University of Petroleum and Energy Studies- The life here.

Placements: I got placed with an amazing package, in a startup in Bangalore. Just the kind of job I was looking for, that had been awaited since the beginning of the college. The placements here are great and give you the kind of satisfaction that every student desires for, ever since the commencement of this college life.

The college has a good infrastructure. Placements in 2016 were good.

Placements: Placements in college were quite good. It was nearly 100% placements during my tenure. A lot of companies visited the campus for placements including both MNC and start-ups. The salary package offered to every student was up to the expectations. All students received their offer letter on time even in MNCs like Infosys, IBM, etc.

The infrastructure of our college is good, and our faculty are highly skilled.

Placements: Placement opportunities provided for our courses are quite better than the placements provided for the students of other streams. The highest package offered here was about 20 LPA, ad it was more than enough for freshers in this new generation unless you are highly ambitious. The average package offered was around 5 LPA.

It is a great college providing good placements.

Placements: Placements are great until now. I heard that the seniors are having a good time at their respective firms. They also help juniors understand the working atmosphere. Good companies visit the campus to recruit the students. Along with that, they sometimes provide internships with PPOs.

It is one of the best colleges in Dehradun.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. The average salary package offered is around 4 LPA. As a fresher, if you are getting such a package, then it's a great job. So overall, UPES is good for placements. Many companies visit the campus for placements. The placement team is very supportive and helps you in each step. So, I would rate the placements 4 out of 5.

The university is ever updating.

Placements: Placements in college are quite good. Even last year, the placement rate was above 90% and the rest 10% comprised of the people who didn't actually wanted a job and wanted to go for higher studies. We have recruiters like Dell, and being from the open source background, the scope for placements is vast and hence increasing.

The college is worth the money, and the campus life here is excellent.

Placements: 2017 was the run through when our cybersecurity bunch got set, and it was the first principle branch to get 100% placements, and there was high interest for different branches before. These days each organisation needs digital authorities in their organisation, so demand for cybersecurity is increasing. The most astonishing package is offered by Microsoft which is around 10 lacs per annum whereas the average package is 4.50 LPA.

How worth is the admission is UPES.

Placements: There is no doubt that UPES provides 100% placement, you can be sure with that. But, it totally depends on the student's capability on how much placement salary they can make. UPES is a good place in providing placements in the colleges, and it is one of the finest universities of computer science.

Placements: The placement percentage in UPES in computer science is 90%. Every year, at least 93% of the graduated batches got placed, and the rest 7% are those, who want to be an entrepreneur or start some startup. For that students, the college gives two years time as if their startup fails due to some circumstances, then the college gives a chance to take part in placement exams and interview. UPES - My Career Builder.

Placements: Placements are really food specially in Computer Science. Career service team of college work hard to bring top companies to the campus like Microsoft, VMWare, HCL, Infosys, Commvault etc. Around 90% students get placed in first 2-3 months of placement drive. Specialisation deried companies also cist campus for hiring. I got placed in HCL Security, in my field of specialisation.

Placements: Our seniors got placed in well named companies, about 98% of the students already placed and also their reviews about the training experiences are very good. Many reputed companies have collaboration with our college like ibm, xebia and l&t. So it sounds nice to see the record of placements from last year also.
