General Category Candidates must have passed 3 years Diploma with with a minimum of 55% marks in the final year examination or must pass in any recognized bachelor's degree in Science of minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics as a subject. Candidates from Backward class community of Tamil Nadu need to secure an aggregate of 50% marks in the final year diploma examination / Final year B.Sc.degree course. Candidates from Most Backward class community of Tamil Nadu need to secure an aggregate of 45% marks in the final year diploma examination / final year B.Sc.degree course. Candidates from SC/ST community of Tamil Nadu need to just pass in Diploma Course / B.Sc. Degree course.
