Good Infrastructure but facilities should be more if they want.
Placements: I am a student of 1st year of college so I don't know about the placements very well but I know something about it. In our batch there are no placements as we are just in 1st year but for the seniors there are some placements. 40% of students were placed. I don't know about the offered salary. Companies like ICICI, HDFC bank and many other banks are visited our campus. Most of the students are get job as a banking executive.
40-45% students got internship from our college. I did not know much about it but I can tell that it is useful.
Infrastructure: There are many good facilities in our college. The classrooms are very big in size and NIT & clean. The library is the best part of our college there is a full air conditioning library with a great environment. There are many scopes of sports as there is a common room for sports and games. There is a gym also. But there is no working Wi-Fi in our college. The labs are very good and clean. All the things which needed is available in the lab. The food of the canteen is not so good and the canteen is to small to. No I did not face any infrastructure related issue.
Faculty: Yes the teachers are so helpful and also very knowledgeable. As we all know in an institution there are some not so good teachers and our college has some of the this kind of teacher too but they are very few in number. The teaching quality is very good. They used the method of teaching which we can understand all the things. No I did not get industry exposure. Yes the course curriculum is useful.
Other: There are many events in our college there are annual sports, saraswati puja, basanta utsav etc. We just enjoyed the freshers very much some moths ago and the fest is coming soon in our college. The campus of our college is very beautiful. There are many extra curricular activities like seminar etc.

Excellent faculty. The facilities and infrastructure could do better.
Placements: Placements depend on the course one is pursuing. All the departments do not have their placement cell. The placement cell, however, is helpful to those who seek it. Companies like IBM visited and recruited the year I passed out. But placements, in general, are not that great. Being a Calcutta University college, the concept of an active placement cell coordinating with all departments is still not prevalent here.
Infrastructure: The college has a well-stocked library. The library is one of the best places in the college. Built in the old style with high ceilings, it is airy and quite large in area. It has Wi-Fi facility too. The classrooms are of different types. While some are normal classrooms, some are of the gallery kind. There are games facilities like carrom and table tennis in the common rooms which are separate for boys and girls. The college has its own sports teams. There is an ample number of washrooms on every floor. The labs are well-equipped. There are 2 chemistry labs with most of the necessary facilities. The biology labs could do better. If the college could allot bigger spaces for the biology labs, it would do the department a whole world of good. There are 2 biology labs and the one on the 3rd floor is better equipped for experiments carried out under sterile conditions.
Faculty: The faculty members are excellent. It is one of the best things about the college. Most of the faculty members in the Biology department are Ph. Ds in their field and have in-depth knowledge of their subjects. The faculty members are approachable and are available at all times during college hours. They allow one-on-one conversations and problem handling. They act as mentors in the true sense of the word.
