B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2023
Offered by Royal College of Engineering and Technology
3.4
4Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
A college good enough for education
Placements: A good percentage of students got placed in our college and a lot of recruiting companies come for the placements including TCS, Wipro, etc. Since the quality of teachers is good, they are sufficient enough to develop the students with the desired skillsets.
Infrastructure: Good facilities are available for the classrooms and library. Average facilities are available for labs and Wi-Fi. But the hostel facilities are not better. But it is acceptible. The food available from the canteen and mess is good and medical facilities are appreciable. But they are high with the cost.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified. The course curriculum is the best for industry purposes, but the placement rate is less for the course. I think the value of engineers in our society should increase.
Other: I have had the ambition to become an engineer since my childhood, and that's why I choose this course. I think they should provide us with more scholarships for financially backward people.

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2016
Offered by Royal College of Engineering and Technology
3.2
2Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
This college campus is much better and the college life before the pandemic was good.
Placements: Below 1% of students were placed in our batch. Placements were average in civil engineering courses. Roles offered in our courses were site engineers, supervisors, etc., for civil engineering courses. The campus recruitments were very low. The average fee for a student in civil engineering was RS 15,000.
Infrastructure: This college provides good classrooms, laboratories, a library, hostel, canteen, sports and games, and cultural activities. The quality of facilities was good, and the hostel facility was also average. But the quality of food available in the hostel and mess was average. The canteen food was also average.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, and the teaching quality was good. The pass percentage was 85%. But the semester exams were very difficult. Course curriculum was relevant. College life was average, but the campus was good. The ambiance of the college and its aesthetic appearance was much better.
Other: Our batch was one of the bests batches in college. Events and fests were held before the pandemic. But now college life was not much better than those times.
