It is a good college for students who cannot attend regular classes.

Placements: None of the students got placed from college recruitment. There are no highest and lowest salary packages offered as none of the companies visited our college for campus recruitments. Moreover, no internship opportunities are offered by the college. If students want to do a job, then they can apply for various companies on their own.

Review of School of Open Learning (DU SOL), University of Delhi.

Placements: Our college is not very helpful, and they aren't bothered about anything. I don't know much about it as I am still studying.

I am completely dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: There were almost no placements for this course. There are around 80 to 90% of the courses, which doesn't provide any opportunities for placements. The companies don't come for us, and the same things go for the internship as well.

Review of School of Open Learning (DU SOL), University of Delhi

Placements: It is a correspondence college, so they don't provide any placement for B.Com course. Mostly students who are already doing job or also studying for some other exam opt for the correspondence course. So if you are looking for correspondence college than don't expect for placement through college.

It is a good college, and I advise others to take admission.

Placements: Most of the students got a job, and academically below-average students are doing their internship. The minimum salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month and the highest salary offered is Rs. 45,000 per month. I recommend others to take admission in this college because you can also save your time and can do other professional courses.

I am satisfied just because of the college reputation.

Placements: Our college don't provide any on campus placement because it is a distance course and most of the placements are done off campus and it completely depend on you and your ability and communication skills as well as the way which you carry yourself in an organisation.

I am not satisfied because of placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are not done on a regular basis. The placement percentage is also very low, and no company shows interest in visiting the college because students here don't come on a regular basis, and opportunities are very less here.

SOL is a good college to do graduation.

Placements: Around 50-60% of the students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was about 2 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 1.65 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was about 1.35 LPA. No companies come for the recruitment of students as such. Almost 10-15% of the students got internships in some accounting firms.

Poor placements. Come here if just a degree is all you need.

Placements: Placements of the college is equal to nil. Placement team isn't active at all. No company tie ups. No corporate exposures. SOL is meant only for a degree. If you are working already and need a degree, or you want to pursue studies, this is the right place.

Just a degree seeking place.

Placements: No placements in SOL. Placement cell is there but no work on placements. Very basic salaried jobs are there like data entry jobs or Tele calling which can be found from outside too easily. No one comes here for placement. Just a degree.

Opt for this college only if you need a degree.

Placements: SOL was not offering any placements during our course duration. A placement cell is recently formed, which is offering very low placements. This is the best place only for a degree and if you want to pursue further studies or you want a degree while doing a job. IT is not good for placements.

Join SOL if you need only a degree and no placement.

Placements: Recently a placement wing was started, but placements are very poor as of now. Earlier, no placements were provided, but SOL is now growing. Now they offer placements with salary ranging from Rs.10,000 per month to Rs. 15,000 per month. People usually come here for a degree only and opt for further studies.

Go for SOL if you just need a degree.

Placements: They did offer some placements but I did not find anything worth joining or applying for. They have just started the placement cell and they are still growing on that. The placement committee was hardly there at that time. But now I have heard that they offer basic jobs which aren't too good. Don't go here for placements. Go for a degree only.

SOL is the best place for graduation if you are a working employee.

Placements: Placements provided by our college were below average. During our course duration, either no placements were offered from college. But by the end, those placements were offered which can be easily found on online portals. Students who are doing a job somewhere and need to pursue study at the same time join the course here.

Our college is not excellent but it is definitely good.

Placements: I don't know about students got placed or not. Neither I know anything about the salary package offered. None of the companies ever came for placements as we were open learning students. As far as I know, no one got any internships from open learning.

This college is only for those students who are doing some other work.

Placements: Our college does not provide placements as it is a distance college. The college is a part of Delhi University. All the placements are basically off- campus, and it depends on you what do you want to do after graduating with a degree. Most of the students either prepare for some exam or do work.

SOL is one of the best ways to do graduation with other professional courses like CA, CS, CMA, etc.

Placements: The field of commerce is a professional field which deals with the professional courses such as chartered accounts, company secretaries, cost and management accountants, banking, etc. This field has a wide scope of placement such as in banks, accounts department, taxation, etc.

Mostly CA aspirants choose either B.Com or B.Com (Hons). That's why I also chose this course.

Placements: Mostly students after higher secondary pursue this course especially those who pursue chartered account course. I am also one of them. However this course is not of that worth as it is in regular college of north campus. By pursuing it through school of open learning may not fetch you a good job.

Our college is good just because students can do study/job. No need to worry about attendance.

Placements: Almost 45-56% of the students are placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 25,000-30,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000-12,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 15,000-20,000 per month. As it is an open school, many companies do not visit here. Some companies visited here for the accounts department. Roles of an account manager is offered. The highest salary package offered in our course is 3.5 LPA to 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered in our course is 1.2 ...
