B.Tech CSE with specialisation in cybersecurity and forensics, UPES.

Placements: 2017 was the first time when our cybersecurity batch got placed, and it was the first branch to be placed 100%, and before the demand was high for other branches. Nowadays, every company wants cyber officials in their company so, demand is increasing day by day. The highest package is provided by Microsoft of about 10 lacs per annum and 2 students got placed in it, where as the average package is of 4.5 LPA. Satisfied with my faculty and university.

Placements: The placement is increasing year by year. Some companies give very good packages to the students. This year 92% of the students got placed. At the university some industrial tours and interns at good companies which provided the more practical knowledge and helps the student in placements.

UPES: an education venture.

Placements: The placement process is very good, providing a variety of options and opportunities to grow and push forward your career path. The domain learning gives an edge over many of the freshers as you have the edge over many colleges. You have been trained according to the industry standards, and according to the industry needs, so it makes a very easy task to grab a job of your interest and make quick and rapid development in the domains in which you want to work. If you are looking for a nice future, join UPES.

Placements: Since I am still completing my 2nd year, I am reviewing the placements of my seniors. The overall placement for CSE is good. The highest package till date is 21 LPA, and the average package has increased to 6 lpa. Companies like Microsoft and Dell came for placement, in the previous year. Dell has offered PPO to three students in the previous year. The placement percentage varies from 85% to 90% and is increasing every day. I got an internship at the end of the 1st year at Team Indus, so that it...

Delightful in every perspective, and best knowledge with the best placement and infrastructure.

Placements: The placement committee provides all the opportunities to give full exposure and support and gives the best platform to the students to utilise it. There are many companies which are invited to campus for the recruitment with a very good package for the students. It provides the initial information of the company.

A good to go college with a friendly environment.

Placements: You get a fairly good platform to display yourself, and the placements are sure, even if you are an average student. So, little effort is necessary everywhere. Since I am a student from the college, my experience of placement has been great after bagging a job in L&T Infotech. A good number of companies visit the college, which can easily accommodate everyone who is willing.

UPES CS, a review from a recent graduate.

Placements: The placement cell ensures that almost everybody in the B.Tech, CS courses gets placed. 80% of the companies which visit the campus don't offer more than 4.5 LPA. The companies like IBM pay very less and hire a lot of students. Some companies like Amazon, Microsoft, etc., offer more money but very few get placed in those companies.

I am glad to study in UPES.

Placements: Every year, 90% of our seniors get placed. They get the training opportunities along with the job opportunities. There is a huge scope for the internship opportunities. We are taken to an industrial tour in which we visit some companies, which help in our placement process.

There is quality teaching. Specialised courses are available. There are good placements.

Placements: Considering the placements of engineering students all over India, the placements went well at the campus. The average package offered to the computer science students was approximately 4 LPA. Nearly, every eligible student was placed in the first placement week. The highest package went up to 15 LPA to 20 LPA. Companies like Adobe and Microsoft visited the campus. IBM and L&T were amongst other recruiters. The internships for 3rd-year students were also given, and the stipend was normal. Some s...

Placements: The college can place the students in reputed companies of the industry like Microsoft, Dell, R&D, Commvault, Adobe, L&T, Infotech and many more. The highest package as per my knowledge was 16.5 LPA in computer science department, which is offered by Commvault. Average package was 5 LPA to 6 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA. It is a domain-skilled college, but the tuition fees are quite high.

Placements: The placement of our batch is quite good. 34 companies came to the campus, and some of them were Dell, IBM, L&T with a minimum package of 3.5 LPA and the highest package is of 14.5 LPA from Commvault. Around 95% people from CS got placed and offered roles of software developers. 60% of the students got the internship and company like Dell gave the stipend of Rs. 50,000 to 2 of the students. The best option for B.Tech is UPES, Dehradun.

Placements: The college is well-known for its placements. I also got placed in Infosys India including my 5 and more batchmates. The best thing is almost 70% of the students got placed in the month of October and rest of all were placed by the end of the semester. There were all well reputed and big companies for the placements.

Choose core branches or computer science, otherwise do not join in this college.

Placements: The bitter truth is that if you have a good grade and a very good CV then only you can get a good placement with a high package of 6.2 LPA otherwise you will not. The placements are good. Majority of the students get placed. The other branches don't have very good placement, but in this branch, the package even goes for 20 LPA. L&T, Microsoft are the companies where students got placed with a high package.
