SVNIT is a national-level college.
Placements: 60 percent of the students were placed in electronics and communication engineering. 15 lac per annum is the highest package, and 7 lac per annum is the lowest package offered in our course. The top companies are Google, Meesho, Mastercard, Microsoft, etc. 20 percent of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: There are different classrooms for different-year students in each batch. And for different courses, there are different buildings. Like for chemical engineering, different buildings are there. Hostels are provided for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students, as well as for M.Tech students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable; they are masters in a particular field of study. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty of the semester exam is medium, and our college pass percentage is 98.
Other: Our batch is made up of 75 students from different states of India. The name of the cultural fest is Sparsh and the technical fest is Mindbend.

Overall experience in this college is nice.
Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS and L&T. The top role offered in our course is Job Post. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA in our course. Nearly 40% of the students got an internship.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in our college are the best. Classrooms are clean and settled. We have a large library and air-conditioned labs with Wi-Fi connection. As I am not a hostler, I don't know much about that. But sports and games activity are well managed.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are highly qualified with PhD and are knowledgable, and the quality of teaching is good. In our college, teachers making students industry-ready.
Other: The syllabus of our course should be improved because it is outdated as per new technology. The equipment we use is not in use anymore. The college organises various events like Vision, Spandan, Prakash, etc., and also sports activity like Spark and other international dance competitions.

The college offers excellent infrastructure and services. I would rate 7 out of 10 to our institue.
Placements: About 65% of the students were placed in campus recruitment from the beginning of our batch. The average salary package to fresher was around 3.6 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infotech, Matrix Telecom, etc., are the recruiting companies of our college. About 50% of the students from our department attended internships in various companies like L&T, Hi-Mak, etc.
Infrastructure: Different departments of our institute consist of 6 classrooms,12 labs and a hall for presentation purpose. Classrooms are well-equipped with benches and other necessary requirements, and a separate room is allocated for students in need of a medical emergency. Our institute participates in almost every state-level tournament of every sports category.
Faculty: Professors in our institute are somewhat overrated. Undoubtedly they have excellent knowledge about their job, but they lack in sharing that knowledge to us. Some professors succeed, but some don't. They expect us to learn things in 6-7 months, but they are learning that for 10 years. The course curriculum is good.

I'm absolutely satisfied with the teaching methods and well-equipped labs.
Placements: Placements for 2015 batch took place in September 2018, and more than 150 students were recruited. Placements were better this year as only 139 students were recruited in the previous year. The highest salary package offered was 8-9 LPA by Byju's learning app, and two students were selected. The lowest salary package offered was about 1.6 LPA. Companies that visited the campus to offer placements were TCS, Rangtech, Intel, Jacobs, Cygnet Infotech, ERDA, Byju's, Collabera, Kentech, FLYdocs etc. Roles of employee, trainee, executive director, managerial, etc., were offered. Around 40-50% of the students got internships from the college. There was actually no fixed stipend for internships as most of the internships were for learning and training purpose. However, some students got a stipend of about Rs. 1,500 for 3 months and regular attendance was required for internships. There is a dedicated placement cell in our college called T&P cell and also an entrepreneur development cell which are active throughout the year.
Infrastructure: SVIT was established in 1997. Although the infrastructure is old, timely maintenance is done throughout the year. Now, there are different buildings for each department of engineering, architecture and MCA. Classrooms are well-equipped with fans, benches, and tube lights, but A/C facilities are not available. Labs are well-equipped with all the equipment. The latest equipment is not available, but they are efficient and sufficient for students. There is also spare equipment to replace any faulty or broken equipment. There are more than 40 computers in each department, and they are well equipped with LAN and internet connectivity. The library is one of the most important parts of the college, and it is well maintained and supervised. Its atmosphere is good for students to study, and it has almost all the latest magazines, newspaper, study materials and knowledge books. Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the campus, but we have to register for it via our laptop Mac address. Sports are an essential part of our college. Different sports like cricket, badminton, football, volleyball, basketball, kho-kho, carrom, hockey, etc., competitions are conducted at state and national levels. The canteen serves only vegetarian food, but the quality of food is good. The canteen is the most enjoyable spot in our college. There are no hostel rooms on the campus. However, we can find many good hostels nearby.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well educated and have a very good experience in teaching. They are qualified and have good knowledge. Teachers are helpful and have a good understanding with students. They are very friendly and strict as well. The faculty to student ratio is around 1:22 in every class. Roughly 3-4 industrial visits are organised for every department throughout the year. We have been taken to different industries like Hitachi Hi-Rel, GSFC, and different power plants. During these industrial visits, we were given proper guidance about how the manufacturing and distribution process takes place inside the factory and companies. Since the use of AI has increased, human labour has decreased which is helpful to complete contracts and orders on time for companies. There are two semesters per year and eight semesters in four years of the course. The syllabus is covered before GTU examinations and viva.
Other: A national event like Prakarsh is conducted in the college every year. Along with that, other activities like an annual day celebration, sports week, intra-college events like Aavishkar and Vision, cultural programs, social welfare programs, etc., are also organised.

The best college for engineering
Placements: Many companies come to our college for placements. Every year, many students be a part of them and get a good job. Companies like TCS, Reliance, L&T and many more come to the college. Above 50-60 companies come each year.
Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities to every student as well as faculty member like Wi-Fi, health centre, etc. There are all the sports activities held on the college campus and ground. Our library is good. We can find all the types of books there.
Faculty: Our college is a private or SFI college so it's strict than government colleges. But all the faculty members are very good. The teaching methods of every faculty member are good and easy to understand. If you have doubts, you can go to the teacher's room and ask them. You can learn anytime. All the faculty members finish their syllabus on time. All are knowledgeable, qualified and have experience.
