Placements: I am pursuing a Chartered accountancy course and the reason for choosing this college was the same so that I can add more value to my CV. Most of the students choose this college who are pursuing a professional course side by side. In this college, there are no internal placements. Still there are opportunities for students in this college. A student with B.Com (Hons) degree from this college can easily get 10,000-12000 in the market.
Placements: The percentage of students get placed in our course is very low, and that is only 20-30%. The average salary package offered ranges from 3-5 LPA. According to my experience, the placement cell is not satisfactory. But many times, students get good placement opportunities.
Placements: There are no placements for students here. Because I am studying for government examinations, and doing my graduation here is really handy for me. It gives us the skills to get an average-range salary. Students can do an internship on some government website, and the information is given on our mail ID.
Placements: It is a very good school of open learning if you want to pursue your graduation. There is a yearly exam. There are placements for jobs with a salary package of around 2 LPA-3 LPA. An assistant manager is a role offered in finance jobs. My course is like an economic Hons course, and this will include around 15 subjects during the 3 years.
Placements: I am not completed my bachelor's degree till now. So I have no experience of placements in our college. But most of the students get good placements up to their requirements with a sufficient amount of package. The companies like Eros Now, Hindustan Times visit to hire students.
Placements: I am currently pursuing B.Com at SOL and I thought that there were no studies in open colleges but that was a different experience. About 159 students got placements based on B.Com from SOL. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA. That was not from top high-end companies as they are just small companies. About 10-20 students got internships in good companies. The roles offered in our course are back office, accountant, accounts manager, sales executive, etc.
Placements: School of Open Learning is a constituent college of the University of Delhi providing distance learning to students who are either not willing to join regular colleges or are pursuing other courses with college. It provides programs in commerce and social sciences. Top recruiting companies like Kotak, Amazon, Wipro, etc., visit the college for placements. In our batch, the top recruiting company is ICICI Bank, where applications are invited for relationship officers.
Placements: Placements were not good at that time. Students were not getting a good package at that time but now things were developing students with good opportunities even in colleges some companies take exams and whosoever clear that exam within their cut-off criteria they can get that job.
Placements: I am from B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science (Free) course. So there are not many possibilities of campus placements. It organise some job mela in DU. Doing graduation from SOL should be your last option as you can choose any of the private colleges of your home state.
Placements: Because of COVID, there is no information available regarding placements. It did not inform us anything about placements, and I am in the 5th semester, and all my semester exams were online. I saw somewhere that students get a salary package that ranges from 8-9 LPA.
Placements: Students with good knowledge get placed. The top recruiting companies are Walmart, pharmaceutical companies etc. Many students got internships from college, but some of the students didn't accept it. Only 10% of students accepted it and went with it. The top role offered is a clerk.
Placements: Around 90% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The top companies which come for campus recruitment are Deloitte, Wipro, ICICI, and many more. Around 20% of students get internships. Roles offered are chartered accountant, cost accountant financial consultant, and finance manager.
Placements: Average passing marks are compulsory for registration. The lowest salary offered is around Rs.20,000 per month, and the highest salary offered is around Rs.80,000 per month. Only for graduation completion degree above 60-70% of students got internships in BA, B.A. program, B.Com (Hons), and many other levels of graduation in this college.
Placements: Being a CA student, I have chosen SOL to complete my graduation. So, I don't see SOL from a placement perspective. I do not know about the placements. If you want to do a professional course, then you can opt for a distance learning college or else try to get into a regular college.
Placements: It is a good choice if you want to prepare for any other courses like CA, CS, government jobs, etc., as you will get enough time to study for that. But the only issue is that you will not be able to enjoy your college life. It is the best college if you want to work while studying.
Placements: None of the students got placed, but this college is not meant for placements as it is a distance college. This college degree is not meant to achieve, and it is just a part of the education to gain knowledge. Skill improvisation is necessary.
Placements: The placements of our college are fine as it is an open college system. So the placements are not very enhanced. Approximately 55% of students get internships from here. There are no separate cells for placements and internships. Companies which offer placements aren't much renowned.
Placements: There is almost no placement for SOL B.Com students. SOL isn't even bothered about providing placements to its students. You will have to look after for placements on your own. You can easily get a job as an accountant if you look for any CA firm, but you have to work hard.
