Really good for extracurricular activities, but for academics and placement, it is average.

Placements: In my batch (Computer Science 2021), only 40% of students were placed. Out of those placed students, 60% were placed in companies offering 5 LPA and long-term bonds. The highest package was offered by Future First at 13 LPA, and the average package is 5-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IQM, Future First, Playpower Labs, Injala, Argusoft, Cygnet One, and Tatvasoft. The summer internship is an option with placement; you can either do a summer internship after the 3rd year or opt for placement i...

Review of School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Placements: College is not good for placements as they are below average. There are very few companies visit for on-campus placement. Most of the students grab packages at Google, Goldman sachs off-campus.

Studying at Ahmedabad University.

Placements: The highest was offered by Amazon. Roles were like sde, sdk, business analyst, technical trainee, web developer, etc. were offered. Many students got their own internships and some were provided by the college. Roles offered are good and the learning is great in the corporate environment.

Our campus environment is good, and our college provides good growth.

Placements: The placement cell is quite effective in helping students to get placed in core companies. I have interacted with our seniors, and they told me about the placement training provided in the college. The placement records of last year were satisfactory. Placement opportunities for the mechanical department are high compared to other branches, but they need to maintain a balance between all the departments regarding placements.

There is project based learning in the interest of students.

Placements: The first batch of mechanical engineering graduated in 2018 with salary packages ranging from 2.8LPA to 3.25 LPA. The placement in mechanical engineering is quite less than the ICT (Information and Communication Technology). Mainly, companies like Amazon, Havells, Siemens, GNFC, Maruti Techlabs, etc. visited the campus. Also, we have a placement cell which is dedicated to the students' development.

Great experience overall and fun college life.

Placements: The placements are average in the mechanical branch. The average package is around 3-4 lakh. However, if you manage to get decent grades throughout the semesters and have sound technical knowledge then the chances of getting placed are very good. Maxxis Tyres visit the campus.
