SPCE is a place where dreams come true. Teaches not only engineering but the experience of life too.

Placements: The placements are very good for our batch and better for seniors. Mostly, all the students are placed whoever wants to join the company. SPCE students go for higher studies like M.tech or MS. Our batch received the highest package of 11 lakhs per annum for HUL, and the lowest was between 3-4 lakhs per annum. Mostly, mumbai based companies visited the campus, but SPCE is famous for offering jobs in core companies which is most important things for a branch like mechanical, civil, and electrical....

The college is en route to being the top college once again. Autonomous college is always better.

Placements: As far as the mechanical stream is concerned, there are good numbers of core companies. Also the internship in good companies like Siemens and TVS Motors to selected student on basis of merit and interview. There is also a training session for all the student before the start of the placement drive on how to crack technical and aptitude test. Also, dummy interviews and group discussions are held by the TPO.

A place where the true journey of life begins.

Placements: The placement is good, many well-known companies come to our college and students who wish for job almost all are placed in good companies with decent packages. The highest package was 32 lakhs in EXL and the lowest was around 3.5 lakhs. All companies were offering core jobs and sales as our college have core branches and location were all in Mumbai. Overall, the placement is fantastic.

The teaching is average, but the placements are poor. Do not opt for this college; go to Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli instead. The placement officer is least concerned about M.Tech placements. The college has a brand name but it is only for B.tech. Do not confuse it with PG courses. Getting projects in companies is difficult through this college as training and placement department is least concerned about PG students. Do not choose SPCE for PG.

Good college with a decent crowd, good faculty but with mediocre placements.

Placements: Placements are decent in this college but not that good and definitely not in accordance with the high cut-off this college has. Placement percentage is near to 100% every year but the packages offered are mediocre with core companies like Siemens offering 5-6 lakhs but to a very low number of students. IT and non-core companies offer the same or even less. Other core companies which visit Sardar Patel College of Engineering are L&T, Lodha Group, Bluestar, etc. 2-3 students in the electrical dep...

Sardar Patel College of Engineering is one of the oldest engineering colleges in Mumbai. It is a great institute, with a huge campus and offers courses in the stream of mechanical, electrical and civil. Being a government aided institute, the fees charged are very low and the cutoffs for admission range very high through MHT-CET (Engg.) exam. The placement scenario is relatively very good with reputed core and non-core companies visiting the campus every year. The offers range from analyst roles...

The college has a good reputation and brand name. Although some of the senior faculty members are good but most of the faculty doesn't justify the name of the college. The span of the semester is small to cover necessary topics of engineering. Labs are not very much updated. Library facility is good. Due to the reputation of the college, campus selection is good. Practical application is not so preferred in college.

S.P.C.E. is one of the best colleges in Mumbai when it comes to student crowd and placements. It is one of the few renowned government aided autonomous institutes of Maharashtra. Though this college offers the core branches of engineering(mechanical, electrical and civil), it provides a very good platform for students to start their careers in the core engineering firms, IT firms, Business Analytic and few others. Thus, students have a good variety of options. One of the major disadvantages of t...

College is good. Being an autonomous institution lifts the name of the college. Practical knowledge gained here is amazing, especially for mechanical engineering. The teaching staff is very good. Placement packages are pretty high. Not the best college in Bombay in terms of infrastructure.

It is the best college for mechanical engineering. Various fests are organized throughout the year. The best part is that it is an autonomous college. Placement is at par with any other mechanical engineering colleges. It comes second to IIT in Mumbai. The college has a central library with a wide variety of books, latest magazines and daily newspapers. However, the buildings are dull and do not receive much sunlight. Also, there is no canteen on the campus.

Really a good college to make an entry to desired company with great college life. Food: 2 to 3 canteens for students across various courses. Infrastructure: Has a good class room, IT lab, playground, and water purifier at each floor, Gymkhana for TT, carom and chess. Placement: Best companies come for campus and many students grab multiple opportunities.

College is great in terms of staff and location. Campus is not too big. Hostel facility not good. But mess is awesome. As it is government aided college, fees is affordable. Scholarship facility also available. If you cannot stay at hostel, then outside place are very much expensive in Andheri. In all, its good to learn in this college.

Excellent academics and fantastic placement record. Sardar Patel College of Engineering is far better than most engineering colleges. The crowd is a letdown but it's definitely in one of the top 5 priority list of a student. A must join if you get your desired branch. Autonomy is an added advantage.

This college is good for youth, who is inspired for engineering. It has a nice canteen, placement of college is good as well. Here, teachers are most humble, analytical, hardworking and more importantly, always available to help students. Further, library of this college is awesome.

The main thing about the college is placement and that is good. Some brilliant companies come all the way. Average packages are around Rs 12.40 lakhs p.a. and go up to Rs 22 lakhs p.a. Some of the campus recruiters are Amazon, Google, P&G, ITC, Airtel, Flipkart, etc. The college has pretty decent staff. The principal is very supportive. Attendance does matter. Campus is good but WiFi is still missing. College has to do a better job on that The batch has a competitive mix of 950-1200 students. Se...

It is a good college to pursue a mechanical course. If you get mechanical in it then sure go for it.

Placements: Placements for the mechanical department are quite good. Students get placed and highest package offerred is like 9-10 LPA. Even CS and ECE placements are good but don't know the exact details about these branches. The college also has some workshops which might help you in skill development, which help you in your placements.
