibited, talking is restricted and students must have an ID card to enter that are checked. Students are asked to fill in their details, before depositing their bags and entering the premises. Canteen food and beverage variety are enormous. Food is very hygienically prepared and there is a proper drink dispenser and a fridge with all sorts of drinks including water. Food is healthy as well as satiating, and the prices are very economical. There is proper ventilation and seating since it's more like a cafeteria. There are vast lawns for sports and a storage room for sports equipment. It is off-limits unless you need something from there, for which written permission is required. Caretaker will get the required equipment so nothing is damaged or misplaced.
Faculty: College has renowned faculty, especially in the field of Psychology. Lecturers are kind and sensitive towards the students needs. They are very approachable and professional. Our lecturers are with us at every step. Commendable efforts of our lecturers and the course design propel students towards real life and prepare them for the future. Semester exams and attendance are taken very seriously. Exams are not easy as they test not only how much information the student has grasped, but the experiential knowledge gained by each student. Questions are based on theory and practicals that students have done. Exams are application-based. We had practicals, our lecturers went out of their way to give us hands-on experiences and we've visited various institutions to get an idea of how things work.
Other: Campus is filled with caring and responsible people from students to administration. I will always remember my time here as it'll be a memorable experience. I chose Psychology honors since I wanted to help people find solutions to issues with daily functioning. Young adults like,e find themselves perplexed due to issues that might otherwise not be too difficult to navigate through. People want to be heard for once, without being bombarded by inapplicable advice, unrelatable suggestions, irrelevant taunts, or any other sort of judgment. People are very capable of finding solutions. All they need is some help, some assistance with their quest for a better and more functional life. I want to help people as much as possible, and in the process, learn a few things too.

One of the best college for girls in Delhi University.
Placements: We have to sit in placement drives and about 60% of students got placed. Top recruiting companies were Deloitte, KPMG, E&Y etc. We had to look for summer internships ourselves, which was a better option always. Roles were majorly offered on the basis of the course you are in.
Infrastructure: The facilities available are quite good as compared to other Delhi University colleges across different campuses. Wi-Fi is available but it doesn't always work, Labs are well-equipped as well as the library. There are books provided of every author.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful when it comes to academics and they provide us with the necessary notes and books to study from. Sessions are highly interactive and sometimes classes don't take place also. I think whatever we study as a part of our curriculum helps us to get us ready for the career we want to pursue.
Other: The campus is great as well as very green. Hygiene and cleanliness are well maintained on the college campus. It's a girls college so all you see are girls of different economic backgrounds and social backgrounds from all over Delhi/India. Our fest is one of the bests of DU.

Amazing faculty, good infrastructure and opportunities.
Placements: A lot of people was not placed. There were only 2-3 on-campus placements. There were only 3-4 off-campus placements. Some of the students chosen to study further. The average salary offered was almost Rs.10,000-15,000 per month. Accenture was the top recruiting company. The top role offered is an assistant psychologist.
Infrastructure: We had well-equipped labs and classrooms. The library is also pretty good. There was no hostel in my college. Faculty is well qualified and among the best in Delhi. We had Wi-Fi facility, but it didn't work most of the times properly. Our teachers went a step ahead to teach us new things.
Faculty: The quality of education was really good. Faculty are knowledgeable and do not just rely on the prescribed syllabus and theoretical textbooks and also teach practical knowledge. The curriculum is relevant as designed by Delhi University. However, there is much to be covered in a limited span.
Other: I was chosen this course because of my interest in psychology and wanted to pursue this course. Best things were the practicals we did, which gave us an idea about the reality outside the campus. College gave really good exposure, organised workshops, fests etc.

Best three years of my life.
Placements: The placement cell of the college is very active and works hard. Almost all the students of my batch got placed. Big companies like Ernst & Young and Accenture visit the college. The students would get good amount of mails starting from the second year for internships which was encouraging and offered a new route to us.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated. The washrooms are clean. The college is aesthetically pleasing. There is a huge ground, an amphitheater, and the main hall is the key highlight of JMC, with seat upstairs as well. They recently constructed a lot of parts around the campus, so a newness is there and they maintain it very well. The library is a building with 3 floors of books. The canteen was very well seated and served us with good food at cheap prices.
Faculty: Academics are strong in Jmc. My department, which is the department of psychology has opened my mind and given me new lines of thinking for so many things. All the credit of who I am today goes to those teachers who lent us their knowledge and hard work, who made sure we got the subject in a wholesome manner. My experience was made out of the world mainly because of what I learned there. The college staff, administrative and otherwise, is lovely and extremely helpful. 8 out of 10 ratings.
Other: Fests and events are one of the best parts of this college. Dalai Lama and our President Shri Ram Nath Kovind have visited our campus and the experience was worthwhile. Apart from them, some celebrities have also come in for the fests. The sports department is amazing. The college also has an interdepartmental annual march past. People with disabilities also participate. There is a disabilities cell called equal opportunities cell and now recently the psychology department opened a mental health department as well. Apart from that, the campus is located at a prime location and students can commute through buses and metros.

Here's a summary of the key points:

* Teaching Quality: Faculty members are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Some professors display excellent teaching skills, while others may need improvement.
* Course Curriculum: While some students find the curriculum relevant, others feel it focuses too much on theoretical concepts and not enough on practical applications.
* Industry Readiness: Students mentioned that their course doesn't prepare them directly for industry jobs, but they do receive training that makes them "industry-ready."
* Examinations: Exam questions range from easy to difficult, and the pass percentage varies. Some departments have stricter attendance policies, affecting student participation.
* Placements: Placement opportunities exist, but success rates vary across departments. Average salaries range between INR2-INR6 Lacs per annum, with top recruiters like ICICI, EY, and Deloitte.

Q:   Can students join Jesus and Mary College directly without any entrance exam?

A:

As last update in January 2022, admission policies can vary from year to year and may be subject to change. Jesus and Mary College (JMC), like many other colleges in India, typically requires students to undergo an entrance examination or meet certain eligibility criteria for admission into its undergraduate programs. These entrance exams could be conducted at the national level, like the Common Entrance Test (CET) or university-level exams conducted by the University of Delhi.

However, colleges may have provisions for direct admission under certain circumstances such as reserved seats for specific categories, sports quota, or merit-based admissions. It's best to check the latest admission guidelines provided by Jesus and Mary College or the University of Delhi to confirm the current admission process and eligibility criteria.
