Placements: I am learning AI and ML, currently in 3rd year. They have a direct link with IBM so there would be no problem in placements if students are a good and hardworking student.

A good university with great infrastructure.

Placements: There are 40 students in my batch and till now we have a good time having workshops. We are given time to time assignments and thus it helps us in our daily revision. In the last few years, the placements have been really good.

Good for degree and placement. Dissatisfied with faculty members and staff behavior.

Placements: Though I'm a 2nd year student pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science, I stay in regular contact with my seniors regarding the placements going on in UPES. For this year that is 2019-2020, the placements were quite good for the computer science students. Till October only 45% students were placed. Companies like Commvault, MU Sigma, L&T construction, Nestlu, Dell Technologies, ExxonMobil, Reliance Jio, Reliance Industries, Infosys Limited, Honeywell UOP, LTI-L&T infotech, PostDot technologies, Accen...

Review of School of Computer Science, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies.

Placements: The placement was done but not mainly in the core companies. They bring a marketing company and try to place students in that company. We do have a specialised branch, but the company don't visit for those branches. But the course that they offered was good, and the only thing they need to do was to explain the companies about them.

Review of School of Computer Science, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies.

Placements: The college offers many opportunities as some very good companies visit our campus. But it depends on the students to grab that opportunity. Companies offer good placements and internships as well. If students perform well in those internships, then they will get good PPOs beforehand only.

Our college infrastructure is really good and clean.

Placements: I really enjoyed the placement week at our college as it is a good experience to know people and about the companies. New companies visit here every year to recruit the deserving students. Some of the hardworking students also get pre-placement offers after their hard work during the internship tenure.

Overall, the college is average.

Placements: Placements of our college are not up to the mark from the students respective as the companies invited by the college offer very less salary package of about 4.25 LPA. The college invites some companies like Dell, Microsoft, VM Ware, but they hire very fewer students.

It is better than other private colleges.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. In the previous year, the average salary package offered was 5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 24 LPA. Companies that visit our college for recruitment are good, and it offers good salary packages. Our college is tied up with MNCs, so we get an extra edge over placements.

UPES is a college of discipline, and it provides opportunities to students.

Placements: Placements for our branch are quite good. Almost every student got placed with an average salary package of 5 to 7 LPA. In the previous year, many good companies visited our college, like Microsoft, Amazon, Dell, etc. Every top 3 students in academics of every branch are selected for the internship, and some of them also got PPOs from the companies. Our college has a placement cell and its quite useful during internship and placement.

Placements: Placements are good but not excellent. The average package offered is 3-4 LPA and the highest salary offered is 9-10 LPA by IBM. Companies visited are IBM, Amazon, Xebia, Dell, Flipkart, Microsoft, etc. Almost 20%-30% of students got an internship from college. Placements: Placements in the computer science department are really good, but then the whole thing comes up to you as ultimately if you help yourself, then you can be placed well. College starts its placement activities from the month of September and students can get placed in Microsoft and other technology giants. Many companies enter the college and students who are below average and not good at studies are also selected by mass recruiters like IBM and Infosys. University has tie-ups with many companies...
