Overall, the campus is good, but the classes are hectic.

Placements: There are no placements on the campus. They don't even call the company for the placements. So, mostly, every person from my college did not get a job. I recommended everyone to not to take admission in my college. The faculty members are not supportive, and all the time they insult the students.

This college has extra rules, more studies, mediocre faculty members.

Placements: The college will make you like a star, but it's upon you how to shine. The placements are not very good, but around 10 companies visit every year providing package under 3.3 LPA and TCS is among them. They focus on personality development and building strong communication skills. There are numerous small activities conducted regularly. Different workshops are held every year.

The feedback is average according to me, but the college is reputed, and it is under UPTU.

Placements: Every year, TCS visit the campus as it is an MNC for our batch. TCS took 214 students, which was the record placement in the history of the college in TCS. On the other hand, the companies like Mentac and Wipro also comes on the irregular basis. Overall, I would say average placement, but the exposure to placement activities are good.

It is a bit good than average college of UPTU. You will not be grateful to his college.

Placements: The placements offered are good for the computer science engineering students. For the electrical and electronics students the placements offered are poor. But now the placement cell is concerned for the placement. Last year the placement of cs branch was good. Technical jobs are less offered in the placements & non-technical jobs are more offered. The minimum salary package was offered is 2.64 lacs per annum, and the highest salary package was offered 6 lacs per annum for B.Tech students. Some ...

Disciplined college. Provides wonderful environment for innovation.

Placements: The CS & IT branch students get placed in companies every year. But there are fewer chances for other branches like the mech, EE, EC and EN. TCS is the top recruiter in our college, but since two years it had not shown any their interest in our college. Being a student of this college is a matter of pride to me.

SRMSCET, a good college to join.

Placements: The placements are fine. 1 got placed in 3 companies that were Maintech (HCl), Accelar, and I don't remember the third one. The package offered is around 1.8-4.5 Lacs. But, the placements of the core branches are poor. The college has a separate placement cell.

Overall, the college is not very good.

Placements: Placements of the college are marginal. No industry exposure is being given to us, no great placements. Most of the college placements are dependent on TCS, single most good company and none for electrical, mechanical and electronics. The highest package is 3.16 lacs, that is being offered by TCS itself and the role is that of assistant system engineer. The college administrations are least interested in improving the placements conditions. Internships are not provided by the college. ...

Best college in the region for CSE and IT branch, but bad for rest.

Placements: Placements in our college are below average and it depends on your branch of specialisation. Students from CSE and IT are almost all placed in good companies like TCS, Webkul and Ranlabs from on-campus drives and some are also placed in IBM and HP from off-campus drives. When it comes to those of the other branches, very few of them make it through. The salary offered is 3-4 lakhs per annum and can be as low as 2 lakhs for some companies. Companies that visit the college are all BPO, KPO and sm...

Worth going for computer science and IT but not for others

Placements: The placements in our college are below average and it depends very much on your branch. Students from computer science and IT branches are mostly placed in good companies like TCS, Ranlabs, Webkul from on-campus drives. But the college shouldn't think about only a selected group of students. For placements, the college was only dependent on TCS but this year, even TCS was not there for placements. So, the college relied on small startups which promised a package of 5 lakhs. But later, they were...

Good in academics but poor placement

Placements: The companies visit for fake placements. There is no credibility of the companies coming for placement drives. There is a declining trend in the number of placements especially for core branches like EE, ME, and civil. Few core companies visited the college in recent years.

Bad placements in 2016 but totally satisfied with the hostel.

Placements: I’m a final year student but I am facing the placement problem most. 3 companies have come and selected only 40 students. The college is taking fees from the students for placements but does not give it to the companies and that’s becoming the reason for the companies not hiring more than 10 students.

The college is good but is having hard rules and regulations for each one. There are regular check intervals for students that whether they're attending classes or not. In a case of short attendance, they put fine for the students who do not secure the minimum required attendance. One can join the college if and only if he can handle huge strictness.

The guidance provided here is good but due to location, this college is not able to keep up with the pace of today's era. This college has taught me discipline and hard-work but it failed to pay off efficiently during placement season. Campus is green and pollution free but in this particular city, opportunities are very limited.

The college has an elegant background of discipline (students of other colleges affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University also know about SRMSCET's discipline). Sometimes it's really boon but at other times, the same discipline feels like suffocating. In my first and second year, students were not even allowed to keep personal mobile handsets which again had pros and cons. The faculty of my Electrical Engineering Department was good. There was a mix of experienced & new lecturers. However...

The college has strict rules regarding discipline which can be beneficial if used judiciously. But the management is not able to maintain the repo it had before I joined. Only 1 company used to come at that time and I believe the case is same as of now as well.

This college used to be one of the oldest and best institutions in UPTU when I took admissions. But now it has lost its luster partly due to changing scenarios and partly due inability of the college management to evolve with the changing times. The faculty here is above average. They work hard in making you write notes. Some of the old faculties have subject knowledge but most of them concentrate only on notes. College hours stretch from 8 am to 5 pm, 6 days a week. A major chunk of the day is ...

Average college in all perspectives .

Placements: Approximately 80% people are placed. Average package is 3 Lacs per annum. TCS is a top recruiter. 40% interns. Computer Science and Information technology are top courses offered. The lowest package is 2 lacs. The highest package would be approximately 5-6 lacs.
