One of the best private colleges situated in an amazing location

Placements: Pretty decent compared to other private colleges. The average: 4 LPA and the highest: 18 LPA. Placements of core branches are much better. Upstream, downstream and automotive have the highest number of placements. Other branches too have decent placements. New branches in computer science have recently become very famous in the industry.

UPES-A place to go, learn and grow.

Placements: The placements were average as most of us got motivated towards the higher studies. So, there were only a few persons interested in the placements. And those students got placed in good companies like Dell, Sara Sara, Bajaj Sons, GPP, etc. with good packages.

UPES makes the student a real engineer in arms of nature, greenery and a positive environment.

Placements: My batch is the 2nd batch of this course and the placements of our seniors were not so good but this year the placement is good. Around 70% of the students from our batch got placed. The highest offered package is 7 lacs p.a. and the lowest is 2.8 lacs p.a. Many companies visited our campus, few of them are Pidilite, Ghaziabad Precision Products, Aimil, Byjus, SRB International Pvt. Ltd., Bansal Wires Industries Ltd., Procmart etc. But most of them hired for sales and marketing except Bansal Wir...

Completely satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placements are average. It depends on how you study. The average packages are around 3-4 lacs per annum and if you do good in your academics and improve your knowledge in technical, then you can get a 6-7 lacs package. One of my seniors got a package of 7.2 lacs in Maruti and other seniors too got high packages.

In these 4 years, you are going to be transformed. Big companies like cairn India, Schlumberger etc. Do visit the campus every year for internships and placements

It was an amazing experience studying in upes. It has great infrastructure and the atmosphere there is also very peaceful. The facilities are very good. Hostel was pretty decent. The faculty are experienced and do take effort to help students. For students who love culture and a different situation this college is the best. The crowd there is a little mixed up but you will find people from every state and many countries.

This college provides good placements to the students. The faculty is good and they give their best to us. Although the college is situated on the foothills, the college infrastructure is still very good. The environment is nice for studying. The college gives good facilities to the students. They give many chances to all the students to come ahead. This college is having collaboration with companies like IBM. They organize many technical events.

The College as a whole is too good. The environment of the campus, the crowd, the faculty plus the ambience is the best part. You seriously get a good exposure out here. I being a fresher can only say that this college is worth opting for. The branch I opted for is not very common but would have a huge demand in future plus the college has many departments for bachelor’s degree with too good specialization to opt for. It’s worth the price you give for coming here.

College is good for those who want to enjoy their 4 years college life. They provide good exposure but the fees are quiet high comparing to other colleges. But if you are looking for a college with good placement in your respective area, I must say this is not the one(except petroleum streams).

Good thing about my College is the Placements in different fields and the location of the College is awesome because it’s near the hilly area. Bad thing is the overcrowding & transportation system to the college. Missing aspects are not very much but one theatre with a very huge capacity must be there in the College.

It’s a good college with beautiful campus, awesome faculty members and placements. It is one of the very few colleges in north India where you can pursue Aerospace engineering. The only down side of this college is its Fee structure. Here you will be finishing your B.Tech in 12 lakh which is very high as compared to the other colleges.

U.P.E.S is the most awesome experience of my life, it is placed in top 20 beautiful campuses across the country. It has a specialty of offering domain specific branches and it provides very good infrastructure. I consider it a very creative place, where students have the opportunity to get world class exposure and expertise in their area of interest. Thus I would recommend this college to everyone, if you have that fire in you then it's the best place to be.

Living your life in Dehradun and UPES is worth it any day. The environment, the calmness and the life is amazing there. If you got to learn and earn, it provides everything. The college makes you learn how to live, how to survive and everything else. I recommend it to join. Of course, not better than IITs, NITs, DCE, etc.
