The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT) are as follows:

• Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognised as equivalent thereto, with 45% marks in Mathematics separately and 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) .
• Candidates must be residents of Kerala and India as their nationality .
• Candidates must qualify for the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) exam.

FISAT College BTech cutoff 2024 ranged between, 8059 and 46006 for the General AI category candidates, wherein BTech in CSE is the most competitive course. Yes, entrance-based admissions are the main criteria for B.Tech programs, as passing JEE Main or comparable national/state exams is required. Merit and admissions chances are determined by rank on these tests.
Prior to being admitted, students must take and pass national engineering admission exams such as JEE Main. The institute determines the qualifying cut-off scores. Therefore, passing the eligibility test for admission is crucial.
After that, admissions are determined by the entrance exam results' All India ranking. Only the students' JEE Main merit rankings are used to fill seats.

In addition to admission ranking, the 12th standard percentage may also be taken into consideration for seats under reserved quota or at the institute level. However, the determining factor for the majority of seats is entrance exam merit.
