Overall, the college is very good and updated with the latest technology and services.

Placements: The placements are good with an average package of 4.5 LPA. The placements were good for our senior batches as 95% of them were placed in companies like Dell, Microsoft, VM Wayer, L&T Infotech, HP, IBM, etc. The highest package was 45 LPA, and the minimum package was 4 LPA.

The review of UPES from the ground level.

Placements: The placements on the campus are good. The average package offered was 3 to 5 LPA. Most of the students can grab them. The domain-specific companies are limited, but the good thing is that they at least come. The internships can be done through the self-made, or the college provided it. The college provided interns in the multinational corporates company.

Enter at your own will and if you believe in yourself, then you can excel.

Placements: The placements were not the best at my time. Around, 60 % were placed and the highest salary offered was around Rs 4-6 LPA for the B.Tech while the lowest was Rs. 1.8 LPA. All the top MNCs have visited our campus. Since most of them were IT companies, so they offered IT-related jobs. Also, good Internships were offered to the students.

The college has good placements and facilities, but the fee is expensive.

Placements: The placements are good in our college, from our senior batch, approximately 45 students are placed out of 60. The average package is approximately 4 LPA, and the highest is 8 LPA. Overall the highest package is more than 30 LPA. There are many companies visits from IT branches like L&T, IBM, Amazon, Accenture, JIO and many more. These companies also come for the internship approximately half of the strength got the internship from college.

UPES - A centre of knowledge and growth.

Placements: The placement has been one of the most highlighted aspects of UPES. Top notch companies visit our campus and hiring some students from different sectors and for numerous roles. The package offered is always good where the average is around 4 LPA and can go up to 30 LPA.

The faculty and the placements of the college are good.

Placements: The placement of the college is great in some branches, but all over the placement is average. The finest branch like upstream & downstream have very good placement & the average package is 6 lakhs per annum. But in CIT branches the average placement package is 2.5 to 3 lacs per annum. The placement is good, but according to fees, this is low.

The university is great and provides industry exposure to students, but it's a bit expensive.

Placements: The placement records of UPES are good. Talking about 2017 batch, the top-notch companies that hired students from computer science were IBM, Dell R&D and L&t infotech. The mass recruitment this year was done by L&T Infotech. The average salary offered was 4 lakhs per annum.

The placements are quite good but the students will have to work hard to get the best packages.

Placements: The placements of my branch are quite good. 100% of the students are placed. The highest package is about 20 lacs. Microsoft, IBM, VMWare, L&T Infotech, Amazon, CommVault, DirectI, and Dell are the major companies that come for campus placements and many students are placed in these companies. The students are placed for R&D, consultancy, developers, etc.

UPES is quite strict but it can give you placement.

Placements: The placements are quite nice in petroleum branches and some computer science branches such as cloud computing and cyber security. Most of the students are placed at 3-5 LPA. The highest packages were given by Microsoft at approximately 10 LPA. This year, Infosys mass recruited some 200 of the students.

Our college is good in only a few aspects, but bad in many aspects.

Placements: The placements are going well on the campus but not excellent as there are other branches in computer science. Companies hire the students whose CGPA is above 8, so therefore it is a tough job to maintain it. The highest salary package of my branch was around 8 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Overall, only 30% of the students got placed on the campus placements, while 2% of placed students got the highest salary package.

Truth about UPES, B.Ttech from a 1st year student.

Placements: If you are holding an average CGPA and good CV then you may get above Rs. 6LPA, otherwise Rs. 3-4LPA can be assured if you study normally. Off-campus placement can go very high, but on campus, placement can go till Rs. 15 LPA for CSE branch, but for the branches like petroleum placements are high and for the branch like fire and safety placements are very good. Some branches like electrical have less number of students, and they have high chances to get placed with a good package. Here good pack...

The new UPES college is going to be amazing and hopefully be better than before.

Placements: The college provides some good placements. Almost every student gets placed with some good packages. 70% students in our senior batch are already placed in the companies like L&T, KPIT, Microsoft, etc., that visited the college. 80% students got the internship. The placement scenario in the college is better than other institutes.

Fine college with a nice infrastructure

Placements: 100% of the students were placed in my batch but only one chance was given to us so we didn't have any option to choose between companies and this was the biggest drawback. The highest salary offered to CS graduates was 7 LPA. Xebia, Infosys, Dell, IBM, L&T and Capgemini were few MNCs which visited our college for placement rounds. Internships were not so easy from placement division. We had to get it on our own as in the end, a few people had to work from College only and got a certification fo...

Placements: The placements of our seniors were excellent with an average 90% students being placed in companies such as L&T, IBM, Microsoft, VM Ware, HCL Technologies, and CommVault. The average salary that was offered was around 4.5 lacs. The highest average package was offered by CommVault was 15 lacs (approximately) and the lowest salary was around 3.3 lacs per annum. Talent must be there to survive the college.

Placements: Placements in B. Tech CS engineering are going well. More than 70% of the students get placed here in spite of having many CS specialized branches. The placement cell is good such that they target one's talent, not the grade. More and more opportunities arrive as time goes on. I would suggest this college as it is very good in terms of placements.

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies with a beautiful scene.

Placements: Placements of the university are good. Our senior batch was having around 700 students and almost 600 were placed. Companies were of high scale to a low level in large numbers which included TCS, Microsoft, Google, Mahindra, Boston Analytics, Xebia, Amazon, etc. The internships for this year have been a great success as the college provided internships to almost 500 students.

Satisfied because of the faculty and there were good placements in 2016.

Placements: Placement is quite impressive in UPES. Companies like Microsoft, Commvault, Infosys, IBM etc come for recruitment of students. The highest salary offered is 15 lakh per annum and the minimum is 4 lakh. But it depends on the student how seriously he has taken his studies in his curriculum and how perfectly he grabs the knowledge shared by the faculty. 85% of the students got an internship from the college in good companies like IBM, Infosys etc. The highest stipend is 40000, the lowest is 3000 a...

Placements: Almost every student got placed in good companies and the average salary is around 5-6 lakhs. The highest that I have heard about is around 15 lakhs. Overall, the placement is good.
