If you want to study for competitive exams, DU SOL is a good option for open learning.

Placements: Mostly, students from my school opted for B.A. as they want to study for competitive exams etc. There are not many placements in this course. If you opt for hons., then you can go for teaching and other lines, but the B.A. programme will help you for your competitive exams.

SOL DU is good, but the management is too slow, which should be improved.

Placements: The college provides internal postings too. They sometimes do help students, but they should give attention to the students more than other students of the regular college. They should take care of them, and also should be concerned about their studies.

Review of School of Open Learning, University of Delhi.

Placements: If you apply for SOL, you can't expect a job placement. However, you can go to their website and apply for the post you desire. Other than that, you can ask the administration for your future job placement needs, and they can probably do something for you.

Absolutely dissatisfied with unqualified teachers and with their poor teaching skills.

Placements: B.A. is a very easy and understandable course. 40 to 60 per cent of students were placed in this course. As I said this course is very easy and understandable it also gives internships to more than 40 per cent of students. So there is huge scope in this course.

The college has really good infrastructure.

Placements: 60 to 70% of students got placed. The packages offered ranged from 2.15 to 30 LPA. Many companies came to the university for hiring students. If you want a part-time job and study, this is the best for you.

I am very much satisfied with my college experience.

Placements: SOL has a special placement cell for students. Few reputed companies like NIIT and ICICI visit here, but they offer jobs in call centres or sales jobs. The placement cell of the college needs to be improved in providing better placements for students. Many companies can be invited for placements.

I am satisfied with the support of faculty members.

Placements: Due to covid 19, we spent 2 years at home, and our college did not have private placements. I don't think SOL provides campus placements.

Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placement procedure is not good. We are not even intimated about any placements taking place on the campus. Very few or almost negligible opportunities are provided here. More than half of the students are not even aware of any placements conducted at the campus.

I am highly satisfied with my college. It is also highly reputed colleges in India.

Placements: I am currently studying B.A. programme in SOL DU. There are lot of courses and as its a government college you'll get a lot of facilities at low costs. After completing you can achieve lot of goals like you can participate in Civil Service examination and also other government jobs, and you can also go for private jobs also.

It was a nice experience.

Placements: This college doesn't recruit you to any of the companies. It's a college correspondence education in case you're pursuing some other course also and unable to attend college So this college becomes your savior at that time and provide you with everything you require for that course.

Our college is very important.

Placements: My course is B.Com, and its overall fee is 1.5 lac. My academic percentage is 70% in exams. Mahindra and many more companies are invited for the entire batch. Campus placements are really good, and also companies like Amazon, Genpact, Wipro and many more visit here for placements. The average salary package is dependent on your course.

DU SOL - full review in brief.

Placements: SOL for B.Com programming students is not that good because it admits the students from all over India and they used to speak different languages so it’s definitely hard to connect with the classmates. The staff of the college is pretty good in connecting with all of us and they help us to get rid of all our problems.

Our college has good faculty members with affordable fees but poor infrastructure & administration.

Placements: The placement cell of our college is not that good. Very few students get the opportunity to get placement. Even the salary packages offered were very low. There were some good companies offering jobs but they rarely select students from this college. Many students also joined some internships in data entry, digital marketing, etc.
