M.Sc. is not that common in NITs, so it provides options.

Placements: Around 60% of the students got placed from M.Sc Mathematics in top recruiting companies that prefer more of teaching, i.e., Buyju's, Aakash, etc. with the highest salary package of about 6 LPA, and the average salary package of 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offer is 3 .6 LPA. According to last year records, off-campus placements are more common if students wish to learn coding stuff and all. The college provides higher internship opportunities, and usually, students apply for the interns...

The college provides good placements in the chemical engineering department.

Placements: Placement statistics for SVNIT are quite nice for the chemical engineering department. Many students got placed in many of the top companies like Reliance, TCS, JK Tyre, etc. The highest salary package offered is around 15 and above, and the lowest salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA. The company hired students as a trainee. Most of the students get industrial internships through off-campus or on-campus.

Campus life is great, and the overall experience is for life long.

Placements: Almost 70% of students were placed in our branch with an average salary package offered was around 5.9 LPA and maximum salary package offered was around 12-19 LPA. Only 2-3 core companies visit every year and offer up to 10LPA, which is a decent placement scenario as in India but not matching with top IITs.

Placements: Placements in SVNIT were fairly good. Many companies visited here over a span of 10 months. We didn't have a placement week, and placements went all year. In mechanical, PSUs visit here to hire people with high CGPA with a salary package of 17-20 LPA, and other core companies also visited here like Hero, Honda, MG Motors, Bajaj Auto.
