We have good faculty, and I think my course is helpful for my future.
Placements: It's the second batch of Robotics and Automation. 2 students have placed in our branch. The highest package is 6 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA. Robotics-based and Mechanical-based companies. Students are doing internships in robotics-based companies. The main role in our branch is to study mechanical & computer science-based courses.
Infrastructure: All the facilities in our branch are good and have well knowledge. They are supportive of our studies and project works. Labs, classrooms, library, Wi-Fi are good. I'm staying in a PG, so I don't know much about the hostel. The mess and canteen are okay. The college management is giving great support for sports and games.
Faculty: Yes, the facilities are helpful and well knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good and understandable. Semester exams are difficult compared to the VTU syllabus. The average passing mark is 40%. We have to score 40 marks out of 100 and should be eligible in internals.
Other: I thought Robotics and Automation is a unique course and I may get good placements. The course may help for the future, so I chose this course. Events are fewer compared to other universities. Campus surroundings and campus crowd are good. I don't get scholarships because my native is Kerala.

Sahyadri College: Good placements, infrastructure & faculty. Some areas for improvement.
Placements: Sahyadri College has a dedicated placement cell that helps students find job opportunities. The college has tie-ups with over 300 companies, including top recruiters like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and more. Average salary is 4-5 lakhs per annum. Highest salary is12-15 lakhs per annum. Placement percentage is 80-90%. Students are placed in various sectors, including IT, manufacturing, finance, and more. The college also provides training and development programs to enhance students' employability skills.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Hostel rooms are spacious and well maintained. Outdoor sports include football, cricket, kabaddi, volleyball, handball, throw ball, basketball, hockey courts. Indoor games include table tennis, badminton and chess. Gym with well equipped fitness center with modern equipment is also there.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. There is a separate cell known as examination cell which takes care of examinations conducted. Exams are not that tough and even not very easy. The curriculum is designed to make students industry-ready.

Overall review of college
Placements: Ours is second batch of robotics and automation branch in our college, currently placement is on for our senior's one person has got placed recently with some average salary but the placement has just begun and our placement depends upon our senior.
Infrastructure: Wifi is there but it lags many of the times and cannot get every where, hostel is costly as it starts from 90000 and goes upto 150000 and the canteen is bit costly for students and taste is average and no separate kitchen for veg and non veg so it will be difficult for vegetarians
Faculty: Our branch comes under mechanical department. All the faculty in this department are very kind. They help students in academic and also their personal development. They are very experienced and guide you in your project and even HOD is very good. He gives every update regarding this course.
Other: My decision on choosing Robotics and automation engineering is that it has a scope in future and can boom in upcoming years but in bachelor degree not much is taught related to Robot but still some subjects come in the 3rd year of engineering.

Sahyadri college from point of view.
Placements: 90% of the students get placed in atleast one of the companies. The highest go up to 40 LPA and mass recruiting packages include 3.25 LPA. Companies like Microsoft and google have visited the campus but don't do so now. Other companies include tcs, Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has a Wi-Fi network that requires you to register, and you will be given an ID and password. Classrooms are pretty decent and huge. Labs are full-fledged, but most of these labs are not equipped with ACs. The college also has a cafeteria, which has a wide food options to choose from.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified and trained to teach and handle the students well. They are friendly, and each student has a mentor with whom he or she can discuss their problems. The outcome of the course will get you placed with good companies. Semester examinations are not that difficult, and the pass percentage is above 90%.
Other: The course on robotics and automation is an emerging and promising sector in India. Since there are not many graduates from this course, there is less competition, and the chances of getting a job are higher. It is also versatile as it has 3 core subjects: mechanical, electronic, and CS.

Really good faculty and good infrastructure .
Placements: There a total of 120 students including seniors. But anyone with good marks is eligible to enter into this branch. The highest package in the course is 400000 and the lowest is 100000 and average is 200000. Some companies are Bosch Google and others. Top roles is mainly in design the machines and in industrial fields.
Infrastructure: The college Wi-Fi is not that table but it's available. The labs need a little bit of maintenance. The canteen is pretty average. The rates are a bit high compared to outside. There are medical facilities. There isn't much encouragement to sports and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: The faculty is really good and understanding. They are highly qualified. They are really good in the subjects they teach and make sure that we understand the concepts taught in class. This course makes you ready for the industry. The semester exams are up to the standard.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in roots and their functioning. The best thing about this course is that the job opportunities in different fields is possible. This course needs to be more popularized. The fests are really less and very few but yea they are good.
