Satisfied because I just wanted a degree, not placements.

Placements: Decent opportunities visit the campus. Moreover, for computers or electronics and communication engineering field, lots of companies offering good packages visit the campus for placements. These days, some PSUs are also visiting our campus, so no need to worry about GATE exam.

Review of NIT Surat (SVNIT) - Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology.

Placements: As far as the placements of our senior batches are concerned, the placement percentage is good, and one can get placed easily through excelling in their respective branch. As far as EC students are concerned, opportunities in core companies are not up to the level, and software placements are good. One can get all the required information related to placements and training, and the companies that visited the campus and their offers, by going through college's official website www.svnit.ac.in.

Good placements in 2019, the best infrastructure and supportive faculty members.

Placements: Placements in our college were very good. I attended the drive to gain the experience of attending the interview. Placements were held in a good environment. The training and placement coordinators were really helpful, and we didn't need any other support.

SVNIT is the best place to explore many things.

Placements: Our seniors were offered good placement opportunities. Almost everyone got placed with appreciable and satisfactory packages. Some students also got placed in well-reputed companies and dream companies as well. Placements are good, but the only problem is electronics students don't get many core companies for placements. However, there will be many opportunities if they opt for non-core companies.

Good placements in 2018-19.

Placements: About 80% of the students from our department got placed. Placement opportunities were given more to those who are interested in software. The lowest package is 3 LPA for mass recruitment, average package is 6 LPA, the highest salary is around 12 LPA. Core company John deere, coding companies like Wipro, D E Shaw, Capegemini, Honeywell, Amazon etc. visited our campus. 20% of students got internship from our college.

Overall, I am satisfied with the college.

Placements: From the mechanical branch of our batch, around 150-160 from the total eligible students of around 200 got placed. It is almost the same figure for our senior batch. The highest salary package offered by a core company in mechanical is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.75 LPA. Mostly, the roles offered by companies were GET. There is a placement cell and is very useful. All the work related to placement is done by the cell itself. Around 20-25% of the students got internships last year, but it...

The college has good infrastructure but the worst maintainance. All faculty are not up to mark.

Placements: Placements in our college are good for all branches, especially for computer engineering students. The highest salary package offered was 30 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4.7 LPA. AT least 70% of the elligble students will be placed every year. Good companies like Amazon, Hero, Honda, and some PSUs visit the campus for placements. We have separate placement cell and it performs its level best.

It has good placement records, good infrastructure and facilities, well-organised fests and events.

Placements: If you are a good student, then no need to worry about the placement. You can easily get an offer of 10 LPA. You will have to face problems if your CGPA is less than 7. Just maintain the CGPA above 7 and develop your skills which are the major requirements for a company.

The college provides the best infrastructure with the worst maintenance.

Placements: Placements in our college were good for our senior batch. People who want to go for core electronics face heavy competition for placements whereas those who choose software or management will get good opportunities to get placed. Only a few companies visited the campus for placements of core electronics.

Dissatisfied because of the placements of non-IT courses. Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Students require placements from college. Placements in the software field are perfect but not for other fields. We have a very tough competition for placements. So, think once before you choose the fields other than the software field.

The college is excellent for other departments. But, I don't recommend it for ECE.

Placements: Placements in our college, particularly our department, are very good. Nearly 90% of the students got placed from college. Packages offered to the placed students are divided into 3 groups. The 1st group has the packages of more than 12 LPA, and the 2nd group has the packages between 8 to 12 LPA, and the 3rd group has less than 8 LPA. From ECE, nearly 30% of the students got internships.

Placements: Placements mostly depend on the branch. All the students (100%) of computer engineering branch get placed every time, while the companies visiting the college to recruit the students of the civil department is quite low. Among the eligible students of mechanical engineering branch, almost 80% to 85% of the students get placed. I was from the electronics department, and core companies like Airtel, HFCL, John Deere, Siemens, Logistic Fruit Technologies, EXL, L&T, etc., also visit our campus for recruitment.

Review of NIT Surat (SVNIT) - Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements in integrated M.Sc. are less compared to B.Tech and M.Tech. Especially, students of the chemistry branch prefer to pursue a PhD after their degree, as placements are not good. However, some students get placements with the salary package of less than or equal to 5 LPA.

Placements: As when I was in the final year, around 180 students out of 230 were placed. The average salary package offered was around 5 LPA. The placed students are working as a GET (Graduate Engineer Trainee). Around 5-6 companies visited the campus every year for every branch to offer internships. Stipend offered is based upon your area of work. We have a placement cell named TNP. It works efficiently.
