Vels institute of Science and technology College review .
Placements: The placements are pretty good. Even the Student getting average package are very happy. The college is very supportive in this matter. Almost Every student gets a placement and is happy with it. The quality of the placements in the college has been good. Almost all students get great placements from the college. The highest salary is unknown, but placements from amazon, Infosys and tata is present.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is pretty great. The classrooms have A/C's which makes it easier in the summers Classrooms also have Wi-Fi for internet access. The library is big and is very spacious. The canteen food is hygienic Our college building is 6 floored and all the floors are fully air conditioned. There is cafeteria also on the ground floor of college building where you can get clean and hygienic food. All the lecture theatres have smart boards and fully furnished and well cushioned seats. Our library is 3 floored and it is also fully air conditioned. On the 2nd and 3rd floor of library you can get books of different well knowned Indian and Foreign authors. Ground floor of library is for self study.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and supportive of the students They attend to every query of the class and explain it. Monthly Assignments and presentations are there to keep the students along with the class without backlogs Teachers are very well optimistic about teaching the subjects to the students. The curriculum is well updated. But what we study in college does not make us job ready. An extra mile has to be taken by taking online courses.

The college is not worth the money. Poor infrastructure and worse campus life.
Placements: I am still studying in 2nd year now but my seniors have told me that the placements are very poor, most of the students do not get selected. The placement companies are also not big ones. I have not heard any great thing about placement. They need to improve it.
Infrastructure: We do not have a proper lab to practice coding. Even though our main subject is programming, we still programme in notebooks only. The hostel’s rooms are average and its food is very poor, if you are lucky enough then you will get to see insects on the food. The Wi-Fi signal is also very poor.
Faculty: The teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching wise, there is no problem in the college, is the only problem is its infrastructure. Exams are a little tough. The passing percentage is more than 50. If they give us practical exposure then it would have been better, but they do not have proper labs.
Other: I chose this course to be a developer. I enjoy developing new things. I wish the topics and concepts of my course could match with the current trends like topics about today's development, meta, blockchain development, web 3.0, etc. Events are average in the college.

Placements: About 70-80% of students are getting placed if you participate in the campus interview and online interview. I am highly influenced by the placement facility of this college. I have seen students getting hired by corporates. Faculty members motivate and encourage regularly to apply for good opportunities and they discuss your areas of improvement if you are not selected. Students are placed with high salary packages. They are placed according to the area of their interest.
Infrastructure: The library is good in our college but I never went inside it.
Faculty: It is not that difficult if you learn and understand the teaching, The professors are very experienced, knowledgeable, and helpful. They are adept at spotting students' potential. The university updates the curriculum in response to market demands. Regarding education quality, it is among the top colleges.
Other: Our college provides some events, fest, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, extracurricular activities, etc. The college community is upbeat in addition to academics where you can spot your talent. The campus crowd is cheerful and you will surely enjoy yourself as opportunities are open for all students on the basis of their talent. Trust me this will add a lot to your personality and career. There are different societies like drama, fashion, dance, music, arts, and debate in the college for students to explore their interests and capabilities.

It is good compared with other colleges and has good infrastructure.
Placements: Our college has a placement cell. Every year, many renowned companies come and recruit our students. The career-building workshops are there. Our placements are of high quality, and our principal works very hard to place students in the best companies. The highest salary package is 7 LPA, and we also get a salary package of 3.6 LPA. Internships are also available.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and the facilities are good. The equipment present in the laboratory is very good. Our college has dedicated classrooms with a smartboard and a projector. It also has a huge library and a huge sports field. Our college has a canteen, and the food is good for us. Our department has air conditioning, and the classrooms were very clean.
Faculty: The experienced staff are good. Their classes are interesting and fun to attend. Everything is good. Proper study materials are available.
Other: All extracurricular activities are properly done.
