Review of Samrat Ashok Technological Institute.
Placements: Many companies like TCS, Wipro, etc., visit our college. They offer paid internships. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Almost 70% of students got placed with good salary packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is well-designed. The campus is huge. It has a playing area, a garden, etc. Our college has a laboratory, machines, Wi-Fi, computers, a well-stocked library with many books, sports, medical facilities, and a canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-educated and highly experienced. They solve all our problems. They create great environment. They prepare us well for exams. They teach us well.
Other: It is a government college. It is a top college in Vidisha.

Our college teaches a great lesson in life.
Placements: In our branch of mechanical engineering, there are no good placements even though our branch is NBA accredited at our college. Hardly, there are 2 to 3 companies related to the core field that come to college to provide placements. The salary package offered was 1.75 LPA - 4.5 LPA which is not great for our field. The problem is the location of the campus which is around 55 km away from Bhopal although it's a great state government. The college campus is great. Around 15-16 students were placed. Some came through off-campus channels while others came through TCS, Infosys, and a variety of other mass recruiters in India. The hiring percentage is very low in our course. Around 20–30% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered in our course is 4.5 LPA which is not good enough. There is no such company that is recruiting more than two students. An internship at our university is entirely dependent on you. Our college didn't help in providing any internships. We did it on our own. Top three roles offered in our course are field engineer, production engineer, and maintenance engineer.
Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure is not good but the memories are great. The hostel gate closes after 8:00 PM and no one is allowed to go outside and come inside. There is no canteen in the hostel. Students are dependent on the mess food. There is only one option in the room which has a 3-bed system. There are three beds, three cupboards, three study tables and chairs, and three book stands in each room. Windows are broken. There is no net for mosquitoes. Washrooms are extremely bad. No one wants to take a bath in that washroom. Workers always ask for money. The hostel has one gaming room which contains only a table tennis table. The lawn is not maintained properly. There is a raging culture in our college which is quite great because it teaches many things compared to other colleges.
Faculty: Our Nobel Peace Prize recipient, Mr. Kailash Satyarthi, sir, is our college teacher. They are helpful and have great knowledge of the subject. The TEQUIP faculty members are outstanding in their respective fields. The course is great. There are some faculty members in our college who are not good at teaching. Our HOD sir is great at helping students and giving advice. He is a person who is extremely respectful. Semester exams are good and tough for getting above 8 CGPA. It is a tough fight.
Other: I always wanted to work in the field of mechanical engineering so I chose this course. Being from a less educated family, there is no one to advise me on which college to join by filling out a form. Counseling in Madhya Pradesh I get this in the first round as I select this option. Even though I qualified for JEE MAINS with good marks and I am from the general category, I was worried that I will not get into any college. So, I accidentally became a part of this college. The campus is large enough. There is no fest and no event. All things happen in college voting and army selection but not any extracurricular activity. Connectivity is not good.
