Placements: This year 6 students got selected in core branch with a package of 3 lakhs per annum. Since placements of aerospace are not good in India, that is why this proved to be a good offer. Getting placement in core branch is more of a tough job. Otherwise, the college has a good record of placements.
Placements: The placement of my college is quite good. Even if the placement of avionics is not good, still they can sit for placement in the IT sector. The student that gets placed from this college received an average package of 7 LPA. The placements of this sector can only grow up when there is a boom of aerospace in India.
Placements: There are very fewer placements offer in the college. It is little tough, and not all of my senior students are placed from the university, but many of them got their jobs from off campus. Some of the senior students went to France, Estonia for their internship. One needs to have good grades for it as well.
Placements: The percentage of the students being placed from UPES aerospace engineering is low. But the placement of other branches is very good. In my senior batch, there were only two companies that visited this year and hired two students. The highest package offered to them was Rs. 6 lakh per annum.
Placements: The placements offered in our college are not the best amongst all the colleges in India, but it is the best in Dehradun. The companies visit our university, but it is solely dependent on an individual to get the job offer or not. Our senior students got well placed in many companies. Many students also get PPO after their internship.
Placements: The placement of my college is not good for my branch. From many years, the students have been opting for the higher studies and not the placement because neither the placement of our college is good nor the students are much interested in taking it at the undergraduate level because one doesn't get good career opportunities just by a Bachelors degree.
Placements: The placements are average. Most of the students get motivated for higher studies, so they don't even opt for sitting in the placements. The average salary is six lakhs per annum. The department tries a lot of one student's placement, but it solely depends on the person to get it or not.
Placements: The placements of my college for aerospace engineering are not that good. A few students got placed in the companies. The reason is not the college, but there are few exposures of aerospace in India. The off-campus placements are good. Apart from it, FSE, computer science and chemical wins in this area more than us.
Placements: The placements in my college are good. The students get exposure in the final year. A few companies are coming for the interview, but still, there are high chances for all the students to get placed well. The internship opportunities vary. My seniors have gone abroad for their internship.
Placements: There are good placements in aeronautical industry and research fields, and a very useful practical education is helpful. Industry oriented diverse teaching topics are provided. Placements get better with time, and hopefully, things will be good in 2020. There is a placement office with dedicated representatives and student representatives.
Placements: There is 100% placement of computer, chemical, fire and safety branches. The placement from campus in the fourth year is not good. However, the offsite companies hire good students quite easily. One can increase the chances of one's placement easily by doing more research papers.
Placements: The placement of our branch is very good. Many companies came and gave a good package (around 10 LPA). Companies like ESRI and TCS are the core companies. The lowest package of my branch is around 5 LPA. The college provides each student with an internship in the 3rd year. Our college placement is 100% and in my branch, all the seniors are placed with a good package and a good job designation.
Placements: Frankly speaking the placements in the past years has not been up to the mark. Most of the students were placed at an average salary of 3-4 lakhs per annum. Although the companies like Rolls Royce, Mahindra aerospace visited and few got selected. I am not aware of the stipend, if any, offered to the students.
Placements: The placements are very good. From Non-CIT and CIT, all the branches have average 5 lakhs per annum. 100 percent is available for all the branches. FSE, chemical, aerospace, computer science branches have best placements. Faculty members support every student at the placements time.
Placements: Currently, the placements in aerospace sector are low, not only for this college but even in IITs. Last year, 10 students among 39 were placed, out of which the highest package was of 14 LPA and the lowest package offered was 3 LPA, although the overall placement of the college is up to 90%. Not to lose hope, the college provides an excellent opportunity for masters and research in your field. Many students who have passed have been in excellent colleges around the globe for masters.
Placements: As the placement process is still undergoing, nothing can be said conclusively. But, so far, the college has managed to become a hub for different national and international companies recruitment process. The highest salary offered, as per my knowledge, was around Rs. 1.8 million in the petroleum sector whereas the minimum is Rs. 800 thousand, till date.
Placements: Petroleum placement of the university is good and the highest package bagged by the student this year was 34 LPA, and in the computer department, the highest package offered was 16 LPA. Companies like Schlumberger, L&T, Dell etc. visited the campus for placements this year. College provides good internship to the students.
Placements: In our branch, the placement is satisfactory. It may be so because students of the quality that the branch demands are less here. But those who are good and interested in this field will surely get well placed. Well, placements depend only on the students' capabilities. If you are good enough, no one can stop you. By the way, a lot of companies visit UPES with good offers. This time, placement was about 95%. This university creates a good environment for learning which develops capabilities in e...
Placements: The placement is good. Our senior batches got 100% placement in core companies like Reliance, Dr. Reddy, Va Tech Wabag, Adani, L&T, Vedanta, etc. Packages can vary from company to company. The average package is 5 to 7 LPA. For internship, there is the option of by self or by college. If you choose by college then they will provide you an internship in a good company.
Placements: The placements are pretty good. If you have skills and you can beat others, the college will provide you with the best facilities. Companies that recruit in oil and gas sector are although less, there's always your capability that makes the difference. Schlumberger and ExxonMobil recently recruited two of our super seniors. On top of that, they gave PPOs i.e. the pre-placement offers to them. ONGC and Schlumberger are always the first priority of UPES and they never disappoint. ...
