Placements: Almost 90% of the students are placed in my batch, but core placements are a few. Non-core placements are high. You should be technically sound to get placed in a good core company along with a good percentage. The highest salary package was around 6 LPA, and the lowest was around two lacs per annum. The core companies like Lodha, Toyo, Aker, Udhe, TCE, and the non-core companies like Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini visit the campus for the placements. There is no internship from college. The plac...
Placements: For the 2013 pass out batch, the placement was poor. Very few companies visited. Mostly, IT companies visited. Hardly 3 to 5 electrical companies visited with one to two intakes. No guidance is provided for the placements. They should start taking lectures on aptitude test preparation for the students. The college needs to provide training for communication skill development; it will be helpful in placements.
Placements: Placement is not that good this year. Some companies are not coming or giving low packages as compared to last year. Nearly every student who applies gets the placement. The highest package is always around 5 lakhs and the lowest around 2.5 lakhs. The average salary is around 3-4 lakhs. Companies like Aker Solutions, Lodha, L&T, EXL Business Process Solutions visited the campus. The roles offered depends on the companies, but generally, it starts from a low level. In some cases, the role of the ...
It’s a good college for B.Tech but, not so good for M.Tech. I took admission in this college because of its brand name and ranking in Maharashtra. But in actual, the level of education is not up to mark. Some teachers are good but not all. I am mostly disappointed with the placement policy. Very few companies allow M.Tech students to sit in the drive, and those also take very few students.
When you decide to study higher for knowledge and mostly for good job opportunities, and you look for the best institutes. SPCE is one of them but here is a twist, SPCE a brand name, it has very good faculty members for both UG and PG courses, but unfortunately it has no placements for postgraduates for the mechanical stream. Hence, for UG for every stream, the college has 100% placements but not for the PG students.
Sardar Patel college of Engineering is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra with autonomous status giving it an edge over many other colleges in terms of value. Beautiful campus, it has probably the best structural department in any college of Maharashtra. Although it has completed almost 53 years but its level is going down year by year as all the senior faculty (more than 20 years) are leaving the college.
