Really good campus experience.
Placements: We have placements from Jan, so till now, around 80% of students are selected from mock interviews. The highest salary package offered was 47 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 8 LPA. This can be extracted from the college website as companies vary each year. About 99% get internships in companies like MSME, IOCL, etc. Top roles are machine designing, graphic design, etc.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are very interactive and cooperative. College has Wi-Fi in every corner, making it easily accessible. Labs are beautiful and fully equipped, and the library has very knowledgeable and quality books. Classrooms are technically advanced with projectors. Hostel has a 24/7 facility electricity and water with average mess food and a shop for daily amenities. Medical first aid is available for students. Sports and games are available, including both indoor and outdoor activities.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly knowledgeable and have a good amount of practical knowledge. Quality of teaching is very good. Course curriculum is very relevant and industry-based. College also conducts mock interviews to prepare students for job interviews on or off campus.
Other: Course provides scholarships and is also highly recommended by me as faculty members are very cooperative in this course. In improvement, I would like more machines set up in labs for more practical experiences.

Really good infrastructure and facilities. Faculty members are very helpful.
Placements: Placements are different for different branches in this college. Placements for the civil engineering branch are average. Placements for other branches are good, but yet less than 50% of the students get placements. So, placements depend on the knowledge of the students as well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is one of the best when compared to other colleges in the region. Labs and classrooms are well-equipped, clean and have a good environment. Hostel rooms are spacious and are available on a single-sharing basis. Indoor sports facilities like table tennis, badminton, carrom board, etc., are also available. Gymnasiums are available in the hostel as well as in the college. A huge central library and Wi-Fi facility are also available.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were well-qualified. The teaching quality was good. The course curriculum was very useful as it helped us grow step by step up in each passing semester. It was well-designed and taught thoroughly. The faculty members provide a good amount of knowledge.

One of the best semi-government engineering colleges in NE India.
Placements: We have good placements in college. We heard many rumours from our seniors that the college doesn't provide good placements, but it's not like that in any way. The college provides placements in many companies, and mainly IT companies. The placements are most helpful for everyone, and they are provided according to your knowledge.
Infrastructure: The college campus is very good. It is neat and clean, and it is surrounded by lots of flowers. The library and the canteen are fabulous. There is a big playground, and the college is fully Wi-Fi enabled. All the labs are awesome. There's an auditorium, and there are also a library, e-library, canteen and admission cell in another building. The labs are currently based on the new inventions related to all the courses.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are friendly and supportive. They will help you in every way, but you need to ask them your doubts every time. They will coordinate and help you in every possible way. The teaching methods are cool which is readily acceptable by all the students. Their discussion with the students is good.

