Satisfied with the faculty. Placements could have been better and infrastructure can also be improve

Placements: The placements in our college are good enough. Around 75% of the students get placed in our college. The highest company salary is around Rs. 40000. The average salary of the students in my college is around Rs. 25000 - 30000. The lowest salary is around Rs. 10000. Companies like TCS, IBM, Infosys, CTS, Capgemini, Persistent, etc. hire the students.

It's an okayish college. Can't say less or more than that.

Placements: Highest package- 7 lakhs. Lowest package- 3.5 lakhs. Placements are not so good in RCCIT at present. Half of the students remain unplaced or are placed in start-ups. Students were mostly offered call centre jobs. The companies that have so far visited are the mass recruiting companies like IBM, TCS, etc.

Good placement and infrastructure.

Placements: Placement was pretty good in our college. If I tell about my batch then 50-60% students got placed in different IT companies. The first company of our batch was TCS where 34 students got placed. Then comes Capgemini where a bit of mass recruitment happened as per our college strength, where 70 students get placed. After that IBM, TECH.M, Ericson visited and many students got placed. The highest salary offered is 4.2 LPA by Hitachi and the lowest was offered by Ericson i.e, 2.7 LPA. Most of the c...

Average faculty and placements.

Placements: Placements are moderate in our college. We had 65-70% placement this year. The highest salary paid is 30k and the lowest is 10k. Companies like TCS, IBM, Tech Mahindra, etc. visited our college. Roles like assistant software engineer were given to the students. The placement cell took some efforts but they were late.

Dissatisfied with the faculty, not college. Very good placements have been done here.

Placements: Placements are very good. 95% students have already been placed in the senior batch. The highest salary offered is by IBM at 5.7 lakhs/annum approx. All IT companies come but there are many core companies like Indian navy, Bose etc. There is no internship programme organized by our college but placement is really good.

All over, a good college for engineering in West Bengal.

Placements: In 2016, out of the eligible students, 50.83% were placed in Tata Consultancy Services, 23.26% were placed in Wipro Pvt. Limited, 8.64 % were placed in Tech Mahindra Ltd, and apart from that, the companies like IGATE Global Solution Ltd, BroadSoft technologies Pvt Ltd, Global IDs, Alumnus Software Ltd, Ericson India Global Services Pvt Ltd etc. visited for recruitment. In 2015, 65.78% students were placed in Infosys Ltd. The highest salary offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary was 3.6 LPA. So...

Good college with a room for improvement.

Placements: Placement is perhaps the most vital part of any college. In my 3 years of college, I had seen a "mixed" placement scenario. Initially, in 2014, the placement was quite good, 2015 was perhaps the best as almost 80% of ECE eligible students got placed, partly due to market conditions and partly due to the quality of the batch. 2016-2017 batch is doing quite well, although compared to the previous year, the opportunities have diminished considerably.

A college with highs and lows

Placements: At least 75% students get placed every year, and in some years, 90% students got placed. I have heard that 10 lakhs per annum was the highest package offered. The students are offered the roles of Associate Engineer, Scientist etc. The lowest salary I heard is 3.5 lakhs per annum. The internship depends on the interest of students. The student who wants an internship gets the internship and completes it. The recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Indian Armed Forces, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, IBM, Ericsson In...

RCCIIT a place to learn and explore. Comparing with other private colleges, my experience was good.

Placements: The IT and software companies like TCS, INFOSYS, CTS are the major recruiters of this college. Last two years' placement statistics: 2015: 170+ students were placed in Infosys with 3.25 LPA and around 50+ students were placed in Tech Mahindra. The remaining were placed in various companies like IBM, I-Gate, Ericsson etc. Indian Navy visited the campus for recruitments though none of the students were selected. None of the core companies visited the campus. The overall percentage was 70+. 2016:...

You will be placed here if you are good enough to be placed.

Placements: The electrical department gets not that decent placements but it is still fine considering the state of core engineering departments in the colleges. Around 40% of the students were placed from this department in 2016 which counts as 27 out of 73 students where 20 students were not eligible out of 73.

RCCIIT is considered as one of the finest colleges under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University (MAKAUT) in Kolkata The faculty is highly qualified and the infrastructure is excellent. These give the students the means to excel in various fields like CSE, IT, AEIE, EE, ECE. Being a government undertaken college, the fee structure is affordable. The whole college campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The college location is great and is easily accessible from any part of the city. It lacks a good canteen, thoug...

1. Few professors are really good. They have full depth knowledge if the subject they teach. 2. College does not put any extra cost on the students. Values for education not money. 3. More improvement is required in terms of skill growth of students and placements.

To begin with, this is the best college of Kolkata. I have been spending glorious times right from the time I joined. This college is not so known because this is a semi government college run by the higher education department of West Bengal and is thus not a publicity monger like most other self-funded colleges. The laboratories are up to the mark, the faculty is okay and placements are fine. There are two campuses of the college facing each other. There are only 5 departments in B.Tech so no ...

Excellent labs and faculty. Library needs upgrade, no hostel facilities available, placement is average, and discipline is strictly followed and funded by tequip. Classes are very regular. Maximum permanent faculty, few visiting faculty. Very well connected. Canteen food is average. Lots of cultural activities, sport events and fests are held.

Classes are interactive with equal weightage given to external and internal exams. They have the dedicated faculty members. It’s a huge campus with a small lake centrally located and vacant areas all round. It consists of two buildings. Old building is located in the campus and the other is newly constructed. But the placement procedure is average. It is government undertaken so fees is also not too much. Class rooms are comfortable.

This is one of the engineering colleges whose name speaks for itself. College hosts 2 fests - Techtrix (technical fest) and regalia (cultural fest). Of course, you can't miss too many classes, attendance is strict. Teachers are great, supportive and you can reach out to them for any kind of guidance. Students here are extremely friendly and try to enjoy their life to the maximum. Being a semi government institute, college fees is lower than all comparable institutes. As we were the second batch...

The faculty members are very supportive and no need to say very knowledgeable. They can be just your teacher or your best friend it’s on what you want them to be. But in case of study or teaching they are very strict. Library contains almost every book you need. Class rooms are comfortable. It's a great college to learn.

RCCIIT may not boast of an elaborate campus or an eye catching appearance but there’s certainly more than meets the eye here. There are two separate buildings for classroom purposes and both are well capable encompassing large mass of students. We have our own library with ample stocks of wide variety of books and an e-library system soon to be facilitated. An IT gallery with state of art equipment is used for seminars, meetings and presentations. It does lack in providing sufficient rooms for l...
