The 2014 batch of ECE branch was awesome.
Placements: During our placements, many famous companies visited our college for the placements. Those companies were Flipkart, Tech Mahindra, Google, Helli Labs, and others. About 30% of students were placed from our electronics and communication batch because half of the students did not take place in the placement drives. The highest salary package provided by the companies was 18 LPA. Almost all students of our batch got internships during the six months of their industrial training. Some students even got paid internships. The college provided the best course for networking, marketing, data science, and data analysis.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the Ropar campus was very calm and peaceful. All departments were well-constructed with a separate lawn where the students can study, play and enjoy their free time. All classrooms are neat and clean. The library of Rayat Bahra Ropar Campus is very well-organised, where you can receive 4 books at a time. There is also an e-library, where students can prepare for their placements. All computers, electronics and mechanical labs are good. Faculty do all type of practicals related to the theory subject. The college had given free Wi-Fi services. There were also a separate seminar hall, party hall, various playgrounds, and a ground for tech fest. I was not a hostler but during tech fest and celebrations, day, I stayed in the hostel. Hostel management was very good. The food of the mess was also delicious. They have different menus every day. College organised the state and national level sports programmes.
Faculty: All the teachers from B.Tech (electronics and communication engineering) were helpful and supportive. They have very good knowledge of their relevant subjects. They provided seminars and workshops for the students. The teachers even provided extra classes for better careers and placements. In the first and second semesters of our course, I found difficulties. But after one year, all semesters were good. I also got very good marks every semester. Even all the students of our batch passed all semesters. The highest percentage of topper was 90%.
Other: I always wanted to do a different course and electronics and communication engineering were different for girls. Because every girl chose computer science engineering over other engineering branches. That's why I chose ECE. I did not like coding and in the electronics course, there were different types of codings like Proteus and Keil, Aurdino, etc. The best thing about our course was that our batch visited Science City due to our project 'Moving LED using Aurdino and Bluetooth', which was a state-level competition and we got selected. We got third prize for our project. During the course, our batch did not go on a trip. That is the one thing I missed. I have participated in many competitions, groups, and tech fests. In the third year of the course, our batch organised a tech fest. I hosted quiz competitions. I have also participated in the quiz competition of the kaizen group and got 2nd position. The college life was amazing.

Good Infrastructure, good lawn, great tech fest experience, good food, and nice computer labs.
Placements: Placements were fine. I would say 60-65% of the students got placed. The average salary package was Rs. 3-3.5 lakhs. Few companies which recruited the students were - Amdocs, UHG, and IBM. Mostly placements used to happen in groups as there are 3-4 campuses from the same group. Internship culture is not that developed, still few manage to get on their own. I don't think there was any stipend offered.
Infrastructure: The college Infrastructure is not bad at all. Wi-Fi is there and the computer labs are well-equipped. But the electronics lab are not up to the mark. The college has a nice library. The classrooms are clean and well-maintained. The food quality is above average, in fact, better than most of the colleges. Hostel rooms are fine.
Faculty: The faculty is nice and well-behaved. But college should invest more in the faculty. They were helpful. Yet qualification and knowledge are the areas which need to improve. The student to faculty ratio is fine. Industrial seminars are organized sometimes. The course curriculum is great but the faculty needs to be upgraded. Still, there are some great teachers as well.

Other: The college has good infrastructure and provides quality education. The college offer genuine placement and has supportive faculty. Crowd is friendly in nature. College provides ample space for extracurricular activities. The college is situated at the outskirts of the city which makes it difficult for the students to commute. Administration is also not supportive as needed.

Other: College is good .Infrastructure is also very good. At our time placement is also good. But yes there are some fake companies also invited by our college that whole the process to place in fake company waste our lot of times. However there were few good companies also. I study in ECE and we have the best of renowned and dedicated faculty members. The whole curriculum is designed to provide flexibility to student.

Rayat groups provide the best at their part.
Placements: Mega Placement Drives were organised in the university. Package offered by companies was 1.2 lacs to 30 lacs per annum. During this period many companies were visited in university like Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Data 64, Artech etc. All the interested students must be participated in all the rounds which had been offered by the visited companies in the university. In my batch 95 students were placed in their desired companies. Most of the companies offered stipend during the internship. These placement drives were very useful to the students. While participating in those rounds; students gained their confidence and exploring the new world of MNCs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my college is well planned. College provides all the facilities like wi-fi, clean washrooms, dispensary, smart classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, air conditioned library, sports room, auditorium, food courts, maintained parks. Hostel rooms are well organised and maintained. Food incharges have taken care of hostel fooding and canteen fooding. No, I didn't face any infrastructure related issues during my four year of period at the college.
Faculty: I must say that faculty staff is educated and moreover friendly. They are helpful and provided best knowledge at their part. As smart classrooms are there, so it is easy for the students to explore the techno world to the fullest. After every 3 months or at the end of semester there is industry visit, so that students experience the industry environment as well as practical knowledge.
Other: In the month of November college organises tech fest and many other events such as athlete meets, tech fair, scholarship tests, inter college competitions in debate, extempore, group discussions. In the field of extra curricular activities my college provides the best resources so that students can explore their views and gain their confidence.
