A perfect college to have a bright and successful future, with a lot of memories with their batch.

Placements: We haven't got any placements from college, but there are fests which do attract some companies. So, students have to take the opportunity as it comes or else, it'll be missed. You can get internships easily with the recommendation letters from our college. If you have above 75% aggregate, then you can get placed from our college easily, but it is difficult if you have below 75%. The cutoff for the previous batch was 70%. So, you need to work hard.

A college with good infrastructure.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is very good and works in a very commendable manner. There are companies which offer a very good package of 2 Lacs p. a. and more. Most of the jobs offered are of mainly of sales background. Companies like ICICI and L&T visit our campus.

You can have the best experience in this college.

Placements: Placements in our college were pretty decent. Many reputed companies like Larsen & Toubro, etc., have visited our college for placement drives. A placement cell was available in our college, and they were quite helpful. Students get internships, and they are pretty decent. The salary package offered was around 2 LPA to 3 LPA.

I had a mixed experience at S.K. Somaiya College.

Placements: Placements in the college are average, B.Sc. IT and B.Sc. CS are seated together for the placement drives. Students must have 60% marks in order to be eligible for placements. Companies like TCS, Wipro, L&T, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Capgemini, etc., visit the college for placements. The average salary package offered is 2-2.50 LPA.

Faculty members in the college have vast experience.

Placements: KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce doesn't provide many placement opportunities. However, the college provides an opportunity or rather guides the students to attend the interview processes in companies. The college should focus on the placements of students as it is an autonomous college, and they also guide the students in the right path.

Satisfied with the college as the faculty members are good.

Placements: The placement process is conducted mainly from January to March. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Zensar, and Symphony, etc., visit the college to offer placements. The average salary package offered was around 2 LPA. A few companies do have the criteria of 60% score in academics. Placements have been improved a lot in the last two years. Overall, the placements are good, and we are hoping the best for our batch.

Good college with good placements.

Placements: The placement for our batch was average since most of the students want to pursue further studies like MBA. Around 30 to 40 percent of the students got jobs in finance and insurance sectors. The highest CTC was 1.5 Lacs per annum and the lowest was 1.2 Lacs per annum. Companies like ICICI, HDFC, LIC visited the campus. Hardly twenty students went for an internship. There was no stipend offered. The students have their own placement cell which is moderately effective.

A wonderful college with good placements.

Placements: Our batch had excellent placements with almost 70% of the students getting placed. Rest of the students have opted for further studies. The average package offered was 1 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Most of the students were offered roles in finance, banking, insurance and consulting sectors. Almost all the students except a few got internships from the college. The internship was part-time, and stipends were offered. The placement cell of our college was effective.

Good infrastructure and faculty, amazing cultural activities.

Placements: There are not much placement opportunities. 2-3 companies come for bulk hiring but the profiles were not exactly related to the course. However the companies are good MNCs so it's a good start for anyone who wants to give a try in that particular field. Companies I can remember that placed good number of students were ICICI Prudential and Wipro. Package can be somewhere around 1.5-2 lacs pa.

The infrastructure is good, and the college provides placements.

Placements: The placements provided by our college are good, and the best companies visit the college to conduct placements. Students get good opportunities to give their best and get selected in the company. Few companies that visit the college are of no use, but a few are the best and well-reputed.

One will enjoy their campus life, but don't go only for placements.

Placements: Placement opportunities were not that good because there would be a mix of BMS, B.Com, BAF, etc. The job profiles offered are also not that attractive. The main reason behind this is most of the students go for masters degree or professional courses like CA and CFA.

It is a highly recommended college.

Placements: One cannot expect more placements at our college. There are few firms which recruit candidates. However, the response for internships is very good. There is an internship fair which practically hires interns. One can do well and perform better in our college. There is a placement cell in our college.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college and I would never regret studying here.

Placements: The placements provided by this college are the best for the students because various reputed companies in the market visit the college for hiring students. Maximum of the students studying here are eligible for placements and get an awesome job. The campus placements are very helpful for the students.

Somaiya is the best college in Mumbai.

Placements: Companies from various parts of Mumbai visit the college for the placements. Also, the facilities and salary which they provide you at the beginning of your job are amazing. We have an event in our college for placements, and it is named as Career Fest. You must participate in this fest because there will be many placement opportunities from various companies across Mumbai and most of them are top companies.

The college has a really good infrastructure and campus.

Placements: There were placements but very limited placements. It would be great if students get more opportunities to grow within the college and also outside the college. However, there are opportunities for overseas countries for students to grow.

Placements: The placements were not as good as I expected, they are very poor. The companies were good, but the eligibility criteria was too high. The placement process was average. I hope the placements will be good this year.