Don't ruin and spoil your glorifying career by taking admission in these type of colleges.
Placements: We were the senior most batch of our college. Various companies like Ofos Private limited, Concierge Technologies Private Limited, Rioth Corporate limited etc., came to our college for placement activities during our final year. These companies offered an average package to our students. At first, we all thought that our college could create history as all the students were placed. And, as being the first batch, it was a remarkable achievement for our college, but later we came to know that all these companies were actually a fraud company in more or less a similar manner and our college was also a part of it to ruin our careers. I myself got placement in Concierge Technologies Pvt limited. It offered me a very low package of Rs. 13000 per month. In the offer letter, it was written that I could join the company after 6-months from my passing date after completing my graduation, which took me by surprise. I only thought what may be the reason for such a delay. Eventually, when the joining date came, the company didn't even communicate with me anyway, and I then decided to go to Lucknow, the location of the company, to join the company. It took me by surprise when I came to know that the company didn't go our college to hire our students. I then called our placement cell sir and made him talk with the MD of the company. After a long conversation, the MD said that he was not even aware that some representatives of the company went our college for any placement activities. He further said those people were once employed in that company but later suspended due to involvement in various fraudulent activities. Hearing this I was left at nowhere but only to think why I took admission in this irresponsible and *lopsided (*only knows to earn money by ruining students career and nothing else)college. An internship was provided only to certain students, and during that period instead of giving any stipend, they just took Rs 5000 per student as internship fee. Rest students had to manage there internship themselves which sounds very bad. Placement Cell is present, but it is not effective at all anyhow. It is not even responsible enough to bring some genuine companies which can shape the career of the students. Instead, it brings only such fake companies in order to make the name of the college glorifying that they are giving 100% placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not worthy anyhow compared to semester fees our college takes per students. Here, classrooms lack whiteboard and projector facility to make understanding better. Wi-Fi is also present but only limited to the hostel area. Labs were equipped only with the outdated second-hand machines which fail to give accurate results, and that too only a few machines were present. Many times we have to manipulate the experimental results manually without doing practically due to unavailability of the machines. There was a field there to play, but hardly any sports and games activity took due to lack of sports material. Only the library is well-equipped with best quality books, and there was no issue of the scarcity of books. The worst quality of food was found in our college canteen, and the rate was also very much expensive. I could hear the news of some students basically hosteler who used to fell ill sometimes taking those foods. Hostel rooms were good which was maintained with very strict rules. Overall, I faced many infrastructure related issues during my tenure at the college.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful but were not qualified enough and lacked the practical knowledge. Their teaching quality was also too poor, and their teaching methodology was also exam based. It means you can get good marks by following those notes and besides doing some self-study yourself but you cannot understand anything practically as they themselves failed to make you understand it practically. The student to faculty ratio was normal, but they along with the management failed to give any industrial exposure to our students. The course curriculum also was not useful at all, anyway at that time because it only carried some assignments and homework to make only copy paste bookish lessons, without understanding them what we were writing.
Other: One of the main reason, of our college being too backwards is due to the connectivity issue. It is located nearly 4 km away from the bus stop of the national highway for which also many good reputed genuine company didn't want to visit our college for placement activities. It took to much time for coming and going, to and from our college. Bus fares are also very high at our college. If one cannot afford the bus fare, then they have to manage travelling expenses himself /herself which could also be too much for them. Also, the campus surrounding was good of our college in terms of the scenic beauty, but the locality here was like a rural area. Also, the scholarships were provided to the minority students like all other colleges.

Think twice before you take admission in this type of college.
Placements: When we were in the 7th semester, all of our students got placement. We all got placement in three or four different companies. I was selected in OFOS Service Private Limited. After the final semester, this company told us to go to Kolkata and join our job. But after reaching there, they told us that their office was under construction and gave us the address of one hotel. When we went there, they took our document and asked us Rs. 2500 for tools kit. After that, they told us to go back to our home, and after that they never contacted us.
Infrastructure: In our college, labs, classrooms and library facilities are good. But no medical facility was available in our college. In 1st and 2nd semester, we get canteen. After that, there is no canteen. We have to go to the hostel for our lunch. Food quality is average. Hostel rooms are good.
Faculty: Some faculty are good. Our college hires government engineering college teachers who have more experience in teaching. But the rest of them who don't have experience teaches us. They used old study methods. There is no industry exposure.

Review of Scholars Institute of Technology and Management.
Placements: Placements are not that good in our college as they show us. But the faculty is of top-class and they teach us in a very effective way. Only scholars are only getting the placements. The placement comes with a merit basis and good marks. Placements are provided only by private companies and not by any government.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is also good except for the light facility. The corridor remains in dark or less light during college hours. We have two buildings and a boys' hostel. The 1st building is 1st class but the 2nd building is 2nd class. The first building is for faculty members and office and for 1st and 4rth years students. The second building is for 2nd and 3rd year students.
Faculty: Faculty members in the civil department are excellent especially the new faculty members. Still, there is less faculty in our department. But the faculty members we have are energetic and ready to teach us whenever we have any doubt on anything.
