Placements: Let me be very honest about it. Each and every college under MAKAUT offers below average placement in the present scenario. Our college is no different. But companies like Johnson, Ericson global, Kirti electronics, ZS associates come to our college campus placement drives and recruit students but the only catch is you have to be a exceptionally good student with great communication skills and you have to have at least basic knowledge in programming languages like C, Java, Python etc.
Placements: It was a good placement scenerio 3-4 years ago but now it's horrible compare to other same category college. College's internal politics is making the condition bad to worse. Big companies are not coming to hire students from this college and no mass recruitment is being held in the year 2018. The effort being put by the placement cell is very minimal and different types of excuses are presented to students for the bad placement record.
Placements: Few companies comes for placement. Overall on an average placement of CS and IT students are good. Avg package 3-4 Lacs. Placement for senior batch was above 80% for CS and IT and 60% for other streams. Each and every students gets chance for internship.
Placements: Placements for the senior most batch that I had witnessed (when I was in my first year) were great. However, the scenario became worse with every passing year as the percentile decreased rapidly from approximately 80% to 40%. The highest package was around 6.5 pa this year and the lowest was around 2.5 pa. TCS, IBM, Infosys, Capgemini, ZS, Ericsson, Johnson control are some companies which came. Internships and training have to arranged by the students themselves, but the college placement cell ...
Placements: There are 75% of the placements from our batch. Tech-Mahindra, Ericson and TCS came to the on-campus drive, and others companies conduct off-campus. The placement scenario was not that much good or satisfactory. Many of us remained unplaced. The students who went to the off-campus drive faced the challenging situation. The placement department was good, and they followed up with the unplaced students until the session end.
Placements: The placement scenario of my college is average with fifty percent of students getting placed every year. The college brings IT companies more than core companies. The salary which the companies are ready to pay is about 4.2 LPA. Overall, the placement is quite good.
Placements: The major companies that visited the college were Capgemini, TCS, ZS Associates, Prototech, Kreeti Technologies, PWC, SCAN IT, Johnson Controls, Poornam Infovision, etc. The highest CTC offered was 6.5 LPA that was by ZS Associates and the lowest was by Poornam Infovision that was of 2.25 LPA, but it was with transportation and food accommodation. The average CTC was around 3.5 LPA - 4 LPA, and around 50% of the students in the college were placed on the college campus interviews from the 2014 t...
Placements: The placements in the college are good. From our batch, almost 80% of the total strength has got placed through the on-campus. There was the same scenario for the next year as well. Regarding the placement, things went well, and I should say that, though there is a need for the betterment. We were expecting companies from the core area, whereas we received the campus recruitment from software companies only, which is quite disheartening.
Placements: In our batch, placements were okay with 60% of the people getting placed. Generally, it's 80%. In all the other batches, it was pretty good. MNCs did visit the campus. Students got placed in Tech Mahindra from the college itself. Likes of Cognizant, Infosys, and TCS visit our college. But there's not much scope for core departments.
Placements: Hello, everyone, I am in the 4th semester of ECE department. In my college, the Placement is average as other Makaut colleges. Every year about 65-75 percent students are placed. Most visiting and recruiting companies are the IT companies, for example, the TCS, WI Property, Infosys, and others and TCS is the mass recruiter. Some core companies also come, but they recruit less number of students. In my college mostly CSE, ECE and IT students get placed in the above IT companies. The average salar...
Placements: The placement given on the website shows more than 80% and is just to attract the new students and their parents, but the truth is not even 60% got the placement. In the recent years, placement dropped to 40%. No big companies are coming for on-campus placements. Some students even don't know how the placement is going on. Nor it is given to the students by their department faculty. About internship, it's just a word to speak. There is no internship provided by the college and some of the aggreg...
Placements: Good placement record for CSE and IT. About 15-20 companies visited the campus for the recruitment including TCS, Wipro, Capgemini and Indian navy. There are a separate trainee and placement department. For branches other than CSE and IT placement records are not good.
Placements: Right after you get to know your WBJEE rank, you will choose a college based on placements. So, RCC IIT is the obvious choice for me back in 2014. The placements used to be good. But it has certainly declined over the years. This year, it has been really poor until now. Around fifty students are placed with the average salary of 3 LPA. Capgemini and PricewaterhouseCoopers were the main recruiters. They offered the role of the system analyst. Interested students did projects with IBM University r...
Placements: 3 years ago, the placements offered by the college were very good. The placements were pathetic in the previous year. After a lot of strikes in the college, the placement committee started trying to approach companies. Eight companies visited the college, this year. The placement process continues till March, every year. The placements will be improved in the upcoming years.
Placements: The placement was good in 2015 batch when I took admission. but from the last 2 years, the college records very less placements. Although our college ranking is in the top of the search lists, in the placement, scenario, it needs to be improved. This year, almost 40% are students placed in various companies.
Placements: Last year, we had a whooping placement of 80%+ out of which, the mass recruiters were TCS (over 50%) and IGATE Solutions (24%). The average package offered by the companies was 4.2L and the highest offered was 9L. Other companies that visited the campus were BroadSoft Technologies, Indian Navy, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Ericcson, Keeves and more. The students sitting on the campus were given various designations. Most of the students got an internship from the college itself with a max stipend of 9K...
Placements: Placements were not so good. 60% were placed. The highest package was 7 lakhs and the lowest package was 3.5 lakhs. Most of the students got placed in TCS, Capgemini, etc. Most of them got offers of call centers. I don't know about the number of students who got internships as I haven't ever asked the college authority for this.
Placements: The placement for our batch & seniors' batch was almost at par with other tier 2 engineering colleges. A large part of the companies was basically from the IT industry with a few companies of the core stream also visiting the campus. The average salary was around Rs. 3 lakhs per annum. The major recruiters were TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra & Ericsson. The roles offered by the IT giants were of software developer, support engineer. As for internship, we mainly have to find them on the own for sum...
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed in the year 2015 is about 80% but it wasn't so good last year. The companies that visited our college are Johnson Controls, Wipro, IBM, TCS, CTS and a few more. The highest package was offered by Johnson Controls and the average salary was offered by TCS, IBM, etc. at around 3.4 lakhs per annum.
Placements: I think almost 80% of the students are placed somewhere or the other, so I find it satisfying. The senior batch students also said that they were satisfied. The highest salary per month is Rs. 50000, the average is around Rs. 35000. Persistent, Johnson Controls, TCS, Wipro, etc. visit our college. Internship offered is not very satisfying.
