Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam from a board recognized or established by Central/State Government through a legislation with Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Information Technology/ informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies & obtained the above mentioned percentage (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Candidates who have passed Diploma in any Engg. Trade from (PSBTE & IT) or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal, or any such examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education shall be eligible with the above mentioned percentage (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category). OR Candidates who have passed 2 years certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal shall be eligible.

Campus life is pretty good. There is an open campus and you can sit in groups.

Placements: Fee structure of my course is 67k per year. We can pay the fee in 4 installments. The fee for every course is different. For B.Tech is 1 Lacs per year. Also, the hostel fee is about 75k per year which includes mess charges, laundry charges, accommodation charges. No extra payment will be charged.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very well maintained. Our college organizes a lot of seminars which gives practical knowledge to all of the students. Due to these seminars students get the information about the things which industries expect from us as a fresher. Our college organizes fest and fresher's party every year which gives opportunities to the students with different interests and talent. Teachers of our college are very supporting and always encourages the students to do their best and to bring best out of us.

Faculty: Faculty of my B.Tech department is very good. They know the things very precisely and when we are in the classroom then they tell us each and every single information whether we ask about it or not. I think B.Tech should more practical based and faculty members here are focusing here on that thing well.

Placements in the college and the college environment were good.

Placements: The placement rate of our college was very good. Almost 80% of the students of our batch got placed in various MNCs and startup companies. The average salary package offered was also a respectful amount. Companies like Amdocs, OpenStax, Wipro and TCS, etc., visited our college for mass recruitment. They provided jobs for a specific duration.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was very good. The campus was lush- green and spread over a large area with direct connectivity to the highway, which makes it easier for students to reach on time. Labs and other classroom infrastructure were also good with all the facilities except elevators.

Faculty: As our college was affiliated to PTU, we followed the course curriculum of PTU. The curriculum was good and fulfilled all the basic and advanced topics required. Faculty members had good knowledge about the topics and made sure to pass it on to the students.

Best college in whole Punjab.

Placements: They have to many companies tieup with them each year visit many companies they have google microsoft wipro and many more I am an graphics designer and 3d artist and an it technicians so there are to many companies to hire but at I choose information tech in 8lakh annual package I have to many options but I choose themin course its was best package for me also my kind of job. I placed to infotech pvd ltd mohali. As 3d artist and designer.

Infrastructure: College is really beautiful from and also from inside as well. Awesome gardens and really big football which also used for cricket tournaments, sports event and for some college events too. And. Auditorium not really big but its is big enough for B.Tech students to sit and also have air conditioning all in all it is good enough. Hostel I tell guys you gona love the best thing in the whole college or will sy best in Punjab it located little far from study area in the college so 10 min walk daily hostel location best surrounded with green and some hill are there too. Food is okay.

Faculty: Faculty is okay according to me I am not really fond of student to go to classes daily ill only attend 3 classes in whole semester so not really know about faculty those who attend according the faculty is really good helping. So don't worry gonna the best faculty in Punjab ill ropar campus is the best campus in whole Punjab because of there faculty and really the awesomeness of the college.

Other: The I miss is the fest on college one of the best and the greatest thing is that fest. Fest name miner it held year they arrange rock band and dj's it is really great best. It runs for today and many events in it. Mine favorite is gaming event many college come to participate in fifa, sake down, call of duty, battlefield, counter strike, nfs etc. I really miss course many time I organized them so can organized them too.

Loved to be a part of RIEIT, Ropar Campus.

Placements: Placements were good, around 80 - 85% were placed before the completion of Graduation. Moreover the college took additional steps to place the non-placed students by offering placements opportunities even after completion of Degree. A huge number of big companies visited for placements like IBM, Zensar, Infosys, apart from this many small companies from Chandigarh, Mohali and Delhi-NCR visited as well.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very good, the was like on the backside you see Mountains and on the Front side there is a River due to which the weather used to cool at all times. There was separate blocks/buildings for different streams of Engineering, also there was a separate building for Law college and Polytechnic college. Also a large Playground + Canteens.

Faculty: The faculty was very good, with good knowledge about the subjects also with the good experience of Life which has helped mostly everyone in life. The college used to close by 5:00pm, however the computer labs used to open till 8:00 pm, this used to be very helpful for all.

Other: We used to a Grand Fest every year in the First or Second week of November called "Minerva". Also the Convocations were also awesome, In year 2014, Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam Sir, was invited for the Convocation. The college was just 10 minutes away from the Ropar Bus-stand.

Average college, not good for study seriously.

Placements: The placements are not too good for our batch, and only 10-12 students were placed in good jobs through the college. And mechanical placements were almost zero, so I will recommend choosing any other college if you want to get placed from the college. We have placements in computer science there were some placements, but not in good companies.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility in labs is too slow. We have Wi-Fi facility in the classrooms, but it's not up to the mark, and infrastructure of classrooms is average. In summer classrooms are too hot, and it becomes too hard to survive, and the library is good there is almost every book of engineering but other stuff is not too good, or we can say up to mark. The medical facility is good for the first aid and ambulance available, and cricket ground is average, but basketball and volleyball ground are good, but no separate ground for football and the students play football in the cricket ground.

Faculty: The faculty is not too good, and you have to study by urself and most of the teachers are not helpful, but obviously they are qualified don't Know how. They can't provide you with a high-class knowledge, and they used old school method of teaching. An ordinary whiteboard is used in the classroom, and the faculty ratio is also less, and you can just get a degree from this college, not the knowledge.

Other: There are some fest and the most famous named as Minerva where there is a DJ band and the fest happens for two days. One day there would B.A. singer's night, and the campus crowd is very low. The scholarship is there for only girl children and parentless children, and that would be 50 %.
