Placements: Placement of the mechanical and electrical department is better than civil. Last year, students from mechanical got 14 LPA package in Hindustan Petroleum. Recently, students from mechanical got 7 LPA package in Hindustan Unilever Limited. Companies like Hindustan Unilever Limited, L&T, Lodha, Simons, Godrej, KSB Pumps, Quicktech etc. visited in our college. About 40% students got the internship from the college. The lowest package is around 3 LPA. Our placement cell is very efficient, and our tr...
Placements: The placement in SPCE is really good. The students have not to bother about companies, but they have to prepare hard for it. Also, the placement policy is there, so everyone gets an equal chance. For the mechanical and electrical engineering, various MNCs and well-known companies visit the campus. Many seniors have been placed in giant companies. The average salary is though 4 lac CTC per annum only. Few companies that offer higher than 6 lac per annum package visit too. Infosys and Accenture ar...
Placements: The placements are good. The students who really hard work, they get 100% placement. Training and placement department is there who always contact with students and attract good core as well as non-core companies. For civil engineering students, dream companies like Lodha, L&T gave good packages.
Placements: SPCE has a good record of placements. Every year, electrical companies such as Siemens, L&T and many other companies come here for placements. TCS and Infosys also come and hire students from the electrical branch. The average package offered by these companies is between 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Some students manage to get a better package. Our college also encourages pursuing masters in India or USA.
Placements: About 90-95% students get placed in the college. The highest salary offered to the students was about Rs. 8.0 LPA the lowest salary was Rs. 3.5 LPA. The companies like the Bharat Electronics Ltd, Reliance Industries, Larsen & Toubro, Tata Motors, Siemens, MuSigma, Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, Lodha and many more visit the college and offer roles like the decision scientists, system engineer, design engineers, quality engineer, site engineer, data analysts, etc. Internships are not compulsory, but ev...
Placements: The college has a good track record in placements. During our time, most of the students were placed. The highest package was offered by BPCL of 10 LPA. Few other notable companies were L&T, Tata, mu sigma, etc. Lots of students also got the internships through the placement cell of the college.
Placements: The placements were satisfactory. Almost all the students were placed in the years 2012-13 and 2013-14. The average salary offered was Rs. 4 Lacs. The companies that visited the campus are BPCL, TCE, Toyo Technology, Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation LTD., Mahanagar Gas LTD, Technip, Technit, Blue Star, Bajaj Electrical, IBM, Lodha and Bharat Bijlee.
Placements: The placements level in SPCE is always 95 % and above. But, due to recession in 2013, our batch was bit unlucky. I think around 75% of the students got placed. The highest package offered was around 7.5 LPA, and the lowest package offered was around 3.1 LPA. The core companies like BPCL, MGL, Bharat Bijlee, TCE, Kalpataru, Lodha, L&T, etc. along with IT companies like IBM, TCS, Capgemini, CitiusTech, etc. visited our college. Internships during our time were less, but still, with the reference o...
Placements: The placements are excellent as compared to other same-league colleges in the city. We had total 68 students in the batch and around 55 got placed. Rest of the students were not eligible for the placement due to less percentage. The highest package offered was 18 lacs by Mu Sigma and the lowest was 2.4 lacs offered by Data Vector. The average salary was 4.2 lacs. Companies like Musigma, BPCL, JP Morgan, TCE, Undhe India and many more visited. The profiles offered were for sales, designing, gener...
Placements: The placements are nice with an average package of Rs. 5-6 lacs for mechanical and electrical, and Rs. 3-4 lacs for civil. Last year, placements for mechanical were good with the highest package of Rs. 12 lacs. 100% placements were done for electrical, after which was mechanical with more than 95% placements. A slight downfall was observed in civil with only 75% placements. There are training programs for the interview. Also, the students go for practice in the third year itself i.e. interns...
Placements: The placements are really great here. Most of the students get placed with a nice annual package. The average package is around 5 lakhs per annum and the highest was around 8.5+ lakhs and there were a few students who got an annual package of around 7 lakhs.
Placements: Placements have always been good. Starting from PSUs to private companies, all types of companies visit for recruitment. The salary offered is on par with other colleges in the state. Almost all the students were placed during my year and this was the same for my seniors as well.
I had the privilege to learn under a faculty with 30 years of teaching experience. The college has a huge campus, great ambience, a temple and a small lake inside Bhavan's campus. The library is also good. Since it is a government college, expectations about infrastructure should be moderate, though it is sufficient to excel in academics. College doesn't have a good canteen, but there are other options available nearby.
One of the top engineering colleges in Maharashtra. I had a great time here. There is a good balance between studies and other activities. And the best thing is it is located in very good locality. The teachers are highly qualified and some have good industrial experience also. P Placement is nearly 100%, with good companies visiting the campus.
Sardar Patel College of Engineering is very good college as it is one of the very few government colleges in Mumbai. When we look at technical aspect it has advanced labs and workshops for practical demonstrations and learning. This college is a member of technical communities like ISHRAE (mechanical), BAHA SAE and helping students to match their frequencies with advanced world. Social events and cultural events put a feather on its head. A person who gets admission here is lucky.
Sardar Patel College of Engineering comes in top Tier Colleges of Mumbai University. I graduated from this college in this year i.e. 2014, fully satisfied with this college. The faculty members are also good, the labs are with latest technology in terms of latest hardware and software. College supports latest technology and tries to bring them.
