Absolutely satisfied and happy to get into this college. Waiting for placements as of now.

Placements: The college does have a placement cell but the placement rate is very competitive as of now. Many companies visit for hiring but the average package is around 2.5 LPA to 7 LPA. Rarely students get high packages. High profile companies visit here.

Great opportunities in placement.

Placements: My college has established a dedicated placement cell for placement processes. The cell comprises of experienced and practicing lawyers, media professionals- journalists, editor, script writers, special correspondent, IT professionals etc. Hence, best of the guidance is available.

I am very satisfied with faculty members of this college.

Placements: Almost 35-45% of students got placed in this course. Top recruiting companies are Motilal Oswal and Life Insurance. Many students do not want to do internships as everything is a mixture of online and offline. Top roles offered are research analyst, sales and marketing intern, etc.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: There is no placement in this college. Students from IT background are not given any placement which is affecting the students. No placements and internships are provided. It is a bad college.

Fees is quite high and since everything is online so fees should be quite less.

Placements: They offer good placements. Many big companies come to offers jobs. Since we are online batch students I don't know much. But Somaiya is renowned college. As far as now the placements are good and satisfactory. Totally recommended college. Go for it.

I am really missing my college days.

Placements: The overall campus placement process was average, according to me. Hardly 30% of students were successful in securing a good job from college. The top recruiters were TCS, Cognizant, and Wipro. The highest package offered was 2.8 Lacs per annum, and the average package was 2 Lacs per annum.

Review of SK Somaiya Degree College of Arts, Science & Commerce.

Placements: Placements are good here, and other things are also good. Our college is very well maintained by the staff members and faculty members to avoid any complaints from students. Internships are also great here. Almost 80% of the students got internship opportunities in good companies.

They offered capable posts as per the abilities of the applicant. Posts like assistant manager, accountant, etc., are offered to the students.

Top recruiters were Jaro education, Body talk, roles were entry-level in sales, marketing, finance, media. About 40% GOT internship from college which was run by student-led campus drives. Overall placements were fairly good in terms of various industries coming to campus.

I am averagely satisfied because of the faculty infrastructure and placements.

Placements: I am still in the second year, so I have practically zero experience in placements. However, our seniors got amazing placements, and they were very much satisfied with the offers. Around 50 to 60% of the students got placed with an average salary of Rs. 15,000 per month.

I had a mixed experience at S.K. Somaiya College.

Placements: Placements in the college are average, B.Sc. IT and B.Sc. CS are seated together for the placement drives. Students must have 60% marks in order to be eligible for placements. Companies like TCS, Wipro, L&T, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Capgemini, etc., visit the college for placements. The average salary package offered is 2-2.50 LPA.

Faculty members in the college have vast experience.

Placements: KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce doesn't provide many placement opportunities. However, the college provides an opportunity or rather guides the students to attend the interview processes in companies. The college should focus on the placements of students as it is an autonomous college, and they also guide the students in the right path.

Satisfied with the college as the faculty members are good.

Placements: The placement process is conducted mainly from January to March. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Zensar, and Symphony, etc., visit the college to offer placements. The average salary package offered was around 2 LPA. A few companies do have the criteria of 60% score in academics. Placements have been improved a lot in the last two years. Overall, the placements are good, and we are hoping the best for our batch.

Good college with good placements.

Placements: The placement for our batch was average since most of the students want to pursue further studies like MBA. Around 30 to 40 percent of the students got jobs in finance and insurance sectors. The highest CTC was 1.5 Lacs per annum and the lowest was 1.2 Lacs per annum. Companies like ICICI, HDFC, LIC visited the campus. Hardly twenty students went for an internship. There was no stipend offered. The students have their own placement cell which is moderately effective.

Good infrastructure and faculty, amazing cultural activities.

Placements: There are not much placement opportunities. 2-3 companies come for bulk hiring but the profiles were not exactly related to the course. However the companies are good MNCs so it's a good start for anyone who wants to give a try in that particular field. Companies I can remember that placed good number of students were ICICI Prudential and Wipro. Package can be somewhere around 1.5-2 lacs pa.

One will enjoy their campus life, but don't go only for placements.

Placements: Placement opportunities were not that good because there would be a mix of BMS, B.Com, BAF, etc. The job profiles offered are also not that attractive. The main reason behind this is most of the students go for masters degree or professional courses like CA and CFA.
