My golden days of college life.

Placements: I had attended more than 10 interviews from the college side, and they gave a good opportunity to grow my career, and I am thanking my placement team for giving this opportunity. I had gained more experience when attending this kind of interviews.

Satisfied with the faculty, very pleased with the infrastructure of the college, placement is good.

Placements: The placement team tries their best to provide the students with the opportunities from some good companies. Many IT companies have visited the college, but only a few of them are the core companies. The salary package offered by the companies is also good. The college makes us write the employability tests like Amcat and CoCubes during our final year so that we have a chance of getting placed in the companies through the platforms apart from the college placements.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Around 80% of the students are placed in L&T Infotech, Aon Hewitt, and Infosys KPO. The highest salary was five lakhs per annum, and the lowest salary was 1.5 lakhs per annum. The companies like Tech Mahindra, Aspire Systems, L&T Infotech, Zoho, Infosys, Elgi, Flex and much more visited the campus to hire the students. There are different roles offered to the students in the college. Around 60% of the student got an internship. The highest stipend was Rs. 10,000, and the lowest was Rs. 2,000.

The college, as a whole, is very satisfying. Placements need improvement.

Placements: The college is very nice, regarding its staff and facilities. But specifically talking about placement, it is not up to the mark. Especially for finance specialization, companies don't come as per our expectations. Most of the companies were demanding for marketing and HR domain students. The average salary package offered by companies varies between 2.5-3 L. The internship is mandatory as per our university norms so 100 % students get an internship. Apart from this, our college provides summer...

Satisfied with the infrastructure and teaching but placements should be improved.

Placements: The placement rate for my batch is little low compared to the senior batch. Only 70 students out of 160 students were placed in IT. Other than that around 45 students were placed in BPO, KPO, and marketing. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 120000/annum, the highest salary offered is Rs. 12,00,000/annum and the average salary offered is Rs. 2,00,000/annum. Companies like Zoho, Samsung, Capgemini, Aspire Systems, Virtusa, Sanmina, Trutech, Kaar technologies, Qspider, etc. visited the campus. The s...

Encouraging and experienced faculty, among the top colleges offering best infrastructure.

Placements: The college offered very good placements where excellent tuning and exposure of students were done to face the interviews with right attitude and knowledge to get through. In my batch, around 60% students were placed on/off campus on the perusal of their final year. The highest salary offered is around 6 LPA by a company, a good number of students were placed in it by competing among different colleges at Chennai. I got placed in an MNC (Flextronics) with a salary package of 2.5 LPA in my fina...

Perfect and real of my college.

Placements: Good placement training and good placement jobs were provided, with repeated companies coming for the recruitment. I had attended lots of interviews and I got placed in more than three companies. I am currently working in Dell. Unique training is provided with unique teachers and rooms.

Average placement, good infrastructure and faculty, partially strict and value for money.

Placements: The placement rate is 50%. Various IT companies, BPO & marketing companies recruit students. The college brought in some big companies for campus interviews like Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, L&T Infotech, Zoho and many more. I got placed in Capgemini this year along with 62 other students. Also, I got LOI from Capgemini. If you know coding well then SAEC will give you some good opportunities to get placed. Even for the students with arrear, they will give a BPO job for sure. Last year(2016) overall...

Supportive faculty, good labs, average placements.

Placements: The placement percentage has increased in our batch when compared with our senior batch. Approximately, more than 80% of the eligible students are getting placed. Information about off-campus drives is also given. But mostly the placements are not from core side as of now. The value-added programs are organised but the internships are done based on the student's interest. But, the staff guidance will be there. The pay ranges from 11000 per month to 45000 per month. ...

Good Infrastructure is the only "Positive" thing about it otherwise its total waste. Faculty is not qualified enough as well as placements are also poor. You will not doing justice to yourself by enrolling into any course on this college. The positive thing about this college is the Library which is totally digital.

It is a very good atmosphere to learn something as compare to other college. If teaching staff can improvise their skill then there will be better improvement in student’s career. Good library facility and college fully we can access internet through Wi-Fi. They are giving assignments to the students which is a waste of time.

S.A. Engineering College is affiliated to Anna University and this college is located 20kms from central Chennai. When it comes to transportation, train services are available at a distance of 7km and the college is situated on the state highway. So there are many buses and autos plying to railway stations and other places. You can expect a decent infrastructure, since as per government norms, they sometimes collect slightly higher fee as a miscellaneous fee. When it comes to teaching, the fac...

I have completed my undergraduate in this college in the stream of electronics and communication engineering. In terms of education, they have qualified lecturers and professors who can guide you. The biggest drawbacks is the campus, it almost looks like a residential area. Apart from studies, there is no room for other activities. Cultural and sports activities are completely in backburner.
