Sahrdaya's experience.

Placements: Almost 92% of students got placed from my college. But the placements were in poor companies. The highest package was 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Agape, Medtronics, etc. Almost all the students with GPA above 7 get internship. Sales, research, etc. are the top roles offered.

A school with great infrastructure and academics.

Placements: For Computer Science, almost 180 students get admitted. The fee is 75k per year, but this year, the college became autonomous, therefore, there is a high chance of an increase in the fee. They are also providing scholarships for the needy. Sutherland, Speridian Technologies, Innovate, UVJ Technologies, and Litmus are some companies which recently recruited. The placements cell in the college provides all the latest updates about internship opportunities.

The home of only academics.

Placements: With a percentage hovering around 93% this year, the level never dips below 90%. Our starting package is 10,000 and can climb up to 25,000. We have top companies like Infosys, South Indian Bank, Byjus, and more. Internships are not provided by the college; we find them ourselves.

Excellent infrastructure and good teaching quality

Placements: The percentage of students placed from campus placement was less when compared to previous batch, it's mainly due to covid 19. I've studied B.tech in biotechnology which has 80000 per year and I've got the merit seat, there is no difference in the course fee whether you're alloted in merit or in management. Exception is for nri students where remit around 4 lakhs (can be reduced due covid 19) to get the seat after that yearly course is same for everyone. ZIFO, AGAPPE were the companies visited i...

The way of teaching is good. Though the placements are bad, I'm satisfied with the college.

Placements: The college has provided only a few placement opportunities for the students of our batch and also our senior batch when compared with other engineering colleges. Only 5% of students of the batch were placed through campus placements. IBS was the prominent company which visited the campus for placements. The package offered was 3.4 LPA. Most of the companies visited were IT companies, and they have offered roles like developers or computer engineers. There is an active placement cell at our coll...

Sahrdaya- Education is dedication.

Placements: Placements were pretty good for computer science, civil engineering, biotechnology and biomedical. Separate coaching sessions were provided by the HR in improving the aptitude level and also for preparing the students to appear for GDs and interviews. Internships were made compulsory, so students need to find the place for doing their internships. The college will only provide guidance in that.

The college has a good campus infrastructure with all facilities but it is pretty strict. But placements should be made to 100%. We used to have lot of interactive sessions and a regular text practice. Every student was given seminar and presentation opportunities and the whole class will be formed into different groups to discuss on a particular topic and talk like a debate. College has supported lot of extracurricular activities.

Good teaching, but very strict and many rules we can't feel that it's a college it's just like our school. But teaching is better. They giving good facilities. Labs are good. The first few college days was very boring because very strict and set rules. The facilities are good. Classroom are good then I think the big issue or problem is fees. The fees is not affordable for middle class. After all we can win exams because of good teaching but if anyone wants to enjoy their college life that's not ...

SCET (2023-2027) review.

Placements: About 93 percent was the placement rate last year in Computer Science Engineering. The average package is about 6 to 7 LPA and above. Companies including Wipro and other companies have been seen visiting the campus and scouting. But ultimately, how you present your project and ace the interview says it all.

Review of Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: The placement rate is 90%. Top recruiting companies are TIC, Byju's, and Wipro. The main placements are for the CSE department followed by the Bio department which provides decent placements. For computer science students, the salary package ranges between 4 LPA - 10 LPA. Mass recruitment is done usually apart for some big MNCs which conduct individual salary packages that reach 10 LPA.

This college is good for studies but it is not only for study.

Placements: Our college provides good job roles. For the electronics and communication branch, recruiting companies are fewer but we can also join software companies. Software companies are more on campus. Internships offered in our course are good. Software companies take students by examining their programming ability.

It is a nice college with a good ambiance.

Placements: About 75% of students got placed. By the end of the 3rd year, students are placed in different companies. The college has tie-ups with more than 30 companies which provide good salary packages. Top companies like Wipro and Infosys tie-ups with this institution. The average salary package offered is 1.5 to 4.8 LPA, depending on companies and students' excellence. According to the 2021 records, 95% of students got placed.

Sahrdaya : does the name reflect what it is?

Placements: The placement cell of the college is average. They have communication only with I. T sector and call center firms. The number of companies interested in hiring are also less. When I was studying in final year, only three or four companies came for recruiting and all of them were from I. T sector. I also had an experience that after the classes were completed, there came an interview during the study leave days which was from our core branch. Due to some reasons I was not able to wear the college...

I am dissatisfied because our college discourages extracurricular activities.

Placements: There were no great placements in our college. As there is a lot of call centres in South India, many students got selected in many call centres. In our college, placements had decreased because some of the major companies were disappointed by the performance of students.
