Best college for students who are looking to build their future in automation field.
Placements: 60% students are placed through campus recruitment and the remaining students opt for Masters or business. Average package offered by companies is about 2.5 LPA. Line, Siemens, worley, reliance, Aarti industries and many more come for recruitment. Internships are offered by the college and we can find them on our own as well.
Infrastructure: Laboratories are well-equipped with high grade PLC and embedded systems. Canteen provides clean and hygienic food at reasonable cost and it comprises of Nescafe and many more things. Computer labs have licensed software with top notch computer software and processors.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly graded with Ph.D. degrees and they have work experience of relevant to their industry. Both teaching staff and non-teaching staff are helpful in both studies and overall development of the students. The head of department, i.e. Dr. R. B. Patel is the one of the board members of curriculum setters.
Other: Prakash is a national level symposium organized by college students. Vision is a college level tech fest. Sports week and Annual day are celebrated every year with different themes.

A good college with nice infrastructure, well-equipped labs and a great library.
Placements: I have still not passed out, but the placements for our branch are okay. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, and the average package is around 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies in our college are Line, L&T, Siemens etc. Any IC engineer can further have roles in automation, AI, robotics, control systems etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities of our department are good. We have many labs and computer rooms where we can easily perform our practicals, and also the latest programming software is also installed in the computers. There are also lab technicians allocated for each lab so that the students don't incur any type of problem.
Faculty: The teachers in our instrumentation and control department are helpful, kind, skilful and knowledgeable. Out of 6 faculty members in our branch, 3 have done their PhD, and 1 faculty is currently pursuing their PhD. This course makes students industry-ready with subjects like PLC, SCADA and DCS, which are taught by excellent faculty members.
Other: Our college also hosts various inter-departmental and national level technical fests which help students in their day to day life. An annual function and sports week are also conducted. Extracurricular activities are also conducted.

A great college life with good infrastructure but poor placement facilities.
Placements: Unfortunately very few companies came for placement this year (in 2018) but in previous year many students got placed in very good companies. For core field jobs average package is 2-3 lac per annum and for management jobs average salary rises up to 8 to 9 lac. Companies like Alembic pvt ltd, byju's and TCS etc. For other branches specially computer and it (information & technology ) placements are good but for instrumentation & control and electrical department does not have placement. And there is no facility of internship in SVIT.
Infrastructure: Svit is 6/10 in infrastructure. There is everything in the college campus including Wi-Fi, well-equipped Labs, Play ground, canteen, stationary, Medical room etc. Hostels are available outside the campus but there is no mess in hostel. SVIT is about 27 km away from Vadodara which is prefer as best place to live or you can also stay at anand which is about 32 km away from college campus. Public as well as college facilities are available for daily up-down.
Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified and knowledgeable. Some of them are even friendly and young. They don't interfere much in anyone's personal issue which I believe is great, but otherwise whenever you require their help they are always ready to help. The teaching quality is great as well as various methods are used for teaching by faculty members. Every year industrial visit are arranged for students industry exposure. Course circular is very simple. You can get note easily from seniors, stationary and faculty members.
Other: A lot of events are keep happening throughout whole year. The most popular one is PRAKARSH which is national level technical symposium. The campus crowd is young and friendly. There are many students from other country. Campus life is quite enjoyable. The college celebrate every festival. There is sports week, and cultural week.

The campus life is great, but placements and industry exposure to students are poor.
Placements: In 2018, unfortunately, only a few renowned companies visited the campus for placements, and most of my seniors got placed in a good number. For core jobs, the average package offered was 3-4 LPA, and for management jobs, the average salary rises to 9 LPA. Companies like Alembic Pharmaceuticals, Byju's, TCS, etc., visited our campus for placements. For other branches, especially computer science engineering, placements are good, but for instrumentation and control engineering, you don't get a lot of opportunities. Most of the companies that visited the campus offered non-technical job profiles. There is no concept of internships in SVIT; it is up to you whether to do an internship or not. Companies didn't visit the campus to offer internships. SVIT has a placement cell, but its performance is average. Overall, at the end of 4th-year, you will get a degree, but there are chances that you might not end up with a reputed job in your hand.
Infrastructure: I will give a 7 out of 10 rating for the infrastructure of SVIT. You have everything in the college including Wi-Fi facility, well-equipped labs, library, girls common room, playgrounds, a canteen, a stationery, ATM, medical room, etc. There are hostels outside the campus, and unlike a lot of other hostels, and there is no mess for students. SVIT is approximately 35 kilometres away from Vadodara, and it is a better place to stay. Students prefer to stay in Vadodara or Anand during their college life and use public transportation as well as college bus facilities to attend college on a daily basis.
Faculty: The faculty members in our college are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Some of them are friendly and young. They don't interfere much with anyone's personal issues which I believe is great. Whenever you require their help, they provide their best. The teaching quality and methods vary from faculty to faculty. Most of the times, the teaching quality is good and comfortable for students. In every semester, industry visits are arranged to provide students with good industrial exposure. The course curriculum is okay and like any other college. You get notes easily from the faculty or the stationery.
Other: A lot of events keep happening throughout the year. The most popular one is Prakarsh, which is the national level technical symposium on the campus. The campus crowd is young and friendly. There are also students from other countries on the campus. The campus life is good and enjoyable. Our college celebrates almost every festival to inculcate social bonding among students. Sports week and cultural week are also organised on the campus.

SVIT, Vasad is my dream college.
Placements: Placements are good enough. Many companies like L&T, Line, TCS, etc., visit our college to recruit the students. So in terms of placements, it is a good college to take admission. Many MNCs visit the college for good students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure which is there in my college is unique. The college is circular in shape, each department has their separate building, and there is an administration building in the centre. There is a building for architecture department.
Faculty: The minimum qualification for a person to be as a faculty member at SVIT is masters in their desired field. Good, reputed PhDs & masters are faculty members at SVIT. All the courses are available including aeronautical engineering, and it is the first college in Gujarat which has aeronautical engineering.
