At the Postgraduate level, SOL DU offers a MA course for a minimum of two and a maximum of four years duration. The PG-level course is offered in four specialisations. MA admission in DU SOL is both merit and entrance-based. 50% seats of the total are filled by direct admission with the students of Delhi University only. The remaining 50% of the seats are filled through the entrance examination and Interview/Group Discussion with students who are outside Delhi University. For MA from SOL DU, candidates need not register separately, as the SOL option is by default in the application form of DU.

School of Open Learning admission to this course is merit-based for the students of Delhi University.
