Aesthetically mesmerising college with good placements and experience college life like never before
Placements: From my batch almost 70% placements where there. Some top notch companies for mechanical and civil normally comes there for placements. Computer Science has the highest placements though. The college has a lot of MOU's with many companies. Bosch, rolls Royce, MRF, Nila constructions, Indian navy, Infosys, TCS, shobha developers, etc. Are to name a few.
Infrastructure: The college is well known in the state for its infrastructure. It has one of the best infrastructural facilities. The classrooms are all smart and labs are well-equipped and modern. The hostel is very neat and clean and mess food is bearable. This is one of the areas where the college Aces compared to others.
Faculty: The faculty are of standard quality and very cooperative and understanding. The latest teaching methods are followed. The student to faculty ratio is 10:1. Not much industrial exposure is there but the course curriculum is very practical. The college is more research oriented.
Other: One of the biggest college festivals in Kerala ' Nakshatra' is held every year. The campus is located in a very beautiful area and you will fall in love with its aesthetics. Each department has its own technical fests. The college also promotes sports and facilities are very good. College had a good social life and the male - female ratio is almost equal. Studying here is definitely worth it.

Civil engineering placements were very week during 2020.
Placements: 5% of students were placed. More placement opportunities related to the core subject were offered for male candidates. The roles offered were in the Independent Consultants on a temporary post. Posts offered were not permanent it was only for a period of 6 months. They are not giving importance to providing placements in core subjects.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped labs and facilities are available. Hostel infrastructure is good but food quality issues were common. There were many food poisoning issues during the session 2016-17. Infrastructure and room facilities are good. The hostel is located much far from the main campus and therefore, special bus facilities are provided to travel to the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but all are not helpful. The course is relevant as the civil engineering field always remains a good core course. The pass percentage is good. The college is trying to improve its results for accreditation and such credits hence they are giving importance to pass percentage.
Other: Don't opt for M.Tech in structural engineering and construction management here. Faculty members are not worthy and they do not have enough knowledge to guide PG students.

Our College, Saintgits College of engineering .
Placements: In our college, Saintgits College of Engineering, Kottayam, more than 85% of students get placements. Many well-reputed companies recruit our students. As I am a 1st-year student, I have very little knowledge about the placements. I believe a senior can explain it more efficiently.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really great and has a good ambiance. To be frank, a lot of couple spots are there, and the library is so calm and perfect for reading books. The hostel is really good, the food is average, and sometimes really good and sometimes really bad. We can give suggestions about it during the meetings. Free Wi-Fi is provided, which is not that good. We have our freedom, no unwanted restrictions, full freedom in mobile usage and all.
Faculty: Faculty members vary. Some teachers are really good at teaching but they might be short-tempered, some might be cool but not that good at teaching. However, it is up to us. If we want to study, we can. Our curriculum is really overburdening, so much work is given, but I believe it will help us at the end of the day.
Other: My course is Civil Engineering, which is not that bad, and the curriculum is so overburdening. But we can adjust. A lot of fests and programs are held, but 1st years get fewer chances to participate.

The infrastructure and facilities are good here.
Placements: About 57% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 70,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 21,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 40,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Tata Groups and Adani Groups visit our college to hire students. Many other multinational companies visit our college to offer an internship.
Infrastructure: Overall, the facilities in our college are good. There is a huge library for studies. There is a Wi-Fi facility on the campus. There are smart classrooms. It is really great. I love the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-qualified. They have great experiences to share with students. They try to teach everything. They are the best. They are always ready to help us. Semester examinations are not very difficult, and you will easily pass if you study before 2-3 days of exams.
